Best stew beef!

I used the stew/kebab meat to make a crock pot beef stew that was so flavorful and tender I almost couldn't believe it. No searing necessary! This is definitely my go to for stew from now on !

The best filet I’ve ever had!!!

My wife has become a bit of a filet connoisseur. We’ve ordered from other farms and been extremely disappointed. This steak was far superior in terms of taste, texture, portion not to mention knowing that we were getting good, clean, grass fed beef. We have been searching for a place that can deliver on the things that matter to us most, we think we finally found that farm. On another note, it was so easy to order. I placed my order on a Tuesday, that Friday the food was at our door. I couldn’t recommend this place any higher!

Hgih Quality

The products that came in my first order were all high quality meats. The breakfast sausage was like those you get at fancy hotel restaurants. The steaks were deep red, and fresh. We tried a couple of the pies and Blueberry is amazing!

Best ground beef around

Out of all the ground meats I've had, Heartstone Farm Premium Ground Beef is the best and the cleanest. No fillers, no gluten. Juicy meatloaf, burgers etc... all the best! So glad I made the choice to buy my meats, poultry and pork from Heartstone Farm, clean products for a clean lifestyle!

What can I add about the quality, taste and freshness of Farmer Dan's products? First my order arrived sooner - and packaged with dry ice — better that any previous company I have ordered meat from! Loved the materials i received in box also. As for the products themselves, wonderful! So far the grass fed hamburgers, rhubarb-strawberry pie and bacon have been truly exceptional! Can't wait to taste the chicken tonight, and rib eye steak later this week. Count me impressed!

Excellent Deal on Ground Beef

On a recent order I opted for the 5lb package @ 45.00. The ground is perfect for burgers, meatloaf, chili etc. The flavor is excellent. At 9.00 / lb it’s a bargain for high quality beef that I depend on from Heartstone.

I like this shortrib!

The shortrib is very good. For the same price I can only purchase some not that great shortrib at the supermarket. But at here I can have the 100% grass-finished shortrib with better taste!

On monday memorialday we grilled the strip steaks they were really good,we also had the blueberry pie which was excellant,I wish I could send a picture like you requested but you were a day late on your request by then the pie was history lol,there were no leftovers and even the tin had been discarded maybe nextime, I will be ordering again

Flavorful cut

The sirloin is a very flavorful cut. Definitely the toughest of all the cuts we’ve had, but don’t pass over it because of that. I recommend tenderizing with a marinade before cooking. Thick cuts cooks up perfectly and flavor is outstanding!

My family eats quite a bit of chicken (especially now that grill season is upon us), and heartstone farm chicken thighs are some of our favorite pieces to eat. Always juicy and flavorful, you can taste the difference. We love them!

Ground Beef

I enjoyed the ground beef that was part of my subscription box. I made delicious hamburgers with the ground beef this time around and they were so good. I like my burgers thick and juicy so the prepackaged burgers I got in my first box were too thin and I did not reorder them. It is just my preference - the meat was still great.

You learned from research that liver are one of the best sources of minerals and vitamins that you could get when you are trying to get pregnant. I am very excited to try this and I stocked up and put it in our freezer.

Heartstone Grass fed beef...

I recently ordered a number of different items from Heartstone Farms. I especially enjoyed their grass fed burgers that come 3 to a pack. We think they are much better than the ones from our local grocery store. Their steaks are very tasty although of a thin cut so not for the Bar-b-que... Everything ships in dry ice and is very well packed! We have also gotten chicken legs and pork chops which we have yet to try. (It all comes frozen and these meats are still in my freezer along with a strawberry rhubarb pie!) I like skipping the middle man. This is a good way to buy healthy grass fed meat. I'd recommend this farm. I like their philosophy and service! I will use them again!

Turkey Tenderloins

The Turkey Tenderloins were excellent. So much better than what I buy at the grocery store. Will continue to order from Heart Stone!

Latest order

I have been truly enjoying my box I receive every other month so was looking forward to its arrival. It was received when it was supposed to, packed well, dry ice still enough to keep my 10 items frozen. This is the first time I was a little disappointed. One issue was the pack of shaved steak. It was not vacuumed sealed like everything else so bits of frozen meat or dried blood was loose in the package so left me wondering if it had partially thawed or the seal had been punctured, then refrozen. The other issue was one of the packages of chicken breasts. Both packages are very large breasts, larger than anything I’ve gotten from you before. I cook and eat a lot of chicken. This first one was tough, not very tasty.. the one still in the freezer from this order is even larger, so I’m a little concerned. The chicken breasts in my previous orders always were tender and tasty regardless of how I fixed them. I will continue to order as I believe this is a fluke. The ribeye was delicious in this order too. I got two pork chops this time but haven’t fixed them yet. Thank you for making this easy to get good healthy meat and help our farmers.

We turned to Heartstone Farms after striking out with local farms—either no whole chickens available or prices that just didn’t make sense. We didn’t want to settle for a lower-quality option, and we’re so glad we found Heartstone. The chicken arrived quickly, looked incredibly clean and healthy (my wife was genuinely impressed), and the first one we cooked was absolutely delicious. Definitely our new go-to for quality, farm-raised organic chicken.

Real food

The steak is nice and it taste great. I stop buying food from the grocery stores because we are at a time where we can’t trust nothing. But their meat is free of harming me from eating it.

Way better than expected!!

We literally did a taste comparison from meat that we purchased at our local big box store versus what came in our order and there was literally no comparison!! Very pleasantly surprised by the breakfast sausage that literally had fresh blueberries in the casing and tasted absolutely amazing! We live in New Jersey and often go to a butcher in Pennsylvania, but it’s not always convenient and easy to drive two hours so this was a great alternative. We’ve been transitioning our cats to a raw food diet and literally shared some turkey tenderloin with them and they devoured a whole cutlet! Cat approved!! we cannot wait until our next order which a few things out!

Affordable local option

When faced with finding quality meat, there are some options but they are usually fairly expensive. While you are still paying for the quality with Heartstone, the meat box still makes it attainable. The ground beef and blueberry breakfast sausage are delicious! The chicken breast also cooked up well. It makes me feel good to support a farm in my state and not have to buy grassfed meat from Brazil that's sold at Walmart.

Chicken thighs

These chicken thighs are great. Packed full of flavor with a decent amount of fat that melts away as it cooks. My favorite way to have these now that spring is here is on the barbecue. The skins crisp up beautifully and the meat stays moist and tender. I really enjoy these a lot.
