Grass Fed Chuck Steak

Hi, I received my meat from Heartstone farms about a week ago. The first steak I tried was the Chuck steak. Prior to grilling it I marinated it with Steak and Chop marinade and.seasoned it with Kinders prime steak seasoning which contains black truffle and garlic. As soon as I tried it I immediately noticed how juicy and flavorful the steak was. The only blemish was it’s not quite as tender as a Ribeye or Filet, but that’s bc of the type of steak it is. All in all I was really satisfied with my steak and I’m excited to try the rest of my box. Sean

Honestly, I don’t eat the beef heart. I feed it to my dog. I put it in the crockpot, then I slice it up for her. I love being able to feed my dog organ meat without chemicals from a farm that I trust!

Delicious tender chicken

Absolutely delicious. Meaty, juicy and one of my absolute favorites. Little bit of Salt and pepper. Cooked them on the grille until Golden brown crisp. No sauce, just the taste of free range chicken.

Tender, Juicy, and Generous Portions

Aside from the very high quallity of the beef itself, what I enjoy most about these burgers is the fact that each is a generous size - one-third pound apiece. The quarter-pounder burgers I used to eat now seem “dinky” by comparison and, of course, those store-bought burgers pale in comparison to the hearty and delicious burgers I’ve been enjoying from Heartstone Farms since I became a farm subscriber last fall.

Sirloin Tip Steak

The Sirloin tip steak from Heartstone Farm is very good. The attached picture shows the steak thawed and in a 1-gallon freezer zip lock bag with marinade. I just rub the steak with vegtable oil, salt, pepper and dried rosemary from last years garden. Will let marinade overnight to cook tomorrow. I have started using the sous vide function on my Ninja foodi and will do this with the Sirloin tip steak. When it is done in the sous vide, will do a quick sear on both sides. I have cooked it once before using this method and it came out excellent - nice and juicy and tender. My 5-year old granddaughter who is a very picky eater Loves the steak cooked in this manner.

Full of flavor

I quite often use ground pork instead of ground beef, and Heartstone Farms ground pork did not disappoint. I used it to make my macaroni soup and it had so much flavor and little fat. I will definitely be ordering this again!

Melt in your mouth

Shaved steak is so delicious! We use this to make the most delicious steak and cheese sandwiches, stuffed peppers and stir fry.

With barbecue season approaching we decided to try the burgers patties and they did not disappoint! They were delicious and sure to be a regular on our summertime orders.

Ribeye Steak

The ribeye steak was very fresh and tender. My only issue is that it was on the thin side for a steak. I understand it is only a 10 ounce steak so that would result in a thinner steak. I grilled it on a weber grill and had a difficult time getting medium rare because of the thickness. Next time I would use a cast iron skillet to get a more even result. Maybe if they offered a thicker 20 ounce steak using two choices that would probably be ideal. I am truly happy with the quality of all the meat I purchased from Heartstone Farm and will continue to order the Farmer Dan box from them. MB

The 10 oz. Sirloin is to die for. It has great flavor, it's tender; and the perfect size for one person. I like this steak so much that my entire next order will be 10 oz. Sirloin.

We tried the burger patties for the first time this week, and they were delicious like all the Heart stone products in my new subscription. The patties we received do not look like those in the picture above, however. They were thinner and larger in diameter. Patties more like those in the picture would be an improvement and would get 5 stars.

A seriously great steak

The Rib Eye steaks were flavorful and tender. It is important to us to eat as well as we can. We buy our meat from Hearthstone because we can trust that the animals are treated well, fed only grass and no chemicals.

Chicken thighs

We definitely are fans of the chicken thighs we get! They usually have less skin than the ones from the store, but somehow they do taste fresher. I guess they are happier birds! The size can vary a bit. Sometimes we get 1lb packages and this time we got one that was almost 2lbs, so there is some variability. Whether they are big or small, they are still super tasty! I look forward to trying them out on the grill!

Taco Joes

The Chop meat has such a good flavor compared to store bought. Perfect for Burgers, Meatloaf, and what I call Taco Joes. I brown the meat and use both taco seasoning and sloppy Joe mix, add a little extra chili powder and you have yummy tacos or sloppy joes.

I was using another company, but they got my addresses mixed up so I was hunting for another place to buy my meat and I came across Heartstone Farm and My, My, My. Prepared the top sirloin the other night on the grill and it was so tender and delicious. No marinade, no salt no pepper no seasonings whatsoever and it was delicious and mouthwatering. Will definitely order again.

This is great bacon. I grew up on a farm and we raised our own hogs so I'm used to quality pork, and this is good pork. It cooks up very nicely. I will order some more next time.

Best Ground Beef I have ever had!

We have been ordering from Heartstone for a year now and I must say the ground beef is the best. High quality and absolutely delicious!

The steak burgers are by far the very best burgers I have ever eaten. Patties are large with minimal shrinkage when cooked. They are pricy but when we have no digestive issues after eating them (like we have with store bought burgers) then the cost is irrelevant to us. Thank you Heartstone for such quality meat products!

Chicken As It Should Taste

We bought a whole chicken to roast - beautifully plump, not pumped with water, strong bones and incredibly tasty. After stripping the meat I made a delicious broth from the carcass. At a time when quality is hard to find, this is worth every dollar. Better to eat better, less often!

Best ground beef I've ever tasted

Ordered just a sample of 4 ribeyes, 15 burger patties and added this 5lbs of ground beef. Made burgers, and meatloaf out of the ground beef so far and it is fantastic! I will be doing an ongoing subscription very soon.

My First Order

The bacon, burgers, and chips we have eaten are very good. The 10 ounce steak that I ordered, I have not tried yet but it is too expensive for such a small steak to order again. Still have the chicken and steak to eat. I have a 4 star due to the small steak and big price. Very tasty meats.
