I worked with Alex in the hopes of getting into an MD program. I chose to work with a consultant because when I had applied by myself the previous year, I had been denied from all 16 programs that I had applied to without any interview invites even though I felt I had competitive experiences and a MCAT score above the averages for all the programs.
I chose Inspira Advantage for one main reason, they didn't treat me as just another customer to put into a preset program, but rather an individual with specific needs. I talked to several different companies before making my decision, but only Inspira asked me to send essays from my previous application and used it to prep for my intro meeting with my consultant. That hour-long meeting was followed up with a personalized project plan.
I began working directly with Alex about seven months before application deadlines. For the first couple of months, we worked on understanding my life story and how that fit into my goals for becoming a doctor. After that, we started narrowing down which programs would make sense for me to apply to and I eventually chose 25 schools. Though I gave myself seven months to work on my applications, Alex still helped me focus on what all needed to get done and I ended up spending time on most weeknights on my application and it definitely made a big difference in the end.
One area where Alex made the biggest difference was in my personal statement and essays. I went through at least 3 revisions of each documents. Alex's ability to let my voice shine through my applications while helping me sculpt my message was invaluable. He also set specific requirements for himself (feedback within 72 hours on anything I submitted to him for review) and stuck to it. One thing I especially appreciate in hindsight is that Alex never tried to make a decision for me (which schools to apply to, which life stories to use in my personal statement, etc), but rather helped by providing guidance on how to think through the problems and as a result become more intentional in my choices.
When I sent out my applications, I knew everything in my application--the written documents, recommendations, education, and AMCAS activities list, etc. "“ was leagues beyond what I had submitted the previous year. While I had personal advancements that played a factor in this, the largest change was working with Alex.
I ended up interviewing at 11 schools. I was then accepted into five MD programs. I simply could not have imagined this being a possibility after I had been rejected from 16 programs just a year earlier.
By the end of the med school application cycle, Alex became more than just a consultant. In fact, when I got the good news for my acceptances, he was the first person I contacted after my family to tell the good news.

Working with Nakia and Inspira was one of the best decisions I made while applying to medical school. Nakia came highly recommended by a friend, and I could tell that she was fully committed to my candidacy from the get-go. The Inspira model is vastly different from other admissions consultants'. I really appreciated the time spent on introspection early on, it helped me delve deep into who I am and what motivates me. Nakia provided plenty of additional resources to help me along the introspection process.
Over the course of my 25 applications, Nakia went above and beyond. She sometimes even used her personal network to help connect me to med school students with similar backgrounds to mine. Most importantly though, she was organised, patient and always available. The application journey is stressful (with many many moments of doubt and uncertainty), and Donna is the right person to have in your corner to navigate the process.
All in all, as an overrepresented candidate with a middling MCAT score, working with Nakia helped me gain an admit to four MD programs.

Hands down: Without Yash, I likely would not have gotten into med school. Yash was the single most important factor in molding my applications into truly personal pieces of storytelling.
Yash's vast experience in med school admissions helps him to carefully guide and review your personal statement and essay writing. He starts by going through your anecdotes and then illustrates ways to knit these into seamless, convincing stories of purpose and goals. Yash provides you a voice that is uniquely humble, genuine, and driven.
I really appreciated how direct Yash's comments were: There is no sugarcoating and his efficiency makes for an ultimately much better application. Yash is very reliable and his return times are incredibly short "“ he often came back to me within 2 hours of sending a draft.

I had a really positive experience with Inspira admissions consultants. One of the key aspects was the availability of multiple experts to engage with throughout the process, including folks on the student success team. This added level of expertise and diverse perspectives enhanced guidance received and Inspira made sure to introduce me to an expert on their team that had experience with my target schools. I found Inspira to be flexible and accommodating, making their services not only valuable but also affordable. If you're seeking a dedicated team that genuinely invests in your success, I would definitely recommend considering Inspira for your admissions consulting needs.

