Ancestral Beef is our favorite for every day.

The flavor is unlike just plain old regular store bought hamburger. You feel like you are actually doing something good for your body. It has a rich bodied distinct flavor that reminds me of fresh game like deer. It does not have a strong gamey taste exactly but it is definitely delicious. To begin with, my wife added a pack of regular ground beef with it, she loved it. I can see where this would make some awesome chili. We normally buy organic grass fed hamburger from the store but this beef beats it in flavor.

Really great chicken drumsticks. I've cooked them on the grill, pan fried, and baked in the oven. The quality is very consistent, and the taste is excellent. Always tender and the skin crisps up nicely while the meat stays very tender and juicy. An excellent product!!

I made butter beef in the crockpot with 2 lbs of Hearstone stew beef. It was the most tender, melt in your mouth beef we have ever eaten. I cannot purchase meat from anywhere else, I am spoiled! The customer service and products from Heartstone are the BEST.

Pleasantly surprised

We received our first order, and I wasn't sure what to expect, but I have to say I've been pleasantly surprised. The order arrived quickly. It was frozen with dry ice remaining to keep it that way. Everything was well labeled and well packaged. All that remained was to thaw it in the fridge overnight and it comes out seemingly fresher than what I'd get from the grocery store. All around easy from start to finish!

Just the right thickness....

At 10 ounces these steaks are perfect for a meal for one. They taste great and cook quickly because they are cut at a normal thickness, not way too thick like sometimes sold elsewhere.

The goal is not to “improve” the flavor of the steak, but rather to *enhance* or bring out the flavor of the steak. If you buy a quality cut of meat, there is no need to add a bunch of stuff. The only thing is it’s not that thick. I’m used to getting a thick cut of steak at the butchery. Maybe there could be an option of a thicker size piece or bigger ounce? I just found my supplier of quality meat for life! I am doing Carnivore to fix my fertility and the number one requirement is to find a grass-fed and quality beef. I am so thankful they ship to Dover for free!

Packaging for the Heartsone meats is excellent. The meats are packed in a sturdy cardboard box lined with styrofoam which is also wrapped in plastic. A cardboard pad is placed on top of the meat, then a package of dry ice and a top layer of styrofoam. The meats arrive so frozen that I recommend wearing a pair of gloves to remove meats from the box as the meat packages can really sting your hands where it sometimes feels like it is burning your fingers.

I didn't just want to put it in a pan and fry it, so I waited for my chance to fire up the grill. And boy was this steak worth the wait! It's been a while since the wife and I have been to a restaurant, but by my recollection, it was as good as, or better than any we've ever had. There was some left over, and the wife said it was even great cold.

Not only a delicious collaboration with Mainly Grains with two boxes of pancake mix but Maine maple syrup and the best blueberry breakfast sausage. Always in my box, but made so much better with the added extras for a perfect pancake breakfast.
