Great experience. Glad that there is an option to create CSR. Now I don't need to go through the hassle to look for IIS server or use OpenSSL to generate my CSR.

I registered a new admin email account for thedevelopmentmine.co.nz because this appeared to be a requirement. I even queried your chat service and was told that this was the case. On completing this, and coming back to upgrade the certificate, you have now provided the owner email from the whois details as an option. This wasn't there when I first tried. I'm not at all impressed. You have effectively doubled the cost of the certificate for no good reason!

Hi Chris, ouch - one star! It's a requirement by the Certificate Authorities to validate your order and prove your identity before the SSL Certificate is issued. The Certificate Authority is the one who decides if you can use the WHOIS e-mail address or a generic e-mail address. On occasion the WHOIS e-mail address is not available for use - this could be for many reasons and is at the discretion of the Certificate Authority (not us, but looks like we have got 1 star from you anyway). I am confused as to the cost has been doubled as a result of not being able to choose a generic Approver E-Mail? Perhaps you should discuss with your hosting company about creating a free e-mail alias which would avoid the hassles in the future. Our customer service team has also replied back to you to offer further assistance with information on your issue.
