Received plants promptly, and they appear to be in healthy condition. We have not previously purchased bare root plants, but we planted immediately in accordance with instructions. If they live, excellent value.

Tree arrived in good condition, with many leaves. It is larger than expected, a nice surprise! Good value, if it lives.

Tree arrived in seemingly good condition, and was well packaged. We have little experience with bare root trees, but are giving it lots of attention.

Two trees came in overall good shape, fair root system attached and several limbs with live leaves. Have planted both of them and waiting to see how they do, so far they appear to be doing ok even though we are having weather in the 90's here in this area of Texas. (Bandera) Anxious to get some fruit in a year or so. Customer service was good. (year later. . one tree survived, one did not) Have been promised a refund. Refund received in full. . . thanks TyTy

Had small root system with a few smaller feeder roots and several limbs with live green leaves. Have been having hot weather in the 90's here but so far after a week it looks ok. Am pouring the water to these trees I bought ever day. I bought 8 persimmon trees total. So far so good. Customer service was good. (1 year later: tree did not live, am trying to get refund as 5 of 8 trees did not survive. Full refund was issued, thanks.

This tree was small, 3' to 4' and had most of it's roots gone with the exception of the larger ones that were cut real short. I hope it survives as it has no leaves and is still dormant. I am pouring the water to it and hoping it survives and makes it. I think they cut way too many roots off this little guy. Time will tell. Customer service was good. 1 year later and plant is doing just fine, he's grown close to a foot and looks very healthy. Thanks TyTy

Received my plants (I ordered 2 clumps) very fast and they were packed very nicely. I’m giving four stars due to one clump doesn’t look very healthy and part of it broke off. I still planted it and hope it will be ok. Only time will tell.

Buy Chinese Chestnut Trees Online at Ty Ty Nursery
Ordered three Chinese Chestnuts and the order arrived super fast. We had a lot of rain and I couldn't get the tree's in the ground as quickly as I had hoped. I ended up putting them in a plastic dish pan on their side, covered the roots with moist potting soil and kept them in a cool dark place. I was worried because I had them that way for almost three weeks. But after about three weeks in the ground, two are starting to bud and the third looks like its getting ready. So, so far so good. I read the negative feedback, but I guess you cant please everybody all of the time. I waited a while to write a review to be sure things would work out, but it was a great experience with TyTy for me.
