Came well packaged with no shipping issues. My order was shipped Fedex and took 2 days to get to me. I was initially concerned about temperature fluctuations (frozen meat, in summer heat). I’m a 4 hour drive away from the farm, so thought it would come next day. Although there was no dry ice remaining and the inside was cool at best, everything was still frozen. Have tried the ground hamburger and pork so far and they were delicious! Trying the premade hamburgers tonight. I really appreciate that I was able to pick the exact meats I wanted. The former company I used had amazing meats, but you couldn’t pick products the way you can here. Looking forward to trying more things from Heartstone!

Hello! We just received on Friday our first order which were the Grass Fed Pattie Burgers. You made these were you gave us a very generous amount of beef. We grilled our first ones on Saturday and they were juicy, tender, delicious and satisfying. The price was worth paying especially since we paid more for less beef from the company we formally ordered from. We paid less and got more for our buck. We are very pleased. We will pass your name on and let others experience the taste of your product. One other favor, can you e-mail the nutrition facts on these burgers. I make food for my dogs and I mostly go to ground turkey for this purpose. When I use store bought ground turkey, I usually see a cup or more of fat that I have to drain off. However, when I used your ground turkey, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no far to be drained and I didn’t have to “encourage “ my Bella to eat it all. She devoured it. Quality Beef!

This Brisket was top grade! I also bought ground beef, and even the scent of the beef when raw is so much better than other farm beef that I purchased in the past. Can’t wait for their Prime Roast to become available! The Brisket had the perfect texture and flavor, and I was able to eat using only a fork on my dish!

Superb pork

I cooked it in my crockpot on low. I used my own dry rub, mini can of Canada Dry ginger ale, small amount of chicken broth. This pork has such a delicious flavor and it came out so tender. I will definitely buy again!

Really good quality chicken

I am so picky about chicken but when preparing breaded chicken cutlets the other night, I could immediately tell that this chicken was of very good quality. It was very tender and not tough like some chicken can be. Definitely will be reordering.

Fajitas

Made fajitas tonight with the fajita meat and they were delicious! The meat was very tender and juicy! Made a very generous amount and my husband looooved them! Will definitely be adding these to one of my orders in the near future again!

Great sausage!

We browned these sausages in a cast iron skillet with peppers, tomatoes, and onions and served them with a cheesy cheddar and garlic polenta with calabrian chilis. So good! Definitely will buy them again. Great quality and flavor.

Better than Expected

I was looking for easy meal prep but finding beef that is grass fed AND finished is no easy task. At the price point I have been wildly impressed and can not wait to cook my way through all of Heartstone's offerings.

Tastes much better

There was a very noticeable improvement in flavor over the Good Chop stuff I was having delivered previously. Didn't care for the hot dogs (a little too much flavor there, weirdly), but otherwise aces all around.

It's big enough to share but I'd rather not. You don't really need to do anything to this meat but salt it a little.

I love my ribeye steaks that I usually order. But, last order I added Chilli. I really enjoy soup for an easy to prepare meal. Your soups are awesome. I ordered 5 chilli's this time.

Amazing Ground Pork

Heartstone Farm Ground Pork is the best ground pork that I’ve personally tried. This pork, along with equal weight of Heartstone’s ground beef, resulted in immensely flavorful, tender, and delicious meatballs. They were so tasty and light that we decided to eat them without sauce. Instead we topped with some local mozzarella and heated in oven until mozz was melted and slightly golden in spots. I regularly will be ordering Heartstone’s ground pork!!

Best Turkey Ever

I don't consider myself a turkey lover, in fact, I almost never eat it and it makes Thanksgiving my least favorite holiday. However, I'm grateful for this amazing mean from Heatstone Farms. It's all white mean, doesn't have that weird store-bought turkey taste and it's delicious. Easily the best ground turkey I've ever had. So far from what's in the supermarket that it's humorous. Love it and will be purchasing more.

fajita - perfect cut

I recently ordered and used fajita meat. The meat was cut perfectly and melted in your mouth. I ordered 2lbs of it. The first pound I over cooked and it was still good! The second pound I cooked much better and it came out even better. Both melted in your mouth thou and were not chewy.

Ribeye steak 10 oz

I will never go back to store bought meat again. This steak was the perfect size, tender and very flavorful. Heartstone farm has a customer for life. The steak was just delicious.

Best Racks of Ribs I've Seen

I have been barbecuing and smoking ribs for over 14 years and these were the nicest St. Louis ribs I've seen. I've had to buy my ribs from the grocery store since the local butcher shop here closed down, but even the butcher never had St. Louis racks as nice as these. They are meaty and well trimmed up. I bought 2 racks and only had to do minimal prep, removing some of the membrane and trimming a little fat. I smoked these for about 5 hours at 225 degrees with apple wood for a backyard barbecue with friends, and everyone went crazy over them. Just a heads up you won't need to smoke these as long as ribs from the store. I almost overdid it. I can't go back to grocery store ribs after these!

We have tried so many different brands of ground turkey and have been dissatisfied every time until now. Great quality, no sinew or other parts of the turkey that shouldn’t be present in any ground meat. Will definitely order again.

Excellent grass fed liver

I've eaten a lot of liver and this is BY FAR the best tasting liver I've had. We typically mix it with some grass fed ground beef and make burgers (this can be done easily with food processor). However, sometimes we will make it as a pâté and then store it in the fridge for later use as a spread. There are many different ways of getting it into your diet and it essentially serves as the ultimate multi vitamin as grass fed liver is both vitamin and mineral rich and completly bioavailable to the body. Can't thank Heartstone farm enough for providing such a high quality food at an affordable price!
