My experience has been relatively poor. I’ve received three monthly subscription boxes and a ten pack from a sale this year. I have other air plants that had been perfectly healthy for the last year or more that I had them. I noticed that some of the air plants from this shop were turning black at the tips of the leaves and progressively dying. This spread to three of my original healthy plants, killing one of them so far and killing two of the ones I got from this shop.
Plus, the last box I received was clearly for Valentine’s Day. They spray painted the plants pink. I know from past experience that this cannot be washed off and will kill the painted leaves, which is all of them. Just to give it a shot, I tried to wash it off, but there’s no way to get it off without damaging the leaves even more.
Now, receiving the large air plants I can’t find in shops around me is cool. Some of them are sincerely pretty and healthy. It’s very frustrating, though, to have these kill off my hard work and to receive plants destined to die off.
Plus, the last box I received was clearly for Valentine’s Day. They spray painted the plants pink. We sincerely apologize for the issues you have encountered, including the deterioration of the plants, as well as the use of floral paint on the leaves. We do guarantee the health of our plants for 30 days once they are delivered. Shipping during winter can be hard on the plants, it sounds like yours may have been affected by the cold to turn black and decline so quickly. We're happy to replace the plants from your past three subscription boxes and include non-enhanced species from the February box. The floral spray that was used on these plants is safe and non-toxic and the plants can still grow, bloom, and pup with it on their leaves. Customer service is emailing you directly to arrange for replacements. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention, and we look forward to resolving this issue for you.

Plants arrived in good condition, one of the flowering plants unfortunately died recently. I’m not entirely sure what happened but I think it’s past due the 30 day guarantee. Anyhow I still plan to order in the future. Likely, I just need to be a bit more attentive on settling in new plants. .
