these thighs are great. nice size. they cook great on bbq and in the oven.very satisfied with the quality.

Meat Box

Excellent products. We’ve have enjoyed the steaks, burgers, and chicken.

But the crust!

Such a great pie. It baked nicely and the crust was very tasty. Not bland, not sweet, just a great compliment to the filling. We had this pie with coffee after a family dinner and everyone loved it.

Late night snack

I made shaved steak and mozzarella sliders for some friends on my Blackstone grill, they were delicious. I recommended they try Hearthstone Farms for their meat. I can't say enough good things about your products.

unexpected extra

Just started with Heartstone Farms and when they added a pie to my order I wasn’t expecting much. But the full size Strawberry Rhubarb pie was delicious! Very flaky crust and lots of fruit in the filling. I would order it in the future.

happy

Ordered for the first time and delivery came quicker than expected ! Really like the way everything was packaged and the free hamburger and pie was a nice surprise ! We haven’t had a chance to sample most of the food but are looking forward to forward to it !

great steak

Do yourself a favor and try a few Rib Eyes They are the best!!!

Best place to purchase your meat

I am so pleased with everything I have purchased from Hearthstone Farm. I am expecally fond of the ground turkey, and any of those sausages! Definitely worth giving them a try!

Burger box

Great box! It was a nice mix of different things. The steak burgers were great. I don't usually like hot dogs, but I liked the one from Hearthstone. They tasted like meat!! I can't wait to try these burgers tonight!

Sirloin Steak

Heartstone has great quality meats, the Sirloin steak will not disappoint!

Now it’s Sir Loin to you!

When we first started cooking sirloin it was tough, but then we found out about grass fed beef vs grain fed beef. Thanks to Farmer Dan’s hints we started marinating our grass fed sirloin steaks. WOW! Tender, juicy and filling. We are grass fed steak people cookin’ up a storm.

Very lean burger patties

I receive the 3 pack of Burgers upon each delivery. The meat is fresh and exceptional. Very lean very little fat which makes them healthy. They cook quickly so keep an eye on them. You can't go wrong with these burgers.

best clean meat, prompt delivery, priced right

I just cannot eat supermarket meat anymore - just the thought of it - ugh! Not after eating clean, natural meat from Heartstone. This is meat like I remember from my childhood before the age of factory farming and gross filler feed. What the animals eat, you eat! Honestly the difference is too huge to even make a comparison! Thank you Heartstone!

Great product

This strawberry rhubarb pie was delicious. Packed full of flavor, the crust would melt in your mouth. My husband doesn’t normally eat rhubarb but he truly enjoyed this one. The crust was my favorite part, it browned beautifully, excellent dessert for any occasion.

never going back…

….to store meat. The ground beef color in itself is just a diff color, natural not fake or super pink. The taste says it all, delicious. We will never buy store meat again!!

This is how it's done!

I ordered 20 lbs of ground beef as my first "test" order at Heartstone. it arrived on time. The box was not molested in any way. I'm in Southwest FL, quite a ways from them. But it arrived 97% frozen which was amazing. I defrosted two lbs and made burgers. I didn't add literally anything as far as spices, I wanted to taste the purity of the beef. Well it was just wonderful. Full of that old time, farmers ranch beef. Knowing how good the product is, I know that when I kick the next batch up a notch with some spices, they're going to be fantastic. The whole process was flawless and I will buy again. You should too.

Just Plain Old Delicious

Always apprehensive being a first time buyer. Need not of worried. The steak was well marbled , juicy and practically melted in my mouth. Could not be happier with the purchase.

Delicious!

I've been ordering the 10 piece bundle for about a year and we love everything we have ordered! The taste, cost, and convenience can't be beat! 💗

so good!

Most delicious purchased pie I’ve ever had

We love our Farmer Dan's meat!

We live right here in Maine, but we STILL order from Farmer Dan because honestly, it's the best meat around, and we love supporting local!

Best liver I have ever had..and then some

Beef

It’s hard to find grass fed beef that isn’t from Australia. Your farmers do a great job of producing delicious beef and we are thankful!

fresh & delicious

I love these fresh products so much, you truly can taste the difference. Love Heartstone farm and get all my chicken and beef from here now

Excellent

Could not be happier price is fair very good quality I ran restaurant kitchens in my youth for 10 years I've tried 4 other places Heartstone Farm I'm going to stick with!

