Never before Bacon

Best Burger Ever

I’m not a huge fan of burgers because the meat never tastes fresh to me. When I bite into one I’m always waiting for that slight off taste. So when I took a bite of my burger from Heartstone Farms I was expected the same but no! It was the best tasting burger I’ve tasted in a long time! So next time we cook franks and burgers I’ll choose the burger from Heartstone Farms.

Would Never Go Back!

There is absolutely no comparison with Farmer Dan’s meat and store bought. Not only the flavor but the quality. This is my first year subscribing after having watched documentaries on where our meat comes from commercially. Absolutely revolting and inhumane. However, I am definitely a carnivore and needed to find a solution. I am absolutely incredibly happy with my choice. It’s also cheaper for me than going grocery shopping so win win

This was the first time ordering the shaved steak. We decided to make Philly Cheese sandwiches. The steak was not only tender but quite tasty. There was enough to make four nice size sandwiches.. Breakfast sausage

Really enjoyed these sausages. My husband and I can get two meals out of one package. I've used them chopped up in salads and in quiche. And have served them to guests as a brunch side. The blueberry sausages are equally as yummy. I love Heartstone products ❣️

Excellent Deal on Ground Beef

On a recent order I opted for the 5lb package @ 45.00. The ground is perfect for burgers, meatloaf, chili etc. The flavor is excellent. At 9.00 / lb it’s a bargain for high quality beef that I depend on from Heartstone.

I like this shortrib!

The shortrib is very good. For the same price I can only purchase some not that great shortrib at the supermarket. But at here I can have the 100% grass-finished shortrib with better taste!

On monday memorialday we grilled the strip steaks they were really good,we also had the blueberry pie which was excellant,I wish I could send a picture like you requested but you were a day late on your request by then the pie was history lol,there were no leftovers and even the tin had been discarded maybe nextime, I will be ordering again

Flavorful cut

The sirloin is a very flavorful cut. Definitely the toughest of all the cuts we’ve had, but don’t pass over it because of that. I recommend tenderizing with a marinade before cooking. Thick cuts cooks up perfectly and flavor is outstanding!

My family eats quite a bit of chicken (especially now that grill season is upon us), and heartstone farm chicken thighs are some of our favorite pieces to eat. Always juicy and flavorful, you can taste the difference. We love them!

Ground Beef

I enjoyed the ground beef that was part of my subscription box. I made delicious hamburgers with the ground beef this time around and they were so good. I like my burgers thick and juicy so the prepackaged burgers I got in my first box were too thin and I did not reorder them. It is just my preference - the meat was still great.

You learned from research that liver are one of the best sources of minerals and vitamins that you could get when you are trying to get pregnant. I am very excited to try this and I stocked up and put it in our freezer.

Heartstone Grass fed beef...

I recently ordered a number of different items from Heartstone Farms. I especially enjoyed their grass fed burgers that come 3 to a pack. We think they are much better than the ones from our local grocery store. Their steaks are very tasty although of a thin cut so not for the Bar-b-que... Everything ships in dry ice and is very well packed! We have also gotten chicken legs and pork chops which we have yet to try. (It all comes frozen and these meats are still in my freezer along with a strawberry rhubarb pie!) I like skipping the middle man. This is a good way to buy healthy grass fed meat. I'd recommend this farm. I like their philosophy and service! I will use them again!

Latest order

I have been truly enjoying my box I receive every other month so was looking forward to its arrival. It was received when it was supposed to, packed well, dry ice still enough to keep my 10 items frozen. This is the first time I was a little disappointed. One issue was the pack of shaved steak. It was not vacuumed sealed like everything else so bits of frozen meat or dried blood was loose in the package so left me wondering if it had partially thawed or the seal had been punctured, then refrozen. The other issue was one of the packages of chicken breasts. Both packages are very large breasts, larger than anything I’ve gotten from you before. I cook and eat a lot of chicken. This first one was tough, not very tasty.. the one still in the freezer from this order is even larger, so I’m a little concerned. The chicken breasts in my previous orders always were tender and tasty regardless of how I fixed them. I will continue to order as I believe this is a fluke. The ribeye was delicious in this order too. I got two pork chops this time but haven’t fixed them yet. Thank you for making this easy to get good healthy meat and help our farmers.

The steak is nice and it taste great. I stop buying food from the grocery stores because we are at a time where we can’t trust nothing. But their meat is free of harming me from eating it.

Best Pancakes

It is hard to say which mix was better. The whole kit was just fantastic. Wholesome organic ingredients. Both mixes made about a dozen 6 to 8 inch pancakes, which were not to dense and not too fluffy; just right. The pancakes soaked up the maple syrup quite nicely. The syrup is great, and not just the taste. The syrup is not thick and super sticky which made washing the dishes easy. I highly recommend this kit.

Best Grass Fed Ground Beef & Chicken Breasts

I knew that when I cut into your chicken breast in order to make cutlets that I had a tender piece of chicken in my hand. I could tell just by how the knife was cutting. And indeed, it was very tender and tasty. And your grass fed beef is the best my husband and I ever had. You can be sure we will be ordering again. Thank you.

Hartstone farms hamburger is a must try

Purchased my first 5 pounds of Heartstone Farms hamburger the taste far exceeds anything I can purchase in my local grocery store. I made meatballs for my son-in law who happens to be an executive chef in a local restaurant after eating them he asked me what I did different. Same recipe but the hamburger was Heartstone Farms “ that was the difference.”

Affordable local option

When faced with finding quality meat, there are some options but they are usually fairly expensive. While you are still paying for the quality with Heartstone, the meat box still makes it attainable. The ground beef and blueberry breakfast sausage are delicious! The chicken breast also cooked up well. It makes me feel good to support a farm in my state and not have to buy grassfed meat from Brazil that's sold at Walmart.

Chicken thighs

These chicken thighs are great. Packed full of flavor with a decent amount of fat that melts away as it cooks. My favorite way to have these now that spring is here is on the barbecue. The skins crisp up beautifully and the meat stays moist and tender. I really enjoy these a lot.

Crunchy mom here with a newborn baby to breast feed. I’m very, very careful about my nutrition these days. These chicken breasts taste delicious and are obviously the real thing. Juicy and tender every time. I used to buy organic chicken from Trader Joe’s Joe’s and after eating Heartstone’s chicken, realized the Trader Joe’s one tasted like organic rubber.
