I was scrolling through Instagram one day and farmer Dan shows up on my feed. It was the best find on the Internet. I’m always worried about what kind of meat I’m buying at our local grocery stores and Heartstone meat subscription box was just what I was looking for. They are local to me in Maine, and the quality and taste of these meats is unbelievable! The country smoked Bacon is nothing like I’ve tasted before so crispy and thick and delicious! We also really love the blueberry sausage, the Hamburg and the chicken. It brings peace of mind to know exactly where our meat is coming from. This turkey meatloaf was fantastic. I formed it in a tinfoil dish and put an 1/8 inch thick topping of barbecue sauce in the last five minutes of cooking in my air fryer at 400° for 40 minutes.

Food like this is a "matter of taste"

The stew was fine. I have no complaints...however, for my taste, it was less than gteat. I won't be ordering again when I can make a chili myself that I like more. I am sure that many will disagree, but though I warned that I didn't wish to review this chili as I was not impressed...I was asked again to do so. SO, this is my honest review. There is nothing wrong with this chili. It is not, to my taste, a great chili.

Tender Delicious and Generous Portion

Like other Heartstone beef products I’ve enjoyed, the sirloin steak is wonderful - tender, juicy, and flavorful - MUCH BETTER than anything I’ve purchased at my local grocery store. The size of these steaks is wonderful for me because I actually get TWO nutritious portions which means I enjoy each slice of sirloin deliciousness twice (two meals) and that cuts the cost of a steak dinner in half for me.

best gluten free pie

I brought this pie home to share with my parents. My father has celiac so he is a great judge of gluten free products and he loves it. The crust is very good and the pumpkin filling is creamy and delicious. However for my taste I would like to see it a little less sweet , but overall flavor and spices is perfect . Excellent choice for anyone wanting a gluten free pie . Bravo!

Recently had our first delivery. It arrived on time (love being able to track our order), packed in eco friendly containers, delivered right to our front step. Our kids were excited to unpack the “happy animals”, reading the labels aloud, feeling good about humanity knowing these were more than products, but living creatures who would provide our family superior nutrition without the guilt or shame of factory farmed food. Knowing our beef came from Maine and turkey from Vermont made us feel all the more connected to New England and all the beautiful life that comes from there. Perfect Breakfast

We have been looking for good breakfast sausage for a long time, these are not good, they are great!! Browned up in the toaster oven, then used some of the grease for the eggs. Sorry I forgot to take a picture before breaking the yolks!

I really enjoyed the things I have tried which was the bacon the breakfast sausage the ground turkey and the boneless chicken breasts they were all very good. Mistake I was very disappointed in I cooked it perfectly and it was very very chewy crazy chewy I thought it would have been a little thicker and much more tender otherwise everything was great. Also I've already subscribed to receive a box every 2 months but you keep sending me emails to sign up for a subscription when I already have one what I would like to know is how do I alter my box because I don't want a couple of the things that I've already tried I want to try some different items so if you could tell me how I go about doing that that would be wonderful thank you and have a great day

Outstanding Meat!

We recently got a bundle order from Heartstone and it was just amazing. Best burgers ever, they cook up perfect every time. The breakfast sausage are the best we have had, I put them in the toaster oven to brown, then pour some of the fat into a pan to fry the eggs.............so good!! We also got some Denver Steaks, tender and that great meaty flavor, my one tip, souv vide first for two hours at 130, then into a sizzling pan for 30 seconds on each side, all the sides need to brown. You will love it!!

These boneless chicken breasts are so plump that I split them in half for this recipe and it easily fed 4 people. Succulent and tasty!

Everything had a Good Flavor

Burgers were really good, Cheddar Knockworst was also very good, Pumkin pie was ok, but it took an extended amount of time over the directions to bake it to where the pie was firm and crust was edible

Excellent Zesty Italian Sausage

I used the Zesty Italian Sausage to make a lasagna. This sausage has just the right amount of seasonings and 'zest'. There was no gristle normally found in supermarket sausage and much less greasy fat after cooking it for the lasagna. Will definitely keep this on my order. Will make sausage bombs with onions and peppers next time.

I cooked the first package of ground turkey that I received from the farm. I the texture was smooth and it looked fresh and had great color. It cooked up well and tasted great. We will definitely order this again!

Thai was my first time having turkey tenderloins, and they were so good that I will be including them in my orders regularly. They are versatile enough to be eaten in stir frys, curries, stews, or just seared/grilled. Highly recommend.

The preparation advice provided by Heartstone ensured that our meats and poultry were both tasty and tender when cooked according to Heartstone's clear recommendations for cooking. We love that we're not consuming chemicals and antibiotics when eating this meat - just natural and delicious. When we became confused with the reorder process, friendly and patient help was readily available. We use 2 lb of meat when we make hamburgers, so I use 1 of ground beef and 1 of the ancestral beef with organs. You can’t even tell you are getting the organs. I love it plain, but the family likes the mix. Try it!!
