best chicken

Flavor and texture is so much better than big box store. Wife used to refuse to eat chicken but thinks chicken from heartstone farms is delicious!

Heartstone has a lot of heart, and while I may not see exactly how operations are run, I trust that Heartstone sourcing is as ethical as they get, having the welfare of the animals at the forefront. Yes, in the end, the sweet animals will be killed, knowing they were loved and cared for until their last breath gives solace.

Awesome ground beef!

I’ve been so impressed with all of the meat that I’ve received from Hearthstone. The ground beef is one of my favorites. It’s versatile, flavorful and moist. I’ve made meatballs, meat loaf and chili with it and all came out great!

After 4 deliveries I can say I absolutely love the products I receive - except for the bacon. It has little flavor and is very pale throughout. I've also noticed there is a lot of air in the shrink wrap in the bacon, and also on some of the others recently. I will continue my subscription and adjust my items. My main reason for shopping Farmer Dan is to buy direct from growers/producers and ensure highest quality meat and other products. Thank you!

We are enjoying the wonderful quality of meat so far!

The meat and customer service is and has always been great. My complaint is the last two deliveries came without dry ice and a little thawing had begun as we were not notified of the delivery. Also the box looked like it had been tossed around quite a bit.

Very responsive service. Products of high quality.

Great products as always!!

The quality of the meat is excellent but packaging is inconsistent. The last two shipments had no dry ice left and some meat thawed or partially thawed.

Top tier customer service. The quality and flavor meat is outstanding.

Delicious Chicken Breast

Love the chicken breast. Amazing taste, always moist and delicious any way you cook it.

Great product

Very pleased with the quality and affordability of the products...happy that my tiwn is covered in their service area....love the email updates and customer service. Grateful that they utilize shipping techniques that keep the products frozen until delivery

The best meat and the best customer service. We really appreciate what Heartstone does to provide clean healthy food.

Grass Fed Burgers

I’ve been really happy with Heartstone Farm’s burgers! They arrived well packaged and shipped, and the burgers themselves are delicious. Their website was also easy to navigate and made ordering a breeze. Overall, a great experience and I’ll definitely be ordering again.

Awesome price for top quality meat! I love the online ordering process. It's quick and easy to change your order on the website. You always have great cuts and the shipping is fast! I'd highly recommend Heartstone Farms for all of your meat needs!

Always delicious!

Every time I get an order from Farmer Dan, I am so pleased with the care they take in shipping and the quality of the meat. So much better for our health and I love supporting a local farm! Thank you!

I've never had issues with deliveries from Heartstone Farm in the past, but this time my box arrived very "soggy" and stinking of bacon. It looked (and smelled) like some bacon had defrosted on top of my box, which caused the cardboard to get soaked and essentially be completely torn up. Thankfully, the contents of the box did not seem to be compromised, but it was not a great experience. Like I said above, this is the first time this has happened so hopefully just a one off!

Our Heartstone Farm Ribeye Steak was amazing

I love ordering my steaks from Heartstone Farms. I know I am getting the best quality steaks and they taste delicious!

delicious!

We love these burgers! Highly recommend

Always great!

Order arrive in timely fashion. Packing was excellent and delivery was handled with care.

Meat is good. Wish they had the bone chicken back

monthly box

Every product is amazing!!

Excellent quality in meats and poultry and the blueberry pie that i tried so far is delicious. Packaging very good

I came back to this membership because of the quality of chicken I get. It’s real and tastes better than any I’ve had since I was a kid (Gen X here). Well worth the money.

Ditch Supermarket Meat

Hearstone meat is the way meat should be on your plate, raised properly and humanely and clean tasting. Delivery is quick and customer service is actually customer service, not a bunch of phone prompts. I never buy meat from the big stores anymore. None of us should. There isn't any reason to with Farmer Dan raising meat.

Alaskan Sockeye Salmon

My family loves your Alaskan sockeye salmon. It’s hard for us to find great tasting salmon so we add it to every order and look forward to its arrival.

