Love my little crab. She travels in a small net bag around my wrist and helps me to stay safe in the sea or river. I’ve had 2 others but sadly one was left in St Ives snd the last one lives in Ireland. Very accurate water temperature guide.

Baby Safety Proof Magnetic Cupboard Locks - 10 pack
Fitted a couple so far and had to add a batten to ensure catch was secure on cupboards under a sink. Not a major issue and they are working fine. The instructions and video make the fitting straight forward and have no concerns about fitting more as required.

I have had these for about 18 months now and have had no trouble with these. I have 20mm MDF doors on the cabinets and the provided key works well through this thickness. Unlike some other cabinet/drawer locks that I got, the little one has not figured out this one yet. One does need to be pretty careful during the installation because these locks are very unforgiving of install errors.

Great product, well supported by a great installation video. I would give this 5 stars, but fitting depends critically on how your cupboards and drawers work. For example, I needed to stick additional batons onto both the kitchen and bathroom sink cupboards to give enough support for the fixed part of the lock. This was not difficult but would not suit anyone who is not "handy" or does not have a saw, strong glue and suitable off-cuts of wood to hand.

Baby Safety Proof Magnetic Cupboard Locks - 10 pack
These cupboard locks are great, really easy to fit as the come with an applicator. They fit firmly and my strong 11 month old cant pull them off. The locks can be a bit tricky to open with the magnets but you get used to it eventually. I would reccomend these to friends.

My kitchen doors and draw fronts are fitted on a frame so there is a recess all around. The only way to make these fit is for me to put a strip of wood, the thickness of the door within the frame so that this can then be fitted. Annoying as there was no mention of this potential problem on the marketing!

The method they have for installation is great. Very clever - but thats where it ends. Despite cleaning, drying off and prepping the surfaces - were finding half of the locks just pull away when our toddler opens the doors. We then have to redo the whole surface again for sticking. Its a great idea when it works - half of our cupboards are secure - which is great (thankfully the dangerous ones). But we cant recommend the product sadly. Disappointing.

I found these easy to install, but you do need to make sure surfaces are flat. On better quality kitchen units, there tends to be a bezel against which the door closes which may be too thin to rely on the adhesive. I got round this by using screws to fix it but it's still a brilliant product.

I have very narrow stairs and this fitted perfectly could also go a bit narrower or quite a bit wider. Easy to follow instructions, no need to measure, has a paper gauge with screw markings. Very easy to open and close. Also easy to lift off if needed. All in all a very good safety gate at a reasonable price.
