I highly recommend Inspira Futures who I had the pleasure working with over my application process. My consultant made it very seamless and streamlined during a very hectic time in my life. We set up times to talk which lasted anywhere from 20 minutes to 45 minutes which were very thorough and detailed. Her response time and comments on resumes, cover letters, and general questions were prompt and concise. The scheduling of phone calls was also very convenient. I engaged Inspira Futures for the R1 MBA cycle. They were flexible enough to allow me to defer to the next application season if I, together with my counselor, felt that it would be in my best interest to do so because of my relatively low GMAT score. I couldn't get my score up in time to apply and decided to defer to the next season. I originally heard about Kyndall through a few friends / former colleagues who had worked with her in recent years and absolutely raved about her. In turn, I came into the process with high expectations, which Kyndall fully exceeded in every possible way.

I remember in our first meeting feeling as if Kyndall immediately got me.This continued during our brainstorming sessions, and I ultimately felt as if Kyndall knew me better than I knew myself. I came into the process thinking I was a competitive but terribly traditional applicant, but Kyndall constantly pushed me to reflect deeper about my experiences, why they were important to me, and how they have shaped who I am as a person. I tried applying to schools on my own first. Despite an extremely high GMAT score and good work experience I only got two interviews, and I struck out at all 6 places I applied. I didn't even get waitlisted anywhere. For my second year of applications, I decided to get help. After talking to multiple consultants and feeling less than thrilled about their pitches (most were obviously just after my money) I talked to Julie at Inspira Futures. She was more engaged than anyone else, and most importantly she seemed to genuinely want to help me. Long story short, I ended up working with Inspira and getting interviews at 4 of 5 places Gabriel helped me apply to. I was accepted at two schools (one with a decent scholarship), and waitlisted at one. I also tried applying to one additional school on my own and did not even get an interview. This means that out of 12 schools, I was only admitted to those Gabriel helped me apply to, and Gabriel was involved in getting 4 of 6 interviews. Note that since he only helped me apply to 5 places I got interviews 80% of the time with him and 28% of the time on my own. My last comment is about what you should and should not expect from Gabriel. He is not a magic genie who will instantly grant acceptance to your top school. He will not write anything for you. He will not tell you what you want to do in the future. What Gabriel will do is relentlessly critique your essays. He will push you HARD to fully distill what you are trying to say, and he will pull no punches while doing it. If you are six drafts into your essay and it just isn't there, he will tell you that you need to start over. At times it will suck, but as long as you continue to push yourself Gabriel will help unearth the best version of yourself in your final applications. I am extremely glad that I worked with Gabriel, and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

After using another consulting company, I felt that I still didn't have a sense of how to make my application stand out for ME. The team at Inspira Futures took the time to talk through my experiences and goals to understand what would make me a unique candidate and to highlight that in the application. To start, Inspira Futures was a critical component of my MBA application process. Without their help, I do not think I would have put forth nearly as strong of an application and ultimately would not have had the acceptances I received.

I came to Inspira Futures as a re-applicant. They first helped with a complete evaluation and worked with me to reposition my profile. Following this, I primarily worked with my consultant on my essays and then on interview prep. I would highly recommend the profile development services offered. I'm a fairly organized person but I know that having some external accountability and guidance is valuable which is why this service appealed to me. The great thing about Inspira Futures is that they have a comprehensive framework that they guide prospective applicants through so that you know there isn't anything you are forgetting in terms of making sure you're presenting a well rounded self to admissions committees. This is a worthy investment and a great way to make sure you get yourself ready to apply to grad school. Your advisor will check in with you occasionally and you'll get an updated document from them showing what you've done and what you're working on by the next time you connect. If nothing else, you will be much more confident in yourself going into your applications.