Love me some Farmer Dan! Always the highest quality meats & fish (love the salmon!), quick delivery, easy to change or adjust orders. I have recommended Heartstone Farms to many of my friends!

We have been ordering meat for a year. It comes well packaged and frozen ready for the freezer. The ground beef is the best!

chicken breast

Very good quality chicken breast nicely trimmed definitely buy again

We’ve enjoyed e everything we’ve ordered. Best bacon ever!!

Always a good meal

The Best of the Best

I have been purchasing a meat box from Hearstone for a very long time. The quality and taste is excellent. I have tried other online meat companies with good reputations and even used one locally. Hearstone is still is the best. The shipping is always on time and the meat is always frozen. Thank you Farmer Dan. You are the best.

Farmer Dan’s ground beef

Farmer Dan’s ground beef is delicious.

Had no idea how much better tasting it would be purchasing direct. So glad I did.

delicious!

I have had the farmer down chicken, fish, beef. They’re all delicious. One of my most favorite. of my most favorite is the ground beef. I’ve used it for meatballs, meatloaf, and burgers they were all delicious which I attribute to the quality of the ground beef. I also really like getting the 1 pound free!

Tasty Meats

Yay! My subscription meat box is here and it’s so easy to deal with. Delivered right to my door and frozen in packs ready to plop into the freezer. Their big pork chops are wonderful with great flavor! My husband and I love them.

Chicken Breast Strips

Very juicy love this meat

Everything went as expected and shipping was great.

Great meat!

Love knowing where my food is coming from!!

great chicken breasts

The breasts are large and pink and juicy. Plenty of meat to feed me and my husband who is 6’4 and loves Nice size portions

Our subscription for monthly deliveries is great — the products, and the delivery and communications are all excellent! We get ribeye, ground beef, and chicken thighs, drumsticks, and wings… and all of them are always outstanding. Never been disappointed. We’ve also tried chili and blueberry pie — same high quality. Thank you!

Great product

They products are really good and the customer service is awesome.

everything was great !

From the packaging to the delivery was a five star service !

pork meatballs are amazing

I like to make port meatballs for my family this way we can even enjoy them for breakfast with eggs. The pork is fresh and delicious.

Very good quality beef. We've been buying this beef for 2 years now and its still great quality. Keep up the good work.

I would like to order thicker steaks. The packaging has had leaks. So defrosting is messy

chicken wings

Clean taste. I marinated it with buttermilk and baked it with a mix of all purpose flour and cornstarch. It comes out great, moist and tender.

Heartstone made my order correct. I really appreciate them standing behind their quality and ensuring it gets to the customer in a timely manner. Thank you

I have been buying from hearthstone farms for quite some time now. Food arrives frozen and on time. Cooking it up smells just like the old days. Good

Every Order

In love with these ribeye steaks! Order 2 each shipment for a steak dinner for the hubby and I!

Great variety of meats, shipped in state, arrived frozen

Great meat, timely delivery

So glad that I get my meat from Farmer Dan! Such better quality than anything in the grocery store!

Oh So Good!

I used my Instapot today to cook my Heartstone Farm chicken leg quarters with vegetables. And the chicken and the broth was so tasty. I knew I was doing something very healthy for myself. Thank you Farmer Dan for taking such good care of us!

Excellent

The chicken breasts are one of my favorite purchases. They are juicy and butchered very well. I have not found them to have that weird spongy texture you get sometimes with store bought chicken breasts. I can’t go back to store bought.

The box arrived frozen. The only items I would change is the chicken. I don’t believe it’s up to the standards Heartsone Farms has. I cooked the chicken tenders and they were not very good. I cannot know the individual prices of the chicken, but I don’t believe it’s worth the subscription price. Two of the tenderloins were bloody and after cooking them, they turned out brown. I will continue to purchase only if the quality of the chicken is better.

Yummy Pie!!!!

My wife has the sweet tooth so she is doing the review (Lol). She said it was the freshest frozen Apple Pie she has ever had. She said the ingredients were very fresh and the pie was very tasty. I enjoyed it as well. We still have the blueberry in the freezer that we are looking forward to trying. Would definitely order again.