The brainstorming sessions with Carmen were wonderful. She was able to bring out so many life experiences from my side to add to the application that I could not have imagined. I was happy with my results and would recommend her. Thanks a lot Carmen!

I can fully and whole heartedly recommend Inspira Advantage, and Emily Keily. From the moment I engaged them, I was impressed by their professionalism, experience, responsiveness, and engagement with me and my goals. Emily was available to review updates to my personal statement, secondaries, and other application documents at a moment's notice. Her reviews and comments were insightful and targeted towards the requirements of the admissions committee at the school I was applying to.
With their help I was able to put forward the best version of myself, and present the elements of my professional life to the admissions committee that they wanted to see. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is applying to med schools.

Aanika was incredible throughout the entire process, from start to finish. She was a fantastic professional resource, helping me with my essays, positioning, personal narrative, and interviews. She is very detail oriented and client focused, tailoring all of her recommendations specifically to me, my background, and the schools I was applying to. Aanika was also a fantastic personal resource, keeping me upbeat and positive throughout a very difficult and arduous admissions process. Ultimately it ended in success and much of that is thanks to working with Aanika. I would not hesitate to recommend her to any of my friends, personal contacts, or anyone looking for help when applying to med school.

I was accepted into UCSF, Robert Wood Johnson, and Columbia Vagelos. I contacted Inspira four weeks AMCAS opened, debating whether or not it would be feasible for me to apply. I had somewhat of a nontraditional background and was unsure I'd get in. However, within three weeks, my counselor, Dr. Jotwani completely revamped my application. On an extremely tight schedule, we went through various rounds of edits. Dr. Jotwani made my experiences and activities list med school friendly, edited my personal statement and essays to highlight the ways in which my skills could be applied to a med school setting, and coached me on my interview. Dr. Jotwani was extremely detail-oriented, working through every single aspect of the application and helping me to craft a cohesive and compelling narrative that stayed true to myself while also signaling certain requirements to the admissions committee. I would not have gotten into the program without Dr. Jotwani's help, and am so glad I reached out to him! I'm indebted!

Shriya was there for me every step of the way, pushed me to get the best out of me, gave me tough love when needed, motivated me and cheered for my success at every turn ! Shriya did not accept anything less than extraordinary from me on any essay, resume or application requirement. Let me repeat this again, " Shriya did not accept anything less than extraordinary from me ! " she guided me with her deep experience to get me there. Her attention to detail is mind blowing.
The interview prep (esp. MMI) process was very thoughtful and tailored. Shriya gave me feedback and pointers to improve before every interview. We even had multiple sessions as needed. I truly feel we travelled a fantastic journey together.
If you're reading this review, let me tell you this, it might be hard for you to truly hear a person you've never met. Stop your search and place your faith with Shriya ! This will be one of the best decisions you make, which will transform your life. I am in awe of Shriya and her team. Today Shriya is more than a consultant who worked with me, she is my close friend. I never imagined I would be accepted to not one, but two top 10 MD programs.

Nakia is a fantastic resource to anyone seeking guidance and support in their med school application journey. With her expertise, dedication, and personalized approach, Nakia helped me secure an offer from three MD programs despite a below average GPA and test scores for those schools.
Throughout the admissions process, which can be more akin to a marathon than a sprint, Nakia helped me create a strategy of regular communication with admissions committees and constantly developing areas of my application that may be viewed as weaknesses. The right strategy will elevate your candidacy above any one grade or score, and through consistent effort and willingness to improve your profile, you will stand out.
To anyone who believes that the right school is out of reach for them, I strongly recommend Nakia and the team at Inspira as partners in the med school admissions process. Nakia stuck with me throughout the application cycle and I couldn't be happier with the result!

I highly recommend Benjamin and Inspira to anyone aspiring to get into an MD program. Thanks to his guidance and expertise, I was admitted to UCLA. Benjamin's assistance went beyond navigating the Inspira process; he provided invaluable insights into what I truly wanted out of life and med school. Overall, Benjamin's guidance and expertise were crucial to my success in the admissions process.

