Buy Kalamata Olive Trees Online at Ty Ty Nursery
Both kalamata olive trees came in fair condition, which I was previously worried about due to some reviews saying that trees came in poor condition. One kalamata is doing very good, and the other is basically just surviving as best as it can. Usually the larger they are the more resilient, so I'm confident that at least one will do okay in the hot/ humid Houston climate.

I waited a year to write this review so that I could show if the tree was going to thrive. The 6' tree came boxed without any issues. We purchased the transplant mix and fertilizer. I didnt expect the tree to make it because it was so scrawny. We watered the tree weekly over the spring when we didn't get any rain and then left it alone. I have not fertilized the tree any more since the 1st planting. I am planning to fertilize now just to keep it growing nicely. The color is so vibrant and its not fully bloomed yet. We are in NC for reference.

Trees arrived dead

I would not purchase from this company again. Ordered 3 trees. Two of the three trees arrived looking dead. I planted them waiting for them to come out of their "dormancy" but as I expected nothing happened and they still remained dead. Sent the scratch photos in to show they were dead. I asked for replacement trees they would not replace. Instead they only gave my about 1/2 the amount in credit it would cost to replace the trees. Save your money and go else where. I would have been less upset if the trees were sent alive and well and they happened to die but the came looking dead and did not do anything all summer. So I feel ripped off I was shipped dead trees since the beginning and they will not even replace them.

I ordered 4’ trees. What I got was 6’ trees cut down to fit in the 4’ box. By cutting off the top they have removed the main leader and the tree will never grow to a good shape.
They make it clear they sell bare root trees. I will never buy bare root again. Of the 17 trees I bought, 12 of them didn’t survive. The 5 that did live lost a full season of growth recovering from the bare rooting. I purchased trees in 1 and 3 gal pots from another company and they did much better.
Their refund policy is not good. They do not refund the tax or shipping, another company I purchased from does. They only give store credit so you’re stuck buying more of their bad product.
They don’t make it clear on the web sight which trees are grafted. Almost all the trees I got were grafted. They also don’t list the Latin names for the trees. I’ve learned this important to know so you can get other trees for pollination.

I purchased a GRASEE-Z-THOMCORD seedless grapevine on February 28, 2024. One year later, it fruited—but to my disappointment, it is not seedless, but seeded!
I contacted TyTy customer service on June 29, 2025, but received no response. I followed up with another email, still with no reply.
I feel compelled to leave a review here. If I could give zero stars, I would—but since that's not an option, I’m giving one star. I do not recommend this company to others.

This is a second pawpaw I ordered to pollinate a different verity. And Shenandoah tree arrived with yellow leaves and black sport on them, I promptly contacted them stating that tree arrived in poor condition and customer rep assured me that it’s just shipping stress, I planted it the next day and now 2 months later all tree leaves turned yellow and fell off. I contacted them again and they said just spray some neim oil and it should bounce back. Well. It looks sicker and sicker by the day, meanwhile the Allegheny tree purchased from here and planted not far from this one is thriving and producing new shoots and has beautiful green leaves. So it’s not the growing conditions. It’s the tree’s problem. Because I water and take care of it the same, it was planted the same way.