Perfect dinner!

I have purchased strip steak few times, it’s always great quality! My family loves steak dinners! Price is always fair.

The food always arrives when stated and frozen solid. The meat is excellent. We have been ordering for several years. We were home for Thanksgiving one year and ordered the turkey which was also top notch flavor. I also enjoy their chili and the pies are always a treat when available!

You continue to provide high quality products to my family. We are looking forward to the half. Ow shipment in November. Keep up the great work, and thank you for the glimpse into the lives of the salmon fishers.

Meets from Heartstone Farm are EXCELLENT

Our meats from Farmer Dan at Heartstone Farm have always lived up to their expectations. We love our Burgers and ground beef along with the Shaved Steak, Bacon etc. Never disappointed.

Excellent products and customer service. Easy to use online interface and nice choice of products. ALL items remind my husband and I the tastes and smells of our youth (when food actually tasted like food). A definite staple in this household.

Great ground beef!

Easy to order haven’t got any meat order that hasn’t been good.

Well made, tasty. Easy good to just heat and eat

Great quality as always!

I have been impressed with every selection we have received and the ground turkey is no exception! Delicious, packaged well, and great quality!

Great Products

Keep up the great work folks!

chicken leg quarter

These are awesome. Moist and tender no matter how we have cooked them

Reliably tender and never stringy or tough

I will not buy from the commercial store “farms” again. Reliable, flavorful, best quality.

You are really missing out

If you have never tried these amazing, juicy, full of flavor pork chops you are really missing out. It is how meat is supposed to taste. While I do like some seasons, I found myself using more and more of them just to make meat taste like something. Not these....you can eat them with nothing added and they delicious! I usually just ad a pinch of salt and pepper but the true flavor is the pork. I just can't believe the different between conventional , store bought pork vs these pasture raised pork. I'm completely spoiled now!

Order came late and totally defrosted. Was told there had been a shipping delay and to dispose of the order. Given choice of replacement order or reimbursement. Chose the latter. Prompt credit posted. Very disappointed in loss of order. Monson is not that far from Charleston to have had a 4day delay occur.

Great service always on time. Products are delicious and always arrrive frozen.

We are really enjoying our orders from Heartstone, thank you for always responding to us quickly with our questions. Wonderful company.

So worth it

You can truly taste the difference and quality. Ground beef from the grocery is essentially flavorless at this point- the meat provided by heartstone is so much better and I trust the quality meat is too.

So Glad I Found Them

I absolutely love the products from Heartstone Farms! I know I’m supporting hard-working farmers who care about providing me and my family with healthy meat, poultry, and fish! Delivered right to my door, it’s so easy to shop their website, and it arrives quickly ready for my freezer! Thank you!

So happy I found Heartstone Farm’s! I love the meat box program and the fact that I feel so good about the quality of meats I receive. I’m very picky and always want the best quality of food, including organic grass fed free range, etc. I have been receiving Heartstone Farm’s meets for over a year and never been disappointed! They are such a blessing to me and my family!

Good clean meat from a real farm instead of heartless industrial corporations.

Our meat always comes ontime and always delicious. Nice being able to order ahead of time and receive it when needed. Also when we were away they held our oder till we returned. Great Customer Service.

perfect pork chops

I don’t usually leave ratings or comments, but I truly have loved the pork chops from Heartstone Farm! When cooked, they are so tender and juicy, and never disappoints! Thank you, Heartstone for bringing this in my delivery package!

The standard

This blend of ground beef "should" be the standard of ground beef. Heart stone does it right with the animals and the flavor is distinct and delicious. #AncestralBeefOrNoBeef

I'm having a very hard time signing in to create my second order. YOur meats are delicious but it is difficult for me to understand how to create a ssecond order.

Delicious Chicken Breast

Love the chicken breast. Amazing taste, always moist and delicious any way you cook it.

Best Salmon

We're very pleased with the quality of this salmon. It's fantastic cooked on the grill! It is way better than any we have bought at the grocery.

