Musa Basjoo Banana Plants... meh.

First time ordering from this company - initial impression is that the plants don't look all that healthy, lots of dead brown leaves, but the roots appear good. No option in review to show images.
Description said 3 gallon plants, but all shipped bareroot, so I guess they would have been in a 3 gal pot initially.
1 Year warranty is good, however TyTy states these are for zone 7-11, but if you buy them locally at the nursery, they are listed to be grown in hardiness zones 5-11. Now I see that TyTy will likely not honor their warranty as these were delivered to zone 5b. Fingers crossed this will not be needed. Is it a warranty if you exclude zones that are shown to support growing of a particular plant?
"This banana is considered winter hardy to USDA Zones 5-10 because the roots, if well mulched, will survive winter temperatures of -10°F." -- Missouri Botanical Garden
Used Mycorrhizal fungi when planting.
