Not real sure why it was shipped in the middle of winter. Worried about making it live in a pot until I can plant in Spring. Haven't had much luck with trees ordered here. We'll see.

Had a little trouble having them release the trees with consent (about 3 weeks) but once they arrived the taproot was about 1 and a 1/2 feet on a 6 foot tree. Overall pleased with the purchase. Ordered quince trees for spring delivery can't wait for the ground to thaw and put them in.
