My sampler arrived on my doorstep and the meat was still frozen. We have already enjoyed the burger patties. Wow! Best homemade burger my husband has ever made. We’re having the ribeye tonight—we’re too excited to wait. Our box arrived with a handwritten note from Farmer Dan. People just don’t do business like this anymore. Refreshingly different. Heartstone Farm meats are amazing. Over the past couple years I’ve been having a hard time finding quality grass fed meat for my family. We picked this up for a combination birthday party two leos in true leo fashion ! We actually heard a hush throughout the party when the brisket was passed around everyone was blissed out….. we cooked that 10 pound piece for 15 hours salt/pepper no trimming. Everything was cooked on a traegar pellet grill slow and low with tons of smoke & I actually fed a crew of carpenters as well from what was still in that box after the massive birthday party brisket was gone….two spatchcock chickens , one large ribs rack & two packages of the ground steak burgers ….. its truly the gift that keeps on giving ! We were very pleased with our first order. It arrived on time (although it didn't need to travel far) and was still semi to fully frozen upon arrival. Haven't used the chicken yet but the beef was tender and flavorful even with my limited grilling skills. Looking forward to trying additional items in my next order.

My first try at barbecuing a brisket, I followed farmer Dan’s recommendation to cook grass fed beef a little bit less than you might cook a commercially sold brisket. It came out beautifully. Excellent beef flavor and very tender. I will be buying it again.

We just tried the breakfast sausage with pancakes. They are well seasoned, juicy and just a very good clean tasting product. We ordered one package just to try, I am picky about seasoning, but again that was spot on. We will be putting these in our regular order rotation. Next we will try the bacon!

The ground pork was very good, my kid just left for college and took some left overs.

Great chicken! You can always tell when a hen has been raised with love and care — the "old ashioned" way. The meat is firm but still moist and tasty. You can taste the difference however you cook it. I am a confirmed customer for the long haul.

Unfortunately this steak was Very disappointing it was very tough we grilled medium rare.Your rib eye steak was excellent.

Tomahawk ribeyes were amazing! This is the third time I have ordered these. When I saw they were put of the $99 dollar bundle it was a no brainer. I seared them on both sides snd then finished indirect heat until medium rare. Salt and pepper for seasoning and garlic rosemary butter to finish.

I just had my first taste of the breakfast sausages that farmer Dan offers! They were the meatiest, most flavorful breakfast sausages I’ve ever had. I taste the spice of a typical breakfast sausage without the added fillers. You just get the great flavor of the pork. Just excellent.

This is quality aged ground beef from Farmer Dan with prompt shipping and packaging. We use this product for our meatloaf supper and it is perfect.

This shaved steak is AMAZING! Wonderful flavor like all the beef but also extremely lean and tender.

Filet Mignon were delicious!

Getting boxes of meat delivered right to your front door is awesome. But having the meat taste absolutely delicious on top of it is a win. If you regularly buy meat this is the way to go.

I ordered the Farmer Dan's Chicken Grilling Bundle and am extremely please with the variety of cuts and the quality. While most comments seem to focus on the great quality (and I definitely agree with them), I want to mention the shipping and communications. Both were highly professional and efficient. I received email messages at each staged to keep me informed, from my initial order to final delivery. The chicken was so well packed that everything was still frozen solid. Most of the packing materials can be recycled and/or composted, and I will be reusing the cold packs/pads. I am truly impressed!

We are very pleased with the quality of the meat from Hea tstone farms. So far we have had ground beef and the shaved beef. There is no wasted product. For instance the shaved meat is so lean, minimal fat. We would normally get 2 sandwiches with a pound we purchased in the store. Because the meat is so lean, there is no waste. We were able to make 3 full sandwiches with 1 pound. Its hard to describe but the taste is pure and clean tasting. So many of the products that are available in the supermarkets have been in the case for who knows how long, and what "preservatives " have been added. With the meat we have tried so far, there is no after taste. The meat is just plain delicious and worth the investment. Can't wait to place our next order. Leanne

Five stars!! We recently ordered 10 packs of shaved beef during a “stock up” special. We had this before and when the specials come up we order extra for family members. Everyone loves it! Excellent lamb product arrived in beautiful shape. The cyrovac packaging which was then shipped inside a well insulated box protected the meat quality, with it arriving frozen even on a very hot day. It thawed well in our refrigerator meat drawer. The kebabs were nice and lean but cooked up juicy and flavorful---just the way we like it. We have had a fairly hard time finding Maine grown pasture raised lamb and thus are thrilled with Farmer Dan and the Heartstone Farm business. Thanks.

Beat lamb I have ever had. I don’t usually eat lamb but my boyfriend wanted some and this lamb was so delicious. Would definitely purchase again.

Once I tried your ground beef I can’t buy ground beef from the Supermarket. I mix the beef with chopped garlic, onion powder and two tablespoons of spaghetti sauce. Then I pan fry a burger. The taste is delicious!

I initially thought that the lamb steaks were a bit expensive for their size, but when I braised them, they came out silky, succulent, tender, and super flavorful. There was a good amount of bone marrow in there too! Worth every penny.

I don't normally make pork pie this time of year, but I couldn't resist. The ground pork is very clean tasting, and absolutely delicious.

Tender, great flavor and definitely worth the money

The quality of the meat is very high, the recent order of T-bone steaks was delivered to my door by their own truck. We grilled two of the steaks, the taste was delicious but could not eat all at one sitting. The steaks were quite large over one pound each. What great taste served with grilled portabella mushrooms and zucchini.

Everything we've had from Heartstone Farm from has been delicious!! The Osso Buco is definitely a favorite, we can't wait for our next order! Thank you, Farmer Dan and the whole Heartstone team!!

Ordered this bundle thinking I'm getting great value. Received exactly same quantity as if I ordered each separately. Meat is very flavorful but some pieces are tough. 8 lb of chicken for $99. Way too expensive, won't be ordering again.

My daughter introduced me to Heartstone farm on Thanksgiving 2019 and I’m hooked. It just gets better and better. I was already a huge fan of the beef and chicken, and have now tried the pork - some sweet Italian sausage, some ground pork, and am saving the pork chops for next “Sunday dinner.” The difference in flavor and quality between this meat and what you get in the grocery store is night and day! My husband loves pork chops and I won’t even buy them at the grocery store anymore because they are gray and you can tell they’ve been kicking around in a freezer for way too long. Add to the meat/poultry tasting “the way it should be,” (see what I did there?) it’s so easy to order from the comfort of your home and feels good to support local farms.