Pretty much the only meat we eat

I enjoy the convenience of the meat box subscription and the flexibility of changing items each time. We are fans of the ground beef, chicken, sausage & bacon. Thank you!

Great product!

I just tried their bundle and am happy with it! Delivery was great and the meat reminds me of back in the farm as a kid!

Review

Great quality meats. Timely shipping. Currently marinating much of it for July 4th family BBQ.

Hearthstone 100% Grass Fed Filet Mignon

This filet was truly one of the best filet’s that I have had the opportunity to prepare and taste. I was skeptical because i have tried several other online vendors and this one came out on top. Tenderness was superb, taste was the best that I have tasted. I will definitely be ordering from Hearthstone again.

I love my Burger box it comes to me frozen and if I want I can add many other meats to my box. If I have a question they get right back to me great people grest meats and great price oh and delivered to your door.

Chuck Steak

Another great product i bought from Heart stone Farms.

Ground Beef!!

I recently ordered 5 lbs of the premium ground beef AFTER sampling a pound of it in my previous order. It's SOOOOOO delicious I just knew I had to start sticking my freezer with this ground beef (along with the delicious variety of steaks). We love throwing hamburgers on the grill made from this beef and meatloaf is next level. I love it!!!! Get you some!!! But save me some!!

Deliveredd on time!

The burger box was a pŕesent for father's day and was received well. It was delivered several days before the event to the correct address along with an apple pie that I've had before that is very good.

Very good meat and chicken!

We have had one order so far. I am impressed with the user friendly website and the prompt delivery of our meat. The quality of the meat was very good- especially pleased with the chicken. However, the cut of the kabob /stew meat was not what I expected- uneven pieces- some as small as a grape and some a normal kabob size. I also left three separate messages with the office for Denise and haven’t received a call back. There may be a good reason but not sure how to get my question answered.

amazing primal gound meat

I placed and order for primal ground beef, which is a combo of ground beef with ground organic meat, liver and heart. We eat a carnivore diet and want organ meat for the important nutrients. Farmer Dan had exactly what I was searching for. The meat came securely packaged and plenty of dry ice to keep it frozen. I made breakfast muffins, meat lined in muffin tin with and egg in the center and cover with a slice of bacon cur in half on top. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes. The meat was delicious. Unfortunately I got the review request after they were eaten so no picture. I would highly recommend Farmer Dan meats.

Very professional

I received my first box a few days ago. Very pleased with packaging and delivery. Everything was frozen solid. Happy with the meat I’ve tried so far. I’m glad I switched to Heartstone.

Heartstone Farm = Quality

Absolutely loved the hot dogs from Heartstone Farms! Delicious, high-quality, and incredibly satisfying. A definite hit for our family of five.

premium beef

This ground beef has very little fat. I never need to drain it for my recipes.

Best sausges

You taste the pork, you taste the blueberries, you taste the maple. It’s a pretty perfect balance of flavors. These sausages are juicy bundles of perfection! I love them. And everyone I’ve made them for does too. No pics because they’re eaten before I get a chance! Sooooo good.

BEST shaved steak I ever had!

I've changed my subscription to double the amount of shaved steak! SO quick and easy in a fry pan and versitile to use in a wrap or atop a summer garden salad. This is the perfect clean meat for the summer when I dont want to fire up the grill and just want delicious food quickly.

Delicious and clean

I love Heartstone Farm ! All their products are wonderful and so nutritious! I especially love the grassfed beef !!

Tasty burgers

These burgers were a little thin but tasty.

meatballs

I used 2lbs to make meatballs and they were the amazing. I’ve been trying to recreate my mom’s recipe and they’ve always fallen short on taste expectation until now. The quality of this ground beef is so superior to other ground beef I’ve used. I will only buy ground beef for Heartstone. I’m excited to make some burgers next time and see what else I can do with it!

Best Tasting Chicken

I don’t recall if I have ever tasted chicken this good. The apple pie was pretty scrumptious. And the breakfast sausages were a treat for me and they were delicious.

Great customer service

We have always been impressed with the quality of the meat. Our last shipment was delayed due to FedEx. The company was very responsive and made everything right. We are very impressed with everything about Farmer Dan Meat.

Hot Dog!

