FedEx reported my initial shipment was damaged while shipping. Heartstone replaced my order and the package was received quickly. The hubby & I thoroughly enjoy our monthly boxes.

First order got fouled up and I was bummed. Second order arrived with exactly what I ordered. Really love the sausage and hamburger meat! The chicken looks great only tried the thighs and they were fantastic. I'm a country guy that was looking for fresh meat I always enjoyed in my early years and this is as close as I can find. I'm Pa. Dutch growing up on a farm. Forget your beef hot dogs, they are more like beef sticks, lol. Maybe your pork farmer can make pork dogs? Anyway, I'll be ordering again when I need quality meat!!!

YUMMY CHICKEN

The Chicken came out FLAVORFUL, MOIST and simply YUMMY!

When I began ordering everything was excellent and I actually referred to several friends. Since then I have noticed quality issues and also delivery issues. The Filet mignons are now thin cut and actually don't look like fillet mignons but rather some sort of strip because they have fat cap running through them. The fillet should be round and thicker not flat and thin with fat running through them like a strip steak. Also last order came thawed which was corrected by sending a new order . My referrals have also since stop buying for different issues. I have since switched to White Oak Pasture

Chicken thighs

I think the chicken I have delivered from heartstone farms is some of the best chicken I've ever eaten! The bone-in thighs cook up perfectly. Very tasty, totally happy!

Exceptional Filet Mignon

I always order a filet mignon in my box for my grandson. He thoroughly enjoys it every time. I think he says “mmmmm” after every bite. They are always flavorful and tender, just like a quality filet should be. I will continue to order these, because they are just that delicious.

I love dark meat and prefer skin on and bone in, so decided to try Heartstone Farm’s chicken thighs since I haven’t been satisfied with our local grocery. So glad I did. They’re a nice size. I’ve baked them, fried them, slow cooked them, and regardless, they’re always moist and full of flavor. These are my go to now. Looking forward to my next order arrival.

Strip Steak

I on my 4th box of Heartstone Farm Meats and I have loved all the cuts from the chicken breast, thighs and legs to the ground meats. One of my absolute favorite order is the Strip Steak. The cuts are thick and not too much fat(just enough to keep it juicy). I grill it medium rare with some spice rub and it never dries out. It is a delicious steak which I really recommend especially as we enter the summer grill season months!

Every time I reach with a question I always get a personal response within a day. In a impersonal digital world it is refreshing and appreciated.

I honestly love the box but I am disappointed that it now is shipped from New Jersey. I don’t like knowing that the products have left Maine for storage in New Jersey and shipment.