Customer Service -Top Shelf!

Our most recent meat subscription delivery arrived in terribly mishandled condition. The box was incredibly beat up and a ribeye steak somehow broken clean in half! I took a couple of photos and emailed the folks at Hearstone as soon as I returned home to discover the package on my front porch. This clearly was Heartstone’s issue and most definitely belonged to the freight company. It was after hours on a Friday so I didn’t expect a response until Monday and wasn’t sure what that response would be (would I need to file a claim with the freight company)? Well I actually received an email back the next morning apologizing for the issue and they would in fact send out a complete replacement shipment! Very pleased with this response….I recommend Heartstone all the time!

Steak burgers are wonderful!!! So flavorful and tender. We’re in out 70’s, one of us has Lymn disease so we have to be careful about ingredients and so happy to find clean healthy beef that actually tastes like the beef we ate as kids. The burgers are our favorite . We LOVE burgers , with buns or without. (Portion control). Partial plates and all the dentistry issues (ha ha). Honestly. They are so FLAVORFUL.

Noticeable difference

Heartstones air chilled chicken is hands down the best. I always purchased store bought chicken but every week I found myself constantly disappointed and throwing away expensive meat. It was inconsistent, chewy or mealy texture at times, flavorless, dry, tougher than nails despite my husband being a grill master. I decided to give heartstone a try and never looked back. The air chilled chicken is so good, always fresh, perfect taste and texture! I ended up trying their other products as well and now is the only place we purchase meat from. I love being able to order when I want and customize my order each time it conveniently gets delivered to my door, perfectly packaged Everytime! If you've been on the fence, just give it a try! Promise you won't be disappointed!

Love those legs!

Leg quarters are my favorite chicken part, and these are great!

Absolutely amazing quality! The meat was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and you can really taste the difference compared to what you normally find at the grocery store. Everything was packaged perfectly and delivered right to my house, which made the whole experience so convenient. Great quality, great service, and knowing where your meat is coming from makes it even better. I’ll definitely be ordering again!

the only place to buy meat!!

I have been buying meat from Heartstone Farms for a couple years now and I will never buy from anywhere else! The strip steak is one of my favorites, I always make sure to add those in my package. Their steaks have ruined all other steaks for me, no other store can even compare to the quality that they provide!

This is the second shipment I have received and have not yet cooked anything from it yet. My first order was excellent with the blueberry sausage which was delicious as were the chicken breast. Looking forward to trying the beef I ordered this time.

We are very pleased with the quality of the meats and I love the easy ordering process, we have never been disappointed and the service is great.

Excellent products and service.

I would give 5 stars, but some cut of meat are not the best

Everything I have ordered came in and it all has tasted very good I will continue to order from here instead of going to the store

Where is your beef from?

With the furlough of FDA inspectors courtesy of DOGE coupled with foreign imports that China refused we can not take lightly the condition of the meat in supermarkets. It is incredibly comforting to know where your beef comes from and what dangerous antibiotics are being consumed in this meat. After dozens of purchases from Heartstone Farm I have deep peace about the beef in my freezer. The latest order arrived safe during a heat wave! Zero confidence in grocery store meat today while enjoying 100% confidence in Heartstone beef. Another order is already on the way! 💙 Thank you Dan and team Heartstone for providing a safe alternative for those in the know. Now more than ever it matters where you get your beef.

Very nice quality and on time delivery

Altho I have been receiving the boxes for 6 deliveries so far by subscription and throughly wnjoyed the many meals we had and gifted to neighbors from the spiral Ham I ordered I have noticed some of the steaks and fiilets in three if the boxes very tough gristly and fatty altho the majority cooked up well on the grill and in oven Wrote recently as order was missing turkey tenderloins but they wrote it would be included in next order I absolutely live the poultry we have ordered and eapecially the sockeye salmon a new family favorite mainly because its tasty and wild caught and flash frozen thank you for the quality as I so not buy from grocery store at all anymore when it comes to most food We have a veggie garden and I buy from local farms here in Jersey also
