I could easily get grass fed beef from big box stores which source their products from Australia or South America why would I. Maine is where my heart is! The pies remind me of what my grandmother and aunts would make at family reunions in the Oxford Hills. They were fabulous bakers so that is high praise! Chicken Breasts are Top Notch!

I love the chicken breasts I got from Hearstone Farm! They are big and one is enough for two people. They are juicy when cooked and the flavor is amazing. I am a retired chef, so know my meats. I have ordered from other subscriptions, but this meat if more local for me, and I like that. No matter how I decide to cook these breasts, I know the end result will be a wonderful meal. Just try them to see what I am telling you! These are the best I have ever eaten!

I was looking for maine grown, grass fed beef and found Heartstone farm. I started out with GF ground beef and liver. It arrived in a few days frozen solid packed in dry ice. So far the ground beef and liver are both excellent. Will definitely buy again.

Crunchy mom here with a newborn baby to breast feed. I’m very, very careful about my nutrition these days. These chicken breasts taste delicious and are obviously the real thing. Juicy and tender every time. I used to buy organic chicken from Trader Joe’s Joe’s and after eating Heartstone’s chicken, realized the Trader Joe’s one tasted like organic rubber. Will be ordering Hesrtstone again for the whole family.

Great Father’s Day Package!

We raised our own beef cattle for eight years and meat chickens for two years. So we know good farm red and white meat. The steaks had that fresh, wholesome taste that we love. Although we do prefer more marbled steak. The pork chops smelled amazing while cooking and were fantastic! Chicken breast was very tasty and juicy. We haven’t tried the bacon, hotdogs or beef patties that we received in the Father’s Day package yet. Ordering was easy and Heartstone’s customer service is above the norm. We will be regular customers for a long time!

Excellent Top Sirloin Steak

The Top Sirloin Steak from Farmer Dan's is excellent. It is a 1 pound 1-1 1/4" thick. For the marinade I used salt, pepper, chopped garlic, fresh thyme, vegetable oil and some red wine in a gallon freezer zip lock bag. Placed it back in the refrigerator to let marinade for several hours. I plan on using the sous vide method and then give it a quick sear either on the grill or stove top. I have used this method before and it comes out EXCELLENT!

Monthly Meat Box

I decided to enroll in a monthly meat box delivery several months ago. We want to support local, small farms and avoid mRNA injected meat(s). We get spicy sausages, leg quarters, kebob meat, steaks, ground beef, pork chops, and chicken thighs. All delicious!!! I have also ordered blueberry breakfast sausage, bacon, and whole chickens. I DON’T MISS THE GROCERY STORE MEAT!!! The packaging is recyclable and/or compostable. Well worth it!!!! Thank you, Heartstone Farm!!!

Best Burger Ever

I’m not a huge fan of burgers because the meat never tastes fresh to me. When I bite into one I’m always waiting for that slight off taste. So when I took a bite of my burger from Heartstone Farms I was expected the same but no! It was the best tasting burger I’ve tasted in a long time! Would Never Go Back!

There is absolutely no comparison with Farmer Dan’s meat and store bought. Not only the flavor but the quality. This is my first year subscribing after having watched documentaries on where our meat comes from commercially. Absolutely revolting and inhumane. However, I am definitely a carnivore and needed to find a solution. I am absolutely incredibly happy with my choice. It’s also cheaper for me than going grocery shopping so win win

Filet Mignon for Father's Day Dinner!

Filet Mignon, fennel & potato cakes, and saute´shrimp make the perfect meal to celebrate... anything. I used my reward points to order the filet mignon and will order it again and again. The cut was perfect for 2 people and I cooked it with a hard sear and then sauteéd it with butter, rosemary, and garlic cloves. A quick finish in the oven and it was nothing short of spectacular. Try it!!

It's nice to know where this food comes from and it's freshness. You take your chances at the grocery stores . Chicken doesnot taste like the chicken I remember. Chop meat has this red dye crap in it. We needed a better food sourse and so far it has not disappointed us for what we purchased.

It's what meat should taste like!

The hamburger meat is so delicious, it's a simple product that when raised right has so much good flavor. One difference I noticed from in comparison to grocery hamburger is how it cooks also, it cooks evenly and stays fresh longer. I like my burgers done..dine and it still is juicy!

Best Pancakes

It is hard to say which mix was better. The whole kit was just fantastic. Wholesome organic ingredients. Both mixes made about a dozen 6 to 8 inch pancakes, which were not to dense and not too fluffy; just right. The pancakes soaked up the maple syrup quite nicely. The syrup is great, and not just the taste. The syrup is not thick and super sticky which made washing the dishes easy. I highly recommend this kit.

I knew that when I cut into your chicken breast in order to make cutlets that I had a tender piece of chicken in my hand. I could tell just by how the knife was cutting. And indeed, it was very tender and tasty. And your grass fed beef is the best my husband and I ever had. You can be sure we will be ordering again. Thank you.
