We have a 19 month old baby that is into everything causing a lot of stress. So I ordered these locks and installed them in the cupboards within 10 minutes with no screws really quick and easy. Child now doesn't even bother trying to open them. Excellent product. Also we had an accident where my 8yo daughter locked the keys in the drawer and I had to pull a catch off. I had no replacement catch so I contacted the company to ask for a replacement instead of buying a new pack and they said no problem. Great customer service.

(Actually posted by Helena Mellows). It's not very often that you buy a product and can't find fault with it. These locks have transformed our week - our 17 month old twins are into everything. The kitchen drawers, DVD cupboard (yes we still have DVDs) and bathroom cabinet are all emptied on a thrice daily basis. Everything about these locks has been beautifully thought out from the lock itself - to the re-usable applicator to make life very straight forward - to the discreet little stickers that you use to indicate where to place your magnetic key. I LOVE them and am back to buy a second pack. Now Aycorn, could you please develop something to stop them climbing on chairs to get to my knives on the kitchen worktop...?

Great, quick and easy way to childproof kitchen cupboards. Arrived quickly, easy to install - handy stickers to tell you where to put the magnet to open the door. Excellent. Have only been using for a week or so - cant really comment on durability, especially as my 1 yr old hasnt tried to open them yet - but its great for my peace of mind that he cant get in.

I bought these to stop our inquisitive house cats getting into our eaves storage doors. It wasnt a safe place for them to get into and had to spend an hour rescuing one! I looked at all manor of locks for the doors but all would have looked ugly on the door fronts. We tried these as they fit purely on the back of the door so are invisible once fitted! They are superb! Fit the latch piece to the frame, they have very strong 3M tape fitted but also a packet of screws should you wish to be sure, and the mechanism to the door. Once fitted, simply hover the magnet over the front of the door which pulls the mechanism open on the back. So simple and so effective. These are designed for kitchen doors and drawers but they hold a 40x30 inch cupboard door secure with a cat doing all it can to get in. There is even a pack of stickers you can stick on the front inline with the mechanism on the back so you know where to hover the magnet. Took less than five minutes per door which included screwing them on. Absolutely brilliant!! 11/10!!

The video on the website helps with how to use best. The booklet didn't really make sense until watching the video. Easy enough to install and use. I have fitted to cupboard doors that have beveled edges but the locks work fine.

It does the job and it is very easy to install and secure kids will not be able to use it. however it might not fit everywhere as it is bulky. we fitted it to every door but it does not fit our drawers. We had to mark with stickers where we need to put the magnet as if you do not hit the spot the mechanism wont open, luckly our kids have not messed around with the stickers as it would be a bit of a nightmare. The other thing I found a bit annoying is that I am always chasing the magnet so make sure you leave it handy and that you can only use one hand for anything else, which I did not find very practical when you are cooking. Its a great idea but, there is plenty room for improvement and probably more practical things out there.

I think the AYCORN child safety locks are brilliant. They are ideal for us as the kitchen worktop has a big overhang that would make other types of lock difficult/impossible to use. It took me (not great at DIY) less than half an hour to fit locks to 10 kitchen units and drawers including working out how to use the them and where we wanted to locate them - I admit I had looked at a video on youtube before I bought them and that was quite helpful. Another bonus is that I've also been able to fit them to the wooden cupboards and tv unit in the room and to a floor level bathroom cupboard as well. They don't allow the door to open at all so there is no risk of trapped fingers which is great as the little one is still at the stage of pulling herself up using handles. The unlocked setting is great for when she is not in the kitchen and will be good when she gets a bit bigger as we'll be able to leave the safer cupboards unlocked and teach her the meaning of the word no! Obviously they've not been fitted long so I hope the "sticky" holds but if not then there are spares and also screws provided.

Really happy with this product, the sticky backs seem to work well and theres some spares if you mess up the installation. The little stickers you get to mark where to use the magnet are a good addition and look subtle on cupboard doors. One of my locks was faulty, I emailed the company and they sent me out a spare with some additional ones for the trouble. Great product, great company.

These locks are brilliant. The applicator is really helpful to get locks in the right place and easy to install if instructions followed. I have screwed the locks to inside of cupboard with screws provided as mixed reviews about adhesive so can't comment on how well the stick. I used these to replace my original locks and really like them as little ones can't catch there fingers at all as with some other locks. Thank you for a great product.

Reading the instructions can be a little confusing so I highly recommend following them in their online video. However, once you've done one you'll realise that they're extremely easy to fit! And honestly, so far they've been amazing. My LO has just turned one and she won't stop walking and grabbing so these have proven to be perfect so far. Cupboards are easy to open and she has no way of ever getting inside. Seriously, if you're looking to baby proof your home then get these.
