Turkey Meatloaf

Baked the turkey meatloaf over the weekend in the oven until the inside temperature reached 160 degrees, then broiled getting the top nice and crispy. This was a fabulous dinner along with the meatloaf sandwich the following day 😁

I’m used to getting my meat organic and delivered. Was using butcher box for many years and their meat was coming from Australia. It changed over the years and the meats were tough. so I decided to go on the hunt for a local farm that I can get my meat poultry and pork from. I came across a farm in Maine! in the meantime I was buying steak from the store. Which I hate… my body can feel the difference. What a difference, the steak chicken and pork has been amazing so far.. you can even see the difference in color. I look forward to supporting this local USA farmer. If you wanna try it. I love this dang pie!

I was happy to see it offered as a selection in my subscription because I have purchased this pie in the store (same price) - and it is delicious! seriously - this gluten free crust is better than any regular crust. The ingredients are good-- there isn't really anything funky in it to make me turn my nose up (artificially speaking). The blueberries are maine wild ones so they are tasty little morsels of deliciousness. Overall this pie is a YOU HAVE TO TRY IT.

Rib-Eye

Ordered four 16oz Rib Eyes for Christmas this year. I was alarmed at the relative thinness of the steak. I prefer three times the thickness for Rib Eyes, but they were probably the best tasting steaks I have ever eaten. I will order again and maybe I can request the cut to my liking. We wanted to avoid questionable grocery store meat, where you can never find the combination of organic and pasture raised. Heartstone meats seem fresher, tastier, and even more affordable than a grocery option for certain things. We will be repeat customers for sure!

I prepare the scallops as an appetizer. Four scallops is sufficient. The one pound package is too big. A 1/4 pound package would be ideal. Or freezing the scallops individually would also acceptable.

What I love the most is that its family owned meaning the quality wont ever change! We are on our 3rd box because the meat is so good we just cant get enough. Airfried to Perfection

These drumsticks tick all the boxes. They are economical, easy to season, cook quickly in an air fryer and, most importantly, they come out crisp, juicy and quite delicious. They do well with a little olive oil, garlic salt and pepper, a barbecue rub with a mustard binder, or a tangy chili lime rub. We like to do a rotation, but the meat is always the main attraction.

I wanted to try a more local source to where I live in the north east, I found Heartstone farm through google search and am so pleased with every meat we have tasted in the subscription box. I actually left a bigger subscription company I had been using and am so impressed with the quality, taste and size of each cuts of meat. It’s generous and quality. Our family was so pleased with the first subscription we signed on for a bigger size subscription box. The fajita steak was the first meat we tried, it wasn’t grisly or chewy which we have noticed with other comoanies, it had great flavor, good cut and taste. Highly recommend Heartstone Farm.

Italian Turkey Sausage Soup

I made a potato leek and Sweet Italian turkey sausage soup using the meat we received from Heartstone. I made the soup for a friend who was recovering from surgery and she immediately messaged me saying it was the best soup ever & raving about my cooking. While I may know a thing or two in the kitchen, it was the Sweet Italian turkey sausage that really stole the show and made the soup taste amazing. This was second order of oxtail within last month - first order was exceptional in quality--meaty and trimmed very well --packaging was excellent--second order, not as exceptional --many small pieces, but still very high quality -only complaint is two packages where no longer vacuumed sealed ,although still looked fine - will cook some soon, I'm sure they will be delicious -

Our family loves hot dogs, but let’s face it - their ingredients are typically quite gross. Farmers Dans hot dogs on the other hand, you can taste the real beef! The texture is so much better than grocery store bought ones as well. So delicious!
