Tree arrived nicely packaged and protected. Removed tree from box and removed wrapping on toot ball. Placed tree in pot with fresh potting soil until it can be planted in the ground. Watered tree, etc.
Leaves on tree are wilting and falling off and don't know why.
Can you help?

So far this plant looks healthy and just starting to leave dormancy. This had a good amount of roots and a longer stem than expected, which was nice. Packed well.