The beef franks were so delicious. They were cooked out on the grill. I love the way the casings snapped. Definitely will get them again. Thank you!

best I have ever had. never even thought to try it but it was delicious. didnot need whip cream or ice cream. just plain was wonderful

Father's Day Steak Box

Another A+ for Heartstone Farm; my husband loved his Steak Lover's Box but I knew he would because we've been getting our meat from the farm for 5 years now and it's ALWAY'S Delicious and top quality!!!!

Blueberry Pie - Damaged in Shipping

The quality of the Blueberry Pie was compromised in shipping. The pie we received had thawed during shipping, and was packed on edge, which resulted in all the juices leaking onto the other items in the package. My wife and I were disappointed, the pie was not very good. However, I believe it was the result of the packing/shipping.

flat iron

Melts in your mouth!

This beef is great!

It's grass fed beef! This makes us healthier while enjoying a great burger!

You can really taste the difference

Really juicy patties. Just added salt and pepper

strawberry rhubarb pie

I’ve had the Apple pie from this company and they are excellent. The strawberry rhubarb pie was definitely a treat looking forward to trying the blueberry one. I’m sure it will be really good. These pies are made with love and there’s so much better than even a homemade pie that I can make if you haven’t tried them you should.

great burger

love it, I would recommend it to anyone

first of many

This was my first time ordering meat online. I used to get my grass fed beef from the farm but I’ve moved. Glad I found Heartstone Farms. The beef has been delicious and very tender. We haven’t finished the boxful yet but we know we will order again. Shipping was quick, meat was all still frozen (and we’re in the South), and tracking was accurate. Would gladly recommend Heartstone Farms.

Bone-in pork chops review

Today I was nicely surprised by and enjoyed bone-in pork chops from Farmer Dan. I was surprised with the generously cut meat and by its fresh smell and coloration following storage in my freezer for a week. After tenderizing and briefly marinating the chops in ginger root and brown sugar, I dredged them in seasoned flour and pan fried them over a low flame about four minutes per side. I removed them from the skillet onto a plate and set them aside. Pouring off all but two tablespoons of the cooking fats, I quickly made a roux, using a tablespoon of the dredging flour, and added a cup of milk and whisked a cup of milk to create a medium brown gravy. As the gravy thickened, I plated the chops alongside a deli bought potato pancake, fresh broccolini spears and an ear of steamed corn on the cob. I drizzled bubbling brown gravy into each chop that had been plated to rest on half the pancake diameter allowing brown gravy to dissect both meat and starch. As the meal proceeded, we both exchanged assessments of the pork which was moist, tender, deliciously flavorable, and creamy white. We agreed that the pork chops were of exceptional quality. Sirloin Steak

Nice and tender

excellent pie!

Made the Maine way! Thank you, Farmer Dan! Big hit after our lobster feed! Can we subscribe to pies? Please think about it!

So far we are happy with everything we have tried

We have only had one shipment so far, but everything we have had has been great. We have tried another meat share previously but canceled after the first shipment, as we didn’t think it was great.

A great value

We've been getting our meat from Heartstone farm now for almost a year. The quality of the meat is incredible as is the variety. We haven't had a cut or type that we've wanted that we've had difficulty getting. The individual vacuum sealed packaging makes things so much easier, we simply thaw a package at a time as we need to use it.

This Farmer Dan chuck roast put smiles on my family’s faces. I seared it and put it in the crockpot with a few veggies 🥕 and it turned out great. 👍

Strawberry-Rhubarb Pie

Pie was very flavorful and the crust excellent.

awesome burgers!

We love these patties. Sometimes we put them exactly as is right onto the grill, easy, and sometimes we reform them into meatballs etc. The flavor is the best part. Consistently great!

Grass Fed Beef Brisket

I am so happy with all the meats and chicken I get from Heartstone Farms. Ordering is super simple and quick. The taste of the meats is delicious! We have been ordering all our meat from Heartstone Farms for 4 years now and have never had a complaint. I recently ordered my 2nd beef brisket because the first was so delicious! Make sure you get one. Rose Orleans MA

Delicious Chicken Breasts

The best chicken breast I have ever eaten. Thank you so much!

Great Fathers Day gift

Looking for something different for my husband and what could be better than the sampler box from Heartstone. It was packed so perfectly and all the food is delicious. He was just blown aware. I highly recommend.

Best Ever

I ve had Rhubarb pie in the past, this was the best ever… so tasty and filled with sweet fruit. yummy

Great!

