It will be so exciting to "tend" my Drake Elm and watch it become the "Star" of my block. The young lady that took my phone order was very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I ordered a 5 - 6 ft specimen and I was "blown away" about how well it was packaged! The tree is a fine specimen, has excellent root structure and should do well. As a "pruning" lover, I must note there were remnants of
a small vine that should have been removed before having started a "gridling" tract. I expect the tree to
"out grow" that defect easily. Would I do business with TyTy again? Absolutely.

It would have helped to have planting directions enclosed with the trees.

I am thrilled to receive this pecan tree as I was a student at Auburn U. during the early 70's and took a nut culture course under Dr. Harry Amling the professor who developed this very variety. I know it must be a good one because he was a most wonderful teacher and person.

I've gotten several trees & shrubs from Ty Ty. All have been outstanding. All have arrived as larger plants that I expected, packaged extremely well. Don't know about their return/replacement procedures, haven't had to use the. All plants from them have thrived.

Packaging really protected the trees from damage. But I was amazed by the amount of the roots that each tree had. Each specimen had longer roots than I expected. I had to get my backhoe and redig the holes deeper. The roots and stems showed no signs of damage and the packing kept the roots moist. I planted the trees same day I received them. The delivery was very fast. The nursery notified me the day the trees were shipped which gave just enough time to dig the holes.

Both trees arrived in good shape. They are now in the ground. We are looking forward to watching them grow. TyTy is great--the service, the quality of their plants. I intend to buy some shrubs in the future.
