I starting working with Inspira Futures about one month before the application deadline. I had started filling out the application on my own but quickly realized that I needed some expert guidance to put my best application forward. My advice -- don't waste time trying to do it on your own -- just get started from the get-go with one of Inspira Futures' expert consultants.
My consultant took the time upfront to understand my work and academic experiences. At the start, I couldn't clearly articulate "Why MBA?" but she did a great job of helping me craft a concise and accurate story. Revamping the resume from a traditional one to a b-school one was a strong point for her, and she gave me a couple great ideas for the essay. She held me accountable to self-imposed deadlines, helped manage my stress and exceeded my overall expectations. She was super responsive, provided great feedback and ideas and used our time efficiently. This was a worthwhile experience and I would not have had nearly as strong an application without working with Inspira Futures.

Inspira Futures helped me with MBA applications earlier this year
.
It would be an understatement to say that it was an absolute pleasure to work with them. We worked together on 6 school package, but I believe I got all the attention I needed to make the best of my application.
My consultant was particularly helpful in reviewing my essays - specially in cutting out parts that added little value to my overall story, and challenging me to write with greater clarity and substance. I can say with certainty that she helped me improve my essays by leaps and bounds, and that I wouldn't have been able to do that without her guidance.
Even after the entire process was over, she has taken great interest in how I fared, across all my applications, and not simply the schools I worked with her on. She's also been available as a reliable sounding board for questions and ideas I've had, long after the process was over. I got acceptances at Tuck, Booth and Sloan.
Overall, I'd strongly recommend working with Inspira to anyone who is considering it.

I hired Inspira Futures to edit my R1 essays. My counselor did a great job. She not only made my essays crip but asked me to include certain details that would make the essays tight and more interesting. She also seeked advice from other consultants who are aligned to particular schools at Inspira Futures and gave me invaluable advice . There was a drastic difference between my draft essays and the final product. Amazing service for a great value!!

As someone who is not a naturally strong story teller or writer, I knew I could use some outside help on both starting and crafting my business school story. My consultant at Inspira Futures did a fantastic job asking me questions in the beginning to help me narrow down what I should focus on in my essays. I initially hesitated to use a consultant out of fear that I would just receive generic feedback. But each time I went through an iteration with her, she provided honest, actionable, and specific feedback that I could use to better craft my story. I purchased an hourly package, and I would highly recommend them to anyone to anyone looking for help on their essays regardless of where they are in the process as it really helped me secured admit to Wharton.

Inspira Futures provided an excellent service which ensured that I got accepted to the school of my choosing (LBS) while minimizing friction in the process. LBS was the only school I chose to apply to hence our collaboration was fully geared towards LBS adcom requirements.
My consultant that I was matched with was a very insightful person with a very clear perspective on how the admission process should be run in order to be successful - clear sign of experience / expertise. While ensuring a super pleasant dialogue, she will know when to challenge the status quo and push to hit milestones. She was very structured and managed the timeline very well, which was the most important contribution that I was looking for.
Being a good consultant, she kicked off the advisory relationship with in-depth interviews. She provided a very tailored set of objectives / milestones for me to hit to really improve my profile before applying. Networking with past / current students was one important avenue that I explored thanks to her advice.
I recommend Inspira Futures full-heartedly because of a very high level of professionalism, result-driven approach as well as supportive culture (for those tough moments where you will inevitably worry too much about your GMAT score, essay, etc).

I worked with Paolo of Inspira Futures on 4 applications for Round 1.
I ultimately chose to work with them over other more larger firms because he showed a dedication and focus to a very personalized experience. This was proved out during our work together.
We started late, but he proved an excellent resource for distilling my non-traditional story into an application that would prove compelling to adcomms.
He was incredibly thorough in his analysis of my materials, providing feedback that enabled me to develop materials that were authentically mine, but still ensured I hit the many benchmarks of a successful application.
I'm a crunchtime worker and had a chaotic work/travel schedule, but he made a point of making availability at odd hours and for often tight turnarounds-- it was a level of dedication that made me feel that she was thoroughly invested in my success.
I was accepted to two schools - HBS and MIT Sloan with scholarship offers from both.
I'm pleased with my experience and the results of working with Paolo. I would highly recommend working with him to future applicants-- my only advice is start working with him sooner and don't wait.

In light of my average GPA and a below-median GMAT score, my expectations were not high that I would be accepted into a top business school. Just to have a chance of acceptance, I needed an expert like Inspira Futures who could help me craft my strengths, top accomplishments, and best leadership stories into a cohesive and compelling application. My counselor helped me sharpen my career goals, worked with me on the best essay strategy, advised me on how to get incredible results from my recommenders, and coached me through a mock interview. I say with complete confidence that if it hadn't been for him, then I would have not been given a full scholarship to Haas!!!!