Never had ancestral blend beef before now and it was very good. I like that it has organ in it a natural superfood! Will definitely purchase again!

ancestral blend ground beef

More flavor than the regular ground beef. Richer in taste and nutrients. Highly recommend. Just bought 10 more packages.

blueberry maple sausage

The blueberry maple sausage was great. It didn’t last long enough. We have more to try but everything looks good.

Fantastic Service, Fantastic products!

We have tried the Steaks, Pork and now the Chicken. Everything has been outstanding quality and great tasting. Plus, it ALL from the USA!

delicious

Love it

First irder

We haven’t used all of the cuts but the hamburger and chicken breast have both been delicious. We will use the sirloin steak tomorrow and I expect it will be just as good as the other selections.

pie from heaven

I posted my pie when I ate it. We loved it.

The best meat i think i have ever had

I can't begin to say enough about the quality of their meat . It's my 4th shipment and I love it . Pork chops are so delicious and big ,the steaks are so much superior then the products you get at the grocery store . And the Ground beef just by looking at it you can see how much better it truly is ,all grass fed and raised out the door . Love this company and I'm already getting ready to order again . Oh no lengthy contract and unlike so many others raised in the USA .

my families favorite!!

These pork chops never fail to be delicious. Our favorite way to cook them is in the grill and they never have dried out.

very tender

This shaved steak was very tender and flavorful.

Hot Dogs

The grass fed beef hot dogs are tasty! I'll be buying them again.

Hooked on Heartstone’s Shaved Steak

I’m subscribed to the 20 cuts from Heartstone Farm, and every single piece of meat we’ve received has been top quality—but I have to talk about the shaved steak. My husband cooked it last night, and the moment he took a bite, he said, “This is insane—I’m never eating Whole Foods meat again.” And honestly? I agreed. The flavor is unreal. It tastes like real, clean, honest meat—nothing like what we were used to from the store. You get a generous amount too, which makes it even better. The quality is unmatched, and the taste is on a whole other level. We’ve completely switched over—all our meat is now from Heartstone. The shaved steak alone was enough to make us loyal customers for life.

perfect gift

I was looking for something different for my son in law and saw this. He loves his grill so this was a perfect gift for him. Nice selection of meat for him to hone his skills. The beef hot dogs were very tasty.

Very Happy with Heartstone Farm

Meat is delicious. Package arrived very well packed. i was really nice to be able to get the cuts that I wanted. I will be ordering again. Thank you.

ground beef

The only beef I will buy. The best one I’ve had in quite some time. Ro, Ct.

Tasty meat !

I've been searching for 100 % grass fed beef and I decided to give Heartstone Farms a try. The ground beef is a significantly delicious and the texture is naturally appealing, as well. I will definitely be a repeat customer and I'm planning on trying many of their other products. Thumbs up, on the ground beef!

So Stoked to dig into the rest of my box!!

I've been looking for healthier protein options and sustainable farming options. I chose Heartstone Farms. Absolute Home Run! I just polished off 2 Ancestral Blend burgers with blistered peppers and mushrooms. Hands down the best Ancestral Blend I've found. Cant wait to cook the chicken thighs and Ribeye for my steak Saturday after golf. Super Happy!!

Best quslity!

I am so pleased with the freshness and high quality of the meat I have delivered to me! Love knowing that it is raised humanely. The meat has awesome taste and texture!

Tasty Kale and Turkey stir fry

Yummy turkey enhanced with kale, red peppers and onions sautéed in an iron pan! Our favorite work night comfort food! Thank you Farmer Dan for your supreme, healthy Turkey! Karen McCloud

Good stuff!

Heartstone Farms never disappoints! I’ve sampled their nutrient-dense liver, the flavorful ancestral-blend ground beef, and—hands-down my favorite—their incredibly juicy chicken. Every cut arrived fresh, pasture-raised, and bursting with clean, honest flavor. If you’re looking for high-quality meats that taste the way food should, Heartstone Farms is a must-try.

Always Excellent!!

Quality is always great. Portions are "right" sized. We like especially the boneless chicken breasts, ribeye steaks and short ribs. But that's not to slight the other products!! Everything is wonderful, to the extent that we don't buy our meat from anyone else now!!! Looking forward to continuing to enjoy all the Heartstone Farm products.

good product !

The meat is excellent and the entire process including shipping was super easy and fast 😊

Review For Meat Box Subscription

The best meat ever. Thank you for all that you do.
