The functionality of this bag with removable arms is great but the coloured section across the upper body / torso is only thin cotton and not 2.5 tog. My little ones chest and shoulders were quite cool too touch (despite wearing a merino sleep suit underneath) while lower body / feet in the quilted section were warmer.

Thank you for your valued feedback. We have used a lighter fabric in this section as it helps bubs regulate their overall body temperatures while they sleep. A full quilted Sleep Bag could pose an over heating risk.

Perfect transition from the 50/50 if i had another baby I would skip the 50/50 altogether, we live in tropical climate wet season get into the 40s absolutely perfect thin breathable only down side zip is annoying with a wriggly Bub but great for nappy changes when your half asleep in the wee hours of the morn, she loves it another fantastic product I am interested to see how long the fabric holds out

I was tired of swaddling my baby each night, particularly after a 3am feed. Trying to re-swaddle in the bed in the dark often let to an improper swaddle that he would continually break free from.