I worked with Inspira Futures on four separate school applications to top-5 programs. I was admitted into two schools - Wharton and Tuck, both of which offered scholarships, and I have no doubt that Inspira Futures' understanding of the nuances of business school admissions was what earned me those scholarships. For starters, I consider Inspira's services one of the greatest investments I have ever made.
However, I gained much more from working with my counselor than admission and scholarship money. He was exceptionally sharp, and one of his most valuable abilities is to piece together experiences that you share with him to paint a complete picture. He was so good at doing this that I can almost guarantee that you will learn something about yourself by working with him that you didn't know before. Maybe you hadn't connected the dots, maybe you hadn't thought about your own experiences from someone else's perspective, or maybe you had forgotten things. He helped me perform a performance review of my life, and I emerged much more knowledgeable about who I am and what I am good at. This is the real goldmine that will help take me where I want to go. Admittance is only the beginning.
I have already recommended Inspira Futures to several friends, and I urge everyone to consider hiring Inspira Futures. The service could pay for itself many times over, and you will emerge from the experience more knowledgeable about yourself.

Starting off, I knew I wanted to work with a consultant because I wanted someone to help keep me on track while I balanced a busy job (I do consulting) and my extracurricular commitments. My initial search process started off with the free 30-min consultations with the larger brand names. I realized that I wanted more personalized attention and that the quality of the experience varied based on which consultant you worked with when signing on with a larger group. Eventually, I found Inspira Futures through a friend and the fact that I would get his personalized attention throughout the process.
I worked with Alec on 5 applications. He was extremely helpful when it came to outlining an essay response, getting my main points across, and finding ways for me to stand out among the sea of other male consultants in the MBA application pool. I felt that Alec took the time to read through my drafts, which he sent back usually within 1-2 business days. We finished the 5 applications with 2-3 weeks to go before the deadline. I then used material from those 5 schools to do 2 other schools on my own, mostly to save money. I would recommend the same to others if money is an issue, but you still want to make the most out of a consultant.
Beyond essays, the package does include interview prep. Overall, I felt like that was less useful than the essay help was. I say that because the nature of interviews can get pretty subjective. Alec does have personalized interview guides for each school (2-3 pages), but most of the information can be found online or from current students. Regardless, it was nice to practice interviews with people who had either interviewed at the school themselves or gone to the program. I also supplemented my interview practice with current students/alumni who I had known through undergrad or work.
Finally, I just want to say that Alec cares about each of his clients! He called to congratulate me when he heard I got into Booth and Fuqua and was there to comfort me when a got dinged at a few others. Looking back, there is nobody else I would have rather worked with to help me through this process!

I will begin by saying that I was accepted into each of the six schools to which I applied including Stanford, Harvard and Wharton. I was apprehensive about using an admissions consultant because of the cost and what I perceived as an impersonal formulaic approach.
For months I worked with my advisor, to dig deeper on my story and career goals. It was not an easy process. I worried about my narrative not being good enough, I cried when sharing personal stories and I spent a significant amount of time reworking my essays. During this entire period both he was there every step of the way, providing thoughtful feedback and getting back to me quickly so we could meet deadlines. His advice and structured process was invaluable to ensuring I met deadlines for school applications and felt confident when hitting submit.
Ultimately, as I stated initially, I was accepted into all of the schools to which I applied. I received a $75,000 scholarship to Kellogg and $95,000 fellowship to Wharton. Schools were interested in me due to the strength of the applications that Inspira Futures helped me to hone despite my lower than average GMAT score. I am overjoyed to say that I will be attending my dream business school, Stanford, in the fall!
If you're considering Inspira, do it! There is no better investment you can make in yourself and the process of getting into the business school that best fits you.

It was easy to work with my consultant from Inspira Futures to refine my story. She did great work on both the broader strokes as well as the nitty gritty of grammer editing, etc. In particular her help with my resume I believe was key in getting into all the schools that I applied to. She was quick to respond and available both via email or phone, though I opted for email most of the time. When she didn't have the perfect answer she was willing to reach out to the rest of the Inspira Futures staff to get it in a timely manner. Would not hesitate to recommend her to others who are struggling with their MBA story.

