As usual, the meat and chicken are wonderful. Filet mignon was the best I ever had! Products are always delicious, come perfectly packaged and are delivered in a very timely manner. The service is always impeccable. Great company and great product.

I am admittedly a purest when it comes to many things, sausages included. So when my wife told me she purchased some blueberry and maple sausage links, I wrinkled up my nose. The following Saturday morning, I cooked them up and was pleasantly surprised. The sausage was excellent, with the perfect balance of blueberry and maple flavor. I may have to rethink this whole purest thing.

These are the best burgers I've ever had -- at home or in a restaurant or anywhere. Everything I order from Heartstone Farm is great, but these burgers stand out. I don't eat much red meat anymore, but when I do, I want it to be worth it. These are well worth it!

I absolutely love heartstone farm. I can order online, receive my order fairly quickly and get great quality meat. I make a ton of meat stocks weekly and I rely on only the best bones and liver. THIS IS A GREAT SOURCE. They are also local and I support my local farmers who raise healthy livestock in an ethical manner. Free range cows are also GOOD for the environment. ;) Because hey, wouldn't you know it? They fuel the soil. So I would say stop spending money on days old cheap meat, that has god knows what in it, that's not energy efficient, and is often raised in deplorable conditions to start supporting locally raised Maine meat chalk loaded with all of natures finest fat soluble vitamins and minerals to produce better health and well being. Don't listen the 'science'. Meat is good for you! But if you're going to get it? Get it from the best source. :) Love these guys. Keep up the good work Dan!

Hands down the best pork chops I’ve ever had.

Have gone through about half of the Maine Box from Heartstone Farm and have enjoyed it immensely. The meat arrived frozen, was packaged extremely well and tastes great. I’m looking forward to ordering a 1/4 or 1/2 cow next. Ground beef especially is superb. I appreciate that they try to honor specific requests when possible as well. Will recommend to friends and purchase again myself.

Short Rib Plate was awesome, smoked them and they were delicious. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star, was there was a lot of fat/grisle along the bone an on top of the plate that has to be trimmed/removed before cooking. Once cooked was less meat than I expected from 2 plates of short ribs. Price was a little high for the amount of meat you get out the 2 plates. Sorry about that but the over all out come is a solid 4 star.

The pork butt was delicious! I cooked it on low in the crockpot for a good 7 hours, and it's so tender and juicy!

Quality meat at a reasonable price. Flavor is out of the world for a grass fed grass finished beef. My wife and kids usually will not eat grass fed meat due to "gammy" smell and toughness, but this product is very tender and less gammy. Customer service was supeep.

Short ribs had a good taste. The ribs were very fatty, I would trim them next time. We slow cooked them in the crackpot, if I was blind floded, I would have said I was eating chuck roast, maybe due to cooking them in the crackpot. I would spend the money on them again, just too much fat for me. They had a pretty good taste.

I received my order of the grass fed osso buco 2 days ago. I was nervous because I never cooked it myself before. I followed a recipe I found from Epicurean. It was THE BESt osso buco I ever had even better than the one I had in Milano, Italy. The meat itself was juicy and flavorful and after 2 hours of braising it fell off the bone. My family couldn’t have enough of it. I will definitely order more and cook it more often. Thank you Farmer Dan and crew. You are the best

Best marrow bones around. Great for bone broth

We enjoyed the flavor of the steak tips but they were a little chewy after a short time in the marinade. Next time we will marinate longer.

So my husband and I thought it was funny how all the reviews talk about how the ground beef tasting the way it should until we got our first cow share and realized that it was true. The quality, marbeling, customer service and even the packaging is top notch from Heartstone Farm and we plan on ordering another share when we have some freezer room available!

If chicken is your thing, this chicken bundle is the way to go. You get it all and your guests or family have access to whatever pieces float their boat! This is in a different class altogether with store bought chicken along with all the rest of their products. Because of the freshness these chickens and meats cook faster then store bought. These burgers are phenomenal, stove top or on the grill. They take just a few minutes, and the beef is wonderful and pure. If you’re looking for pre sized burgers, look no further!

I recently went to a high end steak house in Omaha, Nebraska where they serve only the top 2% of beef in the nation, it was absolutely delicious. I tell this story because Heartstone farms beef is darn close in quality of taste. I have no doubts that if cooked by the same chef, farmer Dan's beef would equal that of the restaurant, and that is a bold statement.

Sausage was amazing! Flavor was spot on. I thought the casing was tough to cut and stringy but I did not pre-cook the sausage before utilizing it in the dish I was making to grill.

We recently ordered and received a cow share from Heartstone Farm. We are extremely happy with the quality of the meat. We've had shares from other farms and the meat was less than good, mostly very chewy with little flavor. So far our share from Farmer Dan exceeds our expectations. The steaks we've eaten have been tender, juicy and flavorful. The ground beef has just the right amount of fat to insure juicy burgers, but not so fatty that you lose half the volume to grease. I have trouble digesting beef from cows that are factory farmed and not 100% grass fed, but absolutely no trouble with the beef from Heartstone Farm. We highly recommend Heartstone Farm!

Maybe we’re lazy, but it’s more likely that it’s the REALLY delicious flavor of the fajita strips that keeps us coming back for more. Add some onion and bell pepper strips; saute together, add to a small flour tortilla and VOILA! You are eating amazing fajitas. We usually combine the fajita packets with the best hamburgers. Yum!

Excellent pork chops!!

The meat is fantastic. It comes frozen in small packages that are easy to handle. My husband and I enjoyed the chicken that we purchased this time. It was flavorful and didn't have the odor that some store bought chicken has when cooked. Last time we ordered the lamb and it was tasty and fell off the bone. We have not been disappointed with this meat service.

The Hickory Smoked Bacon is delicious. It is so much better than supermarket packaged bacon. Once you try this Hickory Smoked Bacon you will never settle for supermarket bacon again, it's that good.

I'm sorry to say I was not happy with the bacon. There was far more fat on it than I would ever buy, nothing like the meaty version in the photo and very little smoke flavor. There was about 1/2 cup of fat in the pan after cooking 4 slices. I would not buy it again, but will certainly continue to get the excellent beef.

I’m on the carnivore diet and this ground beef has quickly become my go to meal. It’s the best tasting burger I’ve had. Fried up with some bacon fat and Redmond’s real salt, delicious!
