Apple pie

The day before I baked the pie, I made some vanilla bean ice cream . So while the pie was still just a little warm , just added a scoop and fabulous.. the apples so smooth, very tasty and just throw right amount of sweet. Homemade is soooo much better than commercail store bought. Will definitely buy again🍎🍏 Will definitely order again

I have used Good Ranches for years, and their portions have shrunk while the price went up. I will get three to four meals out of the same amount of breasts I usually get 2 out of. The chicken was grilled and tasted great!

We have subscribed to other meat deliveries, and often times we find the chicken “rubbery”. Heartstone Farm chicken is real. What do I mean. I mean the meat is not yellow but red/pink instead. The texture is not rubbery, and the portions are properly sized. We have yet to be disappointed. Good stuff!

Salmon is jamming

The salmon is very good. I really like salmon and this is much better than getting it in the grocery store. No complaints when it comes to this fishy. ☺️

Boneless Pork Loin Roast

Heartstone Farm Boneless Pork Loin Roast is perfectly trimmed, very flavorful, and tender. This versatile roast can be cooked as a roast, sliced into delicious pork chops and breaded, could even be made into pulled pork using an instant pot or even a crock pot. So many ways to enjoy. We used a couple of pork chops that we portioned from the roast, made pockets in them and stuffed them with stuffing and breaded the outside. Delicious! As always, the delivery arrives with the meat all nice and frozen, in a timely manner. We highly recommend!

Great fantitastic quality

Meat is tender even if over cooked.. my go to is the turkey sausage and Italy sausage. All meat is portioned out which makes it easy to meal prep.. I spend 2x more in big box stores with 1/4 of amount of meats from Farmer Dan. You gotta try it. ❤️

Everything received was fantastic. Great quality meat. Certainly worth the purchase. Unfortunately, with our location the shipment got a bit beat up and some of the items began thawing. Also, did not receive all of the items selected. When I checked the website, it said they were out of stock. Wish they swapped something out for the items or contacted us so that we could choose something else. Because what we did receive was great, we will give it another shot and hope it's better next time.

The New Me

I eat a lot of meat.I did not walk around feeling healthy.I kept changing everything I ate and drank but didn’t feel better until I ordered from Heartstone Farm.I am happy with everything from Heartstone❤️ I especially like the sirloin burger and ground turkey. All I can say is years of arthritic conditions have improved drastically.I am no longer holding my stomach after I eat.I feed it to my Maltipoo so she doesn’t have brown stains on her face and she’s not scratching all day.

Are I really like the pies that you were able to get especially the chicken pot pie, and the chicken taste great, hamburger was good. Some of the steaks were tough tried cooking different ways also. After they did away with the pies, the box deliveries look like they were kicked off the back of a truck and rolled down a hill.

Our order came frozen just as promised despite it being 84°F for the four hours it was outside at our door. All the meat we have eaten so far has been great! The ground beef has been my favorite so far!

Meats are great, could do a little better with packaging. Packages are not vacuum packed. I’ve had a few that have had a small tear during packing.

I really love the meat, but with both of my deliveries so far, every single one of the packages in the box has been cut open. Not sure if it’s something with loading the boxes, or if they’re damaged in transit, but it’s a pain to have to rebag them all so they don’t leak or get freezer burn. Unsure if the bags were vacuum-sealed to begin with, but they’re definitely not by the time they get to me.

I ordered 3 blueberry, one apple, and one pumpkin. I ate two blueberry pies in under two weeks. They were excellent. Just like the fresh blueberry pies I ate while traveling in Maine a couple months ago. Very good product and highly recommend.

The sausages were very tasty and fresh. The sausages were great with spaghetti and cooked in the sausage.

Flavor that melts in your mouth

Since this was the first time receiving a pork roast from Farmer Dan I decided to thaw it out to try. I saw some fat which I was going to trim but decided to leave it for the roasting process. I rinsed it and patted dry. Then I rubbed it with olive oil. All around I rubbed salt, pepper, rosemary and thyme. Piled a lot of the spice on top. Then cut into slivers some garlic cloves. With a sharp knife I made small slits to push the garlic cloves into. Started with a 400 degree oven and had the roast on a foil lined cookie sheet and a small baking rack. I always pour a glass of water in the pan to collect with the juices. Do this right after you put it in the oven so you don’t spill the water. After 20 minutes I turned the oven down to 375 and roasted until 170 because it’s pork. Cooled it and sliced it up cold. Those pan juices and a little butter were used to warm the sliced pork in. It melts in your mouth and the flavors are delicious! The fat that was there before roasting seemed to disappear so no need to trim!