The luckiest thing during the whole application process is to have Raquel as my tour guide as well as cheerleader!
My background doesn't look impressive: non-top university graduated, engineering major, low GPA, over-represented Chinese, 8-year non-for-profit work experience, not much international experience. I didn't really know which levels of school I should target at and how to make a case of myself to get in.
But Raquel has her way to lighten me up. After we first talked in April, I had a clearer way of how to start. I spent nearly a month to fill in a very detailed questionnaire which helped me review my past experience and find out the special stories that I can tell.
Raquel is also outstanding in controlling the schedule. Even before the application essay questions were released, she advised me how to prepare such as researching through the program websites to identify the unique resources and culture, joining webinar or offline events in the city near me, and reaching out to current students, alumni and admission officers to obtain more information and leave a good impression. All of this effort contributed a significant part in writing a relevant and touching essay for the programs I applied to.
Another amazing thing is that Raquel is a seasoned professional with solid experience in both consulting and corporate. She could provide sharp insight on my career goal, pointing out the logical weakness of my appeal as well as adding her own experience to enrich my goal essay.
Besides, sometimes you need your friend to tell you your advantages that you are not aware of. Raquel is such a friend in the application process. She can help you find out your uniqueness and guide you to tell the story in a more fascinating way. This process actually helped me to build confidence. On the other hand, she is also very honest. She can tell the weaknesses of my essay directly and encourage me to rework. That is important because I can feel she really wants me to work out an excellent one instead of an okay one.
More importantly, as a Chinese (non-native English speaking) applicant, I found it extremely useful to have a US-local consultant to mock interview. And you can also practice the conversation during every meeting and learn the right way to express the idea. Plus, Raquel also provided with me my different school's latest information because they do work as a team in Inspira Futures and exchange a lot to help applicants.
At last, with Raquel's great help, I got an offer with scholarship from Duke and Haas! I think Raquel is the very person I should thank as she did help a lot in bringing me such a wonderful result!

I considered a number of consultants prior to partnering with Inspira Futures. From our first conversation it was clear that Inspira Futures is a firm who genuinely cares about its clients' success and has the skill set to push them to deliver the best and most genuine stories about themselves. I knew that I would need to deliver a refined narrative on my application to find success given that I came from a non-traditional background without a well-known employer on my resume.
What I especially appreciate is that my counselor do not impose his idea of what the perfect story is for you, but challenge you to figure it out yourself. This is valuable not only for the application and admissions interviews but also for future career discussions. I was able to authentically and articulately convey my story to other students and admissions staff.
He was also accommodating to my tight timeline. We completed the entire process in just a few short weeks. He was very responsive to my questions and ready to talk at any time. I strongly recommend Inspira Futures to anyone who is looking for an MBA consulting team.

After applying on my own the previous year with unfavorable outcomes, I decided to do some research into business school admissions consultants. When I reached out to Inspira Futures, Julie spent a good hour on the phone with me, explaining their process and methodology but also hearing about what I wanted to do and my career thus far. She even looked over my materials from the year before and provided critique. I decided to engage Inspira and was paired with Raquel, who advised me on my strategy and spent time with me on all the pieces of the application process. We spent a lot of time on my resume and on my essays, crafting the right story based on my wants and needs. Raquel was very patient with me and helped keep me on schedule so it was nice that I wasn't rushing to check boxes before a deadline. I'm very glad that I worked with Inspira because at the end of the day, I was accepted to all five schools that I had applied to - Wharton, Booth, Kellogg, Tuck and Fuqua.

Inspira team is absolutely fabulous! They have changed the consultant-client equation to a more friendly mentor-student relationship. This is important because after all you are applying to become a student! This helped me recollect and share a lot of my life stories that eventually led to a strong application. My consultant was very focused throughout the process and constantly questioned how the Adcom would perceive the application. With years of experience, she's a master at critiquing essays and helped me write simple short stories with high impact. Most importantly, she was quick in turning any feedback and was there on the phone when most needed. I would highly recommend Inspira to anyone applying to business school.

I had a fantastic experience working with my Inspira team and was accepted at HBS, Wharton and Booth.
Highlights from my experience:
- Greatly appreciated her turnaround time and detailed feedback on my essay drafts, and any questions I had. Due to work demands I often didn't have as long a lead time as suggested, but she still managed to review my work under tight timelines and provided clear suggestions that I really think notably improved my story / overall application
- One time I had an urgent question late at night and she made herself available immediately at 10pm to speak on the phone with me - that's how helpful she was
- Most memorable part was how kind, thoughtful and funny she was - it felt like I was talking with a friend, she'd been through the process herself. E.g., when it came to interview prep, she helped identify subtle gesture and wording changes I should work on to strike the right impression
Consultants may not be for everyone - I do have friends successful in their admissions process who only asked for advice and essay reviews from family, friends and bosses, but for me, it was definitely worth it to have professionals as a sounding board as it removed a significant amount of stress and uncertainty from the process. I would highly recommend Inspira Futures.
