Although these were very impressive to look at the tenderness of the meat did not blow my socks off. I usual method for thick ribeyes is a reverse sear. These came out a little tough with some pretty grissley areas. But the flavor was good. I will try these again anyway.

The beef provided by Heartstone Farm is beyond excellent. The rib-eye steaks displayed a lovely marble uncommon in grass-fed beef, and my wife declared the brisket the best I've ever made. I will be buying more Heartstone Farm beef.

Heartstone Farm has the highest quality beef I have ever purchased. I have only had one experience when part of my order was not delivered. Farmer Dan made sure the package was at my door the next day. The beef is a bit fattier than the average grass-fed beef which I think is a major plus. I bought the Maine Box (34 lbs of beef) recently and not one week later I had to buy 15 pounds of ground beef. My wife typically eat 2 lbs of the ground beef everyday. Can not see myself switching to a different farm.

The meat was packed and butchered well and cooked up really nice on the grill.

These chicken legs were so delicious on the grill. So fresh and tender, not like the rubbery chicken at the grocery store. Only farm to table for us.

OMG.....this was the best roast I have ever had. It was so tender that it you could cut it with your fork.

Among the samplers, I like the T-bone the most as the meat is fresh, tender and flavorful. Tomahawk ribeye was impressive. I cooked a Tomahawk ribeye for Father's day and it was amazing. Seared it on both sides and slow roasted on the grill with indirect heat for about 30 mins and it came out perfect.

The meat is very fresh and healthy and you can tell the amount of care put into it throughout the entire process from farming to processing, packaging and shipping. Excellent beef flavor.

Ordered the whole brisket and rib eyes and porter house. Beautifully marbled meet. Best brisket I have ever smoked. Burnt ends we out of this world. Reverse seared the steaks and they were phenomenal also. Taste and tenderness were awesome. Would have been 5 starts but the porterhouse was thinner than expected. Only the smallest steaks were available so I guess this was to be expected. I find anything less than 1” thick to be difficult to sear. All in all excellent meat.

I love all of your Chicken! I soak my Clay Pot and roast the whole and Spatchcock Chicken at 400 degrees with herbs and a touch of olive oil. The meat is moist and tasty. I plan to grill the Chicken thighs and make Cacciatore sauce with the legs. The flavor is much better than store bought!

I have tried the rib eye steak and the Hamburg. Both were the best I ever tasted. My son-in-law had the T-bone steak and was really impressed. Will definitely be ordering again. Better to have less meat but better quality. Worth the price!

Best drumsticks ever!

Love everything I’ve had from this box so far. Brisket was an exceptional cut of meat & ground beef easily best around. The spatchcock chicken is perfect on smoker. Only thing left to try is the short ribs & I already know they’ll be great Heartstone Farm never disappoints.

The short ribs are on the long side; 12-14 inches long. Needs loooong slow cooking; 3-4 hours. Tasty.

Spatchcock chicken is great. I had never heard of it before I ordered it from Farmer Dan. It is easy to cook and cooks much more quickly then a whole roast chicken. It is essentially a whole roast chicken that is flattened out/butterflied! :-) :-) And this one from Farmer Dan is just delicious! Highly recommend.

I received my Maine Box recently and it arrived beautifully. What fun unboxing all the individually vacuum packed selections. They were all still frozen solid and a nice card from Farmer Dan was included as well as a sample of some Maine salt. Being on a carnivore diet, I dove right in and had a pound of burger the next day cooked in a skillet with butter, salt, and pepper. I had been buying grass fed from the grocery store previously, which was good, but I could immediately taste the difference. Dans burger is much tastier. It has just the right amount of fat and was delicious. The ribeye was the best I’ve ever had. Great marbling of fat. We have a roast out thawing for Sunday dinner next. I expect that to bequally delicious. Another Maine Box is in our future, real soon!
