ProMaster Lowered Base

ProMaster Lowered Seat Base fits Driver and Passenger Side
I think one significant improvement for ProMaster vans would be a 6-way powered seat. This would allow it to adjust to all sizes of drivers. I've even heard people say they bought a Sprinter or Transit because of this issue. Since that seat isn't available, I've found the 1.57 inch lowered base from Sportscraft, is a good alternate (no affiliation). I'm 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a long torso. After installing the seat, the view out the windshield is outstanding! It's hard to believe an inch and a half makes such a big difference! It is also easier to see the speedometer. What's surprising is this lowered base is also helpful for shorter people, since your feet can now be flat on the floor. This base is made to have a seat swivel on top, but I just mounted it without the swivel because I wanted a lowered seat.

I couldn’t give 5 stars yet I haven’t driven on the interstate yet. But what I noticed as soon as I drove it was the smoothness of the ride especially on the road I was on it’s like there is no more chatter with the front tires also the left right pitch coming out of a drive seems better also.

2001 - 2006 Sprinter Heavy Duty Front Driver Seat Swivel Adapter
Finally broke down & grabbed a swivel (only driver side was in stock) for my 2003 Freightliner 2500. Install directions were a bit strange but after looking through hardware & pieces, I got it together in about 30 minutes, including prep and clean-up.
Just returned from a 1,600 mile trip and am very pleased with this product - no squeaks or jiggling around while driving. Swivel function is easy, just a bit tight when spinning - I'm 6'3" & the seat must be moved to nearly its forward-most position to avoid hitting the driver door.
