This was one of two Medlar trees I received. Both came in excellent shape, bare-root, but fully leaved out. They were planted immediately and established quickly, hydrating within a couple of days.

Buy Black Beauty Seedling Mulberry Trees Online at Ty Ty Nursery
I left my review for this under Bacchus Noir Mulberry. But exactly the same experience with Bacchus Noir tree, which is now a very nice tree, however, after pruning all the flowers that came out of it are MALE. Perhaps it is too young still (only 2nd year on ground). Loaded with catkins, but all MALE just like the Black Beauty. I will wait until next year (3rd yr on ground), maybe it's too young still as a tree, and see if it produces fruits next year. It is a beautiful tree, but I can't have it if it does not fruit. I will change the review to five stars if it does.

Mulberry tree is now second year on ground. I pruned it heavily during winter. When it leafed out, it produced lots of catkins, but all are male. The catkins are waning (almost all gone, no fruit) and now the top is growing bigger green leaves (the plant has small leaves all throughout). It is a very healthy plant. I am concerned that it may be a MALE TREE, but I read that Black Beauty is monoecious, meaning can have both male and female flowers on same tree. Maybe the pruning forced it to flower early and, hence, all male. It was a seedling. So I will wait until next year, maybe it will give me fruit (female catkins) next year. Then I will change this review to five stars.

Same as the other pomegranate - I wasn't sure it survived the winter, it looked all dead, but now it's covered in tiny red leaves.
