It took several hours o get the box working. I understand the legal issues about Repos and Builds. It is complicated because DBMC is Kodi 16 and the Kodi App is 17. You either need to be very clear bout this or stick to one Kodi. I love the box. It is 10x better than my IMX6. I think most of my friends would struggle. You need technical knowledge to get the best from the box.

I've been blown away with quality of the droidboxT8-S plus v2. It very user friendly after previously using cheap chinese boxes this is a totally different experience. Delivery was as stated and have had no problems using it so far. Would defiantly recommend Droidbox.

Recently upgraded from the Droidbox T8-S to the T8-S Plus v2 and I'm extremely happy with purchase. This is my third Droidbox, having previously purchased two T8-S which never gave me any problems and are still being used to this day. One reason for sticking with Droidbox is the great after care service and previous experience of a great product. I chose to upgrade as I found less and less kodi community support for Jarvis. The T8-S Plus v2 uses Krypton and the box itself is a powerful and fast system that meets all my needs (and more). There are cheaper boxes available but quality and stability is usually very much compromised. There are much more expensive boxes available but, if the end experience is the same as what you already have, why pay twice as much? I have no hesitation recommending to all. Great product.

Hardware is of an excellent build. Installed an SSD drive in the box and it was a seamless integration. Managed to move all applications to the SSD.
Performance is good. Have not explored all its possibilities yet.

The T8-s plus v2 seems to be working fine up to now, after a couple of days use it suddenly froze and ram usage went up to 93%, since then everything is pretty good. Unfortunately the vip plus mini keyboard remote is a disappointment. The build quality is very flimsy and the cursor seems to move about by itself. I did adjust the speed in the settings but that just slowed it down, it's no fun using it. Then I had a problem turning the box off, it would turn off eventually but the ring stayed blue and I would have to shut it down manually. When I contacted support they said the remote was not supposed to shut down the box, strange has it had been working fine for first few days.Tried a day later and seems to be working again (confused). Anyway was about to return box to Amazon and dump the remote but have decided to give the box a few more weeks trial. Can't see me keeping the remote though, far too frustrating to use.

This box is the best as a family we all use it and it's on more than the normal tv and with the wife being Filipino she can watch all her Filipino programmes through a paid app she said it's better quality than in the Philippines
