Edit: I have struggled with stickiness but have since received some replacement parts and extra tips from the seller so cannot knock the service its been excellent so increasing star rating. I love the concept, theyre easy to install and lock/unlock easy enough. Unfortunately our 1 year old has managed to pull the cupboard open pulling the catch off so theyre not quite sticky enough and well have to screw it in.

Absolutely brilliant product, so easy to install and they work fantastically. My little one was constantly in our kitchen cupboards and drawers, wreaking havoc! Now I have these locks, I can have her in the kitchen with me without worrying she's going to get into the cleaning cupboard.

I started out frustrated and assumed our cupboards were too thick (2.8cm) but these are fabulous. In case it's useful, here's what I found helped: 1) Watch the video. I know it's obvious but it immediately makes it clear where to place/ position each piece to install. Takes 2min to watch, and 2min to install. 2) The "lock" and "unlock" settings are slightly counter-intuitive. You'd expect "lock" to be when the catch is firmly in place, and "unlock" when you can wobble the catch back and forth, but it's the other way around. We couldn't understand why, when we tested the magnet directly on the lock, it didn't snap into place to lock. That's because the act of using the magnet simply temporarily pulls back the catch. Which leads me to my next point... 3) Once installed, you have to hold the magnet over the lock and open the door at the same time. It doesn't "unlock" the cupboard so much as temprarily hold back the latch whilever the magnet is held in place. Once you get the hang of it, it's very straightforward. We have very thick cupboard doors and drawers and I just assumed they were too thick and the magnet was too weak. But it was a user error, thankfully (!) 4) The magnets are quite site-specific so the stickers are really handy - you have to align it just-so from the outside for the catch to open. Anyway, a fantastic, elegant solution. Much better than the plastic push-down child locks of the 80s where little fingers could still get trapped in an opening. Very discreet and easy to use, and a good temporary solution which means we'll be able to return the house to normal in a few (??) years time without drilling holes etc in our cupboards.

These are a really good idea but aren't quite perfect. The installation is really easy and the adhesion is strong. However the big problem is the magnet wasn't strong enough to effectively open the clasps and as very hit and miss. I ordered a strong magnet from ebay which now just sits on the magnetic 'key' permanently and it fixed the issue and these are now 5-star

The locks were perfect for my kitchen cupboards, I needed 34 locks in totally as we have a very big kitchen. They worked perfectly, easy to install and the adhesive is strong enough to keep little fingers out of the cupboards. Recommend them for anybody. Excellent product.

Really pleased with this excellent product. Easy to install using the nifty applicator although had to watch the video to see how to use it! The lock is completely hidden behind the door so not unsightly and the locking mechanism is secure. Particularly like that the lock can be disabled when not required.

I bought this thinking it will be easy to install. But this was super hard to install had to get the measurements right, I had to try so many times before I got the hook in the right place. After installing 2 of these I was exhausted so I stopped. My 1 year old opens all draws and cupboards and pull everything out. I must say though the glue on these ones are much stronger than my previous locks. But Unfortunately I'm back to square one and looking for other means/locks. If this product was easy to install I'd give 5/5

This is so slow, so inaccurate and so difficult to read that weve given up. We used a Phillips one for 3 years with our first and assumed this would be similar but I dont trust it at all. A very frustrating product

Great product to protect sharp corners of furniture. Bought for my elderly fathers flat as he fell out of bed and damaged his face against the sharp corner edge of his bedside cabinet. These are obviously ideal to protect children from such accidents but also very useful for the elderly and frail. They were easy to apply and stuck great first time, would highly recommend

A good quality product but made for thinner cupboard doors than our own. We were unable to use the item as the magnetic door openers strength was not great enough to open the latch.

Slow to respond and then temperature can jump quite significantly (eg 5-6oC) at once. A few times Ive been about to put my toddler in the bath and then the hot alarm has been triggered. Also dont like the fact that it doesnt display to 1 decimal place - 38.1oC can feel quite different to 38.9oC. Am going to replace.

The sticky pads arent strong enough, we have push to open cupboards which my daughter loves to kick, the locks would just pop off randomly and the cupboard opens, so we removed the push to open hinges, I then replaced the pads with the spares, I then tested the locks to see if she would be able to pull them open and they popped right off again, so Im now having to screw them in place which I didnt want to do, the reason of purchasing this product was that I didnt have to use screws. Also the applicator to apply the locks is actually quite fiddly and I found I had to bring the latch bit (the bit the lock hook grabs into) forward a bit so it overhung the front a little bit for it to work if I put it flush it wouldnt catch and lock wouldnt work. So all in all once Ive fiddled around and purchased and added screws they work even though the husband says he cant always get the lock to disengage without trying it a couple of times, wish I had looked around more at other options

Really pleased with the quality of the product. Installing can be a bit of trial and error, but the video link and instructions are really helpful. There is also spare adhesive strips, which you will probably need. All In all these are excellent value and quality.

Got recomend this product by a work friend. Absolutely love it. So easy to install, when you follow the instructions, (which I didn't at first lol). Once installed easy to use and completely child proof. (And adult proof if you forget about them). Would highly recommend this product to all people who are around babies/ toddlers.

Really impressed with the aycorn baby door locks they are easy to fit and they have strong adhesive and are easy to open with the key the installation video is a great help and the detailed manual I would definitely recommend

The product is easy to install but the part of the lock that sticks to the inside of the cupboard fell off after a couple of attempts by my baby to open it. I have had to screw it in place.
