Love the meats but shipping has gotten later and later. This is the second time it took over a week for my items to ship. It took more than 9 days to get my last order and I had to reach out to them to get an update. They said that they had items out of stock. I am a VIP member. I have had a subscription for over a year and they didn’t think to notify anyone of the issues that they were having or send a quick update. I know they are farmers but they are business owners too. They need to step it up on the customer service.

Awesome Smoked Salmon Spread

We absolutely love this smoked salmon spread. It is very flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. Not at all too salty. This is a perfect spread to provide for an appetizer with crackers or on a charcuterie board with pita bread. Only thing that would make it better is if it was in a larger container:)

Simply Better

Heartstone chicken breasts are better than any we’ve ever had. One look at the color of the breasts tells you these are simply different, simply better. They require virtually no trimming and the fact that we are supporting humane farming by small family farmers is a wonderful bonus! We don’t buy poultry from any other source. In fact, we don’t buy any meat product anywhere else but from Heartstone because we want to be sure of the process and the product. Heartstone is truly farm to table.

I was a little nervous about having my beef order ship up here from New Jersey and in a truck for 2 days, but it arrived in good shape, still some dry ice in the box even though we've had hot weather. The beef was frozen solid. No complaints. The packaging was neat and clean and I'm happy.

Loving the Butter

Heartstone Farms butter is soft creamy with a touch of sweet. The logs are perfect for slicing if you are baking. I have it sent to me with every order. My family loves it.

I love this shaved steak option. I use it most often when I'm pressed for time and need a flavorful protein. It thaws quickly in cold water and I've used it for tacos/fajitas/etc, sauté with vegetables, a quick 'clean out refrigerator' soup/stew. So many uses, and always rave reviews from my family. Consider using it in place of ground beef or stew beef.

Delicious Bacon the Whole Family Loves!

We absolutely love the bacon from Hearthstone Farms\! It’s delicious, flavorful, and cooks up beautifully with just the right balance of crispiness and tenderness\. My kids especially love it, which is always a big win in our house\! One of our favorite things to do is have breakfast for dinner on those nights when we don’t feel like making a traditional meal\. A Dutch pancake, some eggs, and this bacon makes for an easy dinner that everyone gets excited about\. It’s become a family favorite\! You can really tell the quality makes a difference, and we’ve been very happy with it\. Definitely bacon we’ll be enjoying again\!

Much cheaper and better quality than buying from a pet store. Perfect size to either give to the pup or use to cook. My dog looks horrified and absolutely betrayed every time I drop one in a stock pot. She gets one a week… it’s great for her teeth!

NO MORE FAKE GROUND BEEF

It was love at first bite, for me. Let me tell you, the food industry is not watching out for your health. Preservatives, additives like water! Huh? Yeah water. When you fry that grocery store ground beef, what do think all that liquid is that pools around your patty - WATER - but NOT WITH HEARTSTONE FARM STEAK BURGER PATTIES. It's all meat and no food dyes to keep it looking pretty. This is pure, unadulterated BEEF and it is GREAT. Hands down, Heartstone Farm is a my choice for fresh frozen from the farm products.

The pork chop was the best I've ever tasted. The other items were also great.

The beef is always fresh, tender and delicious. My orders are received well packaged with rarely any defrosting at the time of arrival. Highly recommend the ribeye steaks and New York strip steaks. Pork chops are wonderful too!

Ground Dark Turkey and Ground Beef

What to do for a light meal? I like to blend the ground beef and turkey. Add veg, onions, seasonings and add to a salad of cabbage, cilantro, red onion, cukes, etc. Delicious and not at all greasy!

After buying disappointing chicken from multiple grocery brands (even organic ones), Heartstone Farm’s pasture-raised chicken breasts stand out. The meat has richer color, holds together during cooking, and actually tastes like real chicken—not the bland, rubbery texture I've gotten elsewhere. Knowing the birds were raised humanely makes a difference too. This is now my only go-to for chicken. Highly recommend!

I always buy from this company! If I ever had any issues they addressed it even though it was Fed Ex fault! Also I had gout! I noticed that it was worse buying store meat but since switching the problem has been better and leaving! Makes you think it might be the meat in the grocery stores!

Half of order was not shipped - got short ribs instead of st. Louis ribs- and no pumpkin pies - I was fully reimbursed, but would rather have had the ribs and pies - the short ribs I received where terrible, I know they are fatty , but the amount of fat on these short ribs was ridiculous-,bought better ribs at grocery store- I have purchased many times in the past and was always pleased with products I received

A taste treat you will enjoy

I am an experienced consumer of salmon spread. Overall, this is one of the more outstanding examples of flavorful smoked fish spreads I have tasted and has a wonderful freshness. Put it at room temperature about 20 minutes before serving and it spreads very well, even on crisp rice crackers (a wonderful combination). I highly recommend it.

I like the meat; it’s fresh, has a very good flavor, and you can trust that the animals served at your table were natural raised, with no antibiotics or added growth hormones.

The ribeyes I have been receiving are paper thin. Really disappointing. Meat quality overall has been great. Disappointed in the ribeyes though
