Both champagne plants were tiny in size compared to the merlot plants. They look like chop sticks in thickness with very little root system, but they looked healthy, so I went ahead and planted them.

Awesome, they were big and the truck sizes where about 3/4" with excellent root systems. I'm very pleased.

Will it make it? Time will tell. All the basics were certainly provided. Good wrapping, healthy looking roots. No buds as of yet. Was hoping for a taller tree, but hopefully this one will take off and I will be sharing apricots with my happy neighbors.
