Love this butter!

This butter is light and creamy. The more is read about grass fed store bought butter the more I realize it’s not what it claims to be. Only solution is to buy from a trusted farmer. I buy this butter because I trust the course and I like some salt in my butter. Some almond flour banana bread with Heartstone Farm salted butter. Yum.

Very poor customer service. They sent me an email on my next order that they are sending children tenders instead of my chicken thighs I requested. I responded 3 hours later and told them I don’t want them and would wait for my whole order when the thighs were available. They told me too late the order was packaged already. I told them I want to cancel my subscription. They sent me an email2 days later that my order shipped. They easily could have waited. I keep getting emails from them even though I have unsubscribed several times. This last email was asking me to write this review. Maybe now they will stop harassing me.

We have ordered a variety of items from your farm and our favorite so far is the chicken pot pie. A little salty for our taste but manageable. Moreover, the meats are of great quality that we've stopped grocery shopping elsewhere. Can definitely tell a big difference between your and store-bought products. Thank you.

Excellent farm, meat selection is great i never had a problem with them, when i couldnt change my order i just emailed them what to change and they did it.They always keep u informed and delivery is excellent. food always comes frozen solid. the beef pork and chicken are excellent, never had a problem with the food. i do thighs, breasts and sausages. had the bacon and i do chopmeat, turkey and beef, love it.

I researched several home delivery meat companies in order to make my meal planning easier, to have the security of always having something on hand, and for high quality. I am so happy to have chosen Heartstone. I did so because of their selection, the smart and easy use of the website, the high quality and humane treatment of the animals, but the most interesting fact was the air-chilled chicken breasts. I had no idea about the way the others pack their chicken, so that was the final and unexpected reason for choosing Heartstone. I did make the honey-mustard recipe posted on the website and it was so easy and delicious that it was eaten up before I was able to get a picture. Used the ground beef for the first time and it was the best tasting meatballs ever! Excellent Chicken

I've been purchasing all my meat from Heartstone Farm. Their meat is fresh and arrives well packaged. What I enjoy the most is that their meat is hormone- and chemical-free.

I received my second order recently. I order boneless chicken breasts and ground white meat turkey. I am extremely pleased. The meat arrives still frozen. Grocery store boneless chicken breasts always have to be trimmed of fat. Hearthstone Farms chicken has already been trimmed of all fat. The chicken is very tender and delicious, as is the turkey, which I make turkey burgers with. I am so glad I found Heartstone Farms and would recommend them highly. I have a local source for grass feed beef, so I do not order that. Thank you to Heartstone Farms!

The quality of the meat is worth the cost. The fact that you don't have to go out shopping but have it delivered to your door makes like eaiser.

Heartstone Meat

I have been on automatic ordering for several months. The chicken is tender and clean tasting. The burgers are tasty and delicious.

I was a bit disappointed that they did not have the chicken that I had in my order, but I got a phone call from Heartstone and was able to add different items to my order. It arrived promptly.

This is the first time I’ve done this and I’m pleased with this Farm and the others that sell their meat products. Today you really don’t know what you’re getting at the grocery stores. I can taste the difference from what you buy from the farms and what you get at a store. I prefer to stay with Heartstone farms. Highly suggest you give them a try.

Great meat good service

I have received maybe 5 or 6 orders and have not had any problems with the amount of dry ice in box. All orders were still frozen solid when I received the box.

Chuck Steaks

I eat at least one chuck steak every day. I get 20 from Heartstone every month, the rest from other places. I used to get them from Costco. But their beef is feedlot nonsense and although it tastes good enough I feel a lot better eating Heartstone beef. They have a good looking site and fancy messaging on there about how great their farms are. Is it true? I dunno. But their beef beats the pants off what I can find in the store. I do a lot of mma and grapple sports, I can tell immediately in my energy levels if I eat low quality meat. Heartstone beef is my choice.

HS chicken breast strips

These are the BEST chicken strips I have ever purchased. They are cleaned up, ready to prepare and delicious. I have used them for stir fry, breaded and baked (gluten free coating) and they cook up beautifully! I am grateful for Heartstone and the products I purchase.

Cuts are too small and meat was getting brown. Not as good quality as it used to be.

Coming back to Heartstone is the best decision I’ve made. The flavor and knowing the safe practices of growing and butchering are what I’m most comfortable with. Thank you Heartstone for your variety. Soooo good to have a tasty burger at home again! The salmon was delicious! The sirloin steak was perfect size for just the two of us. Again the taste from home cooked….. yum! I’m back for good!

