We could not be more satisfied with our recent (and first) purchase from Ty Ty Nursery. Beyond receiving Bamboo plants that were everything we were promised and which were perfectly prepared for shipping, receiving answers to our questions over the weekend exceeded our expectations. Just when we thought Customer Service for most companies was dead. Go figure ...

These come as bare root dormant trees. When ours arrived last fall we unpackaged it and soaked the roots in a bucket of water for a couple of hours before planting. This spring the tree budded and then filled out with some beautiful large leaves. All of the reviews about "dead twigs" are disturbing. Very few places ship non-dormant trees. If you want that you should buy at a local nursery. Also, if you want a "tree" more substantial in size you must pay a lot more for it. I think people should read more and understand what they are buying beforehand rather than complaining after that it wasn't what expected.

They came in great condition except some spotting.
They look good in the ground though. So maybe that spotting will go away. Plan on ordering my sister some of these.

Was nervous after seeing these trees upon delivery, and worried after a few weeks in the ground that I got dead trees. No need for the worries, these trees are growing like crazy!! quite pleased!!

Less than a week after arrival ....
The blush incrediball hydrangea was very happy looking and is adjusting to its new prepared bed. I'm watching and watering.

I was happy with my trees, they re-sprouted their leaves in no time and are happily growing near my front door. Great size for the money.

perfect service. thing i'm a bit worried about is there's no leaves, nothing shows in the way of growth. 1 of the roots (a main 1) is broken. so there's not much to put in the ground. its not 6 ft. its more like 5 ft. bummer. hopefully this tree will do its thing. i have another pear tree and it has its leaves and growing big time

The Trees came and were in excellent condition, I was very impressed with the diameter of the base of the tree and the root system the tree had. The Tree came with the buds already changing to leaves and have taken off already after a couple days.