Before Susmita was recommended to me through a friend, I was hesitant about med school consultants. Not after I met Susmita! We connected instantly and I loved her authentic self. I valued her experiences and opinions and most importantly, I trusted that she had my best interest at heart. She helped me stay on track with my essays and applications. Most importantly, this process is wonderfully designed to discover yourself and Inspira has just the right team to make that happen. I was happy that through my stories and experiences, Susmita helped me see a version of myself that I didn't see before. This eventually helped me got into my dream med school, UCSF! I would highly recommend Susmita and her team at Inspira! Interview prep and offer negotiation guidance were also extremely helpful!

I highly recommend private tutoring with Philip. After scoring 507 on my first attempt I signed up for 40 hours of 1:1 private tutoring with Philip and retook the MCAT after a few months. On my second attempt, I accomplished my goal and scored 521. Philip helped identify strengths/weaknesses and targeted strategic areas for improvement to help me raise my score in a short amount of time. In the tutoring sessions, Philip coached me on content as well as strategy and I felt well-prepared during my second MCAT attempt. Could not have achieved the score I was hoping for as quickly as I was able to without Philip's help. I highly recommend using Joshua regardless of where you stand in your studies. He will help set goals and provide useful insights that will help you accomplish those goals.

I feel fortunate and grateful to have had Aryaman by my side on my med school application journey, and I recommend him 100%. Aryaman will be sincerely interested in your story; he will carefully listen to you; he will push you to travel deep into your past and to take the time to seriously reflect on your career ambition in connection with your core. Once he knows you well, he will bring his expertise to guide you step by step. At the end, not only will you have very solid application materials, but also will you walk away from your collaboration with him with a better understanding of yourself, having experienced personal growth along the way. Then you will have won for your whole life, no matter where you end up. That's my case.

In light of my average GPA and a below-median MCAT score, my expectations were not high that I would be accepted into a top med school. Just to have a chance of acceptance, I needed an expert like Kenyon who could help me craft my strengths, top accomplishments, and best leadership stories into a cohesive and compelling application. Kenyon helped me sharpen my career goals, worked with me on the best essay strategy, advised me on how to get incredible results from my recommenders, and coached me through a mock interview. I say with complete confidence that if it hadn't been for Kenyon, then I would have not been given a full ride at an MD/PhD program!!!!

My experience with Anna has been amazing and was a game-changer in my applications.
I do not have the best raw stats, but I felt I had a good background and story for wanting to do an med school. Anna helped me visualize and translate that story into something tangible that admission officers could understand. She worked closely with me to understand my goals post-med school and long-term while working with my previous experience to understand how to best convey my unique message to admission committees. Working with Anna and Inspira helped my story come to life and enhance my application to get me to several interviews and acceptances.
The med school process is complicated and there are many little details that go unnoticed by the typical person that may be going through the process alone. It makes a significant difference having a trusted advisor guiding you along the way. Working with Anna for several months, I felt much more confident and prepared in my applications, interviews, and communications with admission officers. One unique differentiator about Inspira is that you are able to work with several different people across their entire team (e.g. certain interviews with schools you can prep with another admissions consultant that has specific expertise with that particular program).
I highly recommend Anna for anyone throughout the med school application cycle!

Maddy's online tutoring provided a great mix of live instruction and practice problems to be the foundation for my MCAT study journey. Maddy is clearly an experienced MCAT instructor and can teach all sections of the MCAT really well. She also is very good at explaining topics in simple terms and provides a number of effective strategies and frameworks to use to attack every type of question on the MCAT, as well as overall test-taking strategies such as time management and when to guess, both of which are critical to succeed on the MCAT. She is very engaged and patient at all times.
I did the 60 hour program with Maddy as I was preparing to take the MCAT for the second time, and she created an individualized study plan for me and shared additional resources to target my areas for improvement. This study plan was very helpful to follow between my first and second MCAT test dates, and helped me improve my overall score by 17 points in just over 2 months.
I highly recommend taking your MCAT prep course with Maddy!