Chicken breasts

I think these are possibly the best chicken breaststroke I've ever eaten! Usually I'm not a breast fan, thry can be stringy, watery, or rubbery, bland tasting, but these are the opposite. They are tender and flavorful, and one of my favorite things to order from heartstone!

All my meat arrived when scheduled and was packaged well. I could taste the difference in the steak right away. My son even commented on how flavorful the meat was and asked where it was from. The quality of the meat from Heartstone Farms is amazing. So far every cut I’ve tried has been so flavorful.

The meats came in frozen luckily, but the box was not taped well at all. There was only one strip of tape top and bottom, and the box almost fell apart when we got home and picked it up off our porch.

I have put a great amount of trust in Hearstone concerning the quality of the products purchased. I have received my second shipment recently and I am enjoying the food. Knowing the care that goes into l what I’m eating makes me feel safe.

This salmon is fresh and flavorful and comes in just the right portion size for my family!

In the beginning a year or so ago, it was great. Meat was excellent, consistent quality and nicely packaged. Over the last 6 months or so, packaging is all different and the “quality” is inconsistent. We always order pretty much the same meats. (More beef in the summer months for grilling) the steaks have been very inconsistent with thickness and quantity. Sometimes they’re amazing with little fat and thickness is perfect. This order we received these (I believe sirloin) and my husband could hardly cook them. They were very thin so they overcooked and they had a large edge of fat that we couldn’t eat. This is very unlike them. However, I did write to customer service and they apologized and gave me a credit towards my next order so they are very responsive when needed. Still love the farms and the clean meats. Just hope they stay “small enough” to keep the animals happy, healthy and the meat clean and the customer service top notch! Best meat ever and it doesn’t make me sick.

We Love Heartstone!

My son Jon and I started ordering from Heartstone a few months ago. We could not be happier. We have oven baked and grilled the boneless, skinless chicken thighs. Not only is the meat fabulous, it has made a cooking connection with my son and I. This has been especially rewarding with the passing our my husband and his father earlier this year! Been a customer for a while.. absolutely the best.. I don't buy my steak burger anywhere else EVER... times are tough so at the moment I buy the steak burgers but have had a lot of different meats all outstanding!

Always a great experience!

I started getting the chicken breast pkgs. I pound them inside a ziplock bag, then season them. I cook them stovetop in my large cast iron skillet. Then I slice them up into strips and add to Mexican or Indian dishes. For the summer you could probably use them as a salad topper. Very versatile and delicious!!!

Steaks are perfect! The blueberry sausages are addictive! Bought them for my husband, but I eat them as much as he does.

Juicy burgers

I love the preformed patties. We like our burgers medium done. They are red, juicy and flavorful. I don’t use ketchup mustard or pickle. The meat tastes great with a slice of cheese. I love clean healthy meat!

Great gift!

I wanted to thank a distant relative for their kindness toward me and my husband when he was hospitalized for 5+ weeks with a stroke. I knew they frequently made their own meals and enjoyed sharing those meals with relatives, so a sample of different meat options from Farmer Dan's was a perfect gift to have shipped. They were impressed, particularly with how on a very hot day, when they eventually got home to their package, everything inside was perfectly maintained at the right temperature - "Everything was frozen solid despite record heat here."

The Ribeye is our best steak, whether grilled or pan fried it never fails in taste. You can't go wrong in buying this cut of meat. Even if you are a horrible cook, the ribeye will still taste great.

Long Time Customer

In April of 2020, as the Covid pandemic began to disrupt supply chains and beef began disappearing from supermarket shelves, we began looking for another more reliable source of supply. We found Farmer Dan and have been customers ever since. We receive regular shipments to our door of grass fed beef each month. The beef is tasty, the customer service is excellent, and we have the comfort of knowing that we have a local supplier with whom we can communicate and are no longer at the mercy of faraway supply chains.

I forgot to take pictures. I made my cheese burgers on romaine lettuce, red onions and mortadella mushrooms with mayo ketchup.

I absolutely appreciate being able to buy responsively provided (I’m not sure that’s the right way to say that, but in my mind it’s like a product being fair trade). The customer service is also excellent. And, of course, the meat is always delicious and guilt-free.

My box came damaged, a lot of meat was thawed, a few packages were ripped, and all my chicken had no vacuum seal. I was very surprised as typically everything from you guys come perfect.

My husband and I love our meat orders! We modify what we get occasionally. But most of our meat (and salmon) choices are the same every month—because, why mess with success? We also get a couple soups and chili packets. Thank you, Heartstone!
