Fabulous meat

We moved, we needed a new meat delivery farm… we just received our 1st delivery from Farmer Dan’s and so far the experience couldn’t be better. It arrived the day after it was shipped frozen solid and well packaged for the freezer. We have already used 3 packages of ground beef (at grandson’s request) which made wonderful hamburgers. We are looking forward to trying the other cuts we received and baking the blueberry pie.

Great Chicken!

My box arrived promptly and was well-packaged. So far we have eaten two packs of chicken breasts and the flavor has been excellent and the chicken tender. It is also lower in fat than I expected, which is great for our dietary needs.

Tasty Turkey

I slow roasted the Turkey breast in the oven and sliced the meat thin and added it to a home made cream sauce. My husband and I enjoyed cream Turkey on rice. The meat was dense and tasty.

Meat the way it should be!

My family of 4 were very excited when our first order arrived at our doorstep. I never was a big beef eater until pregnant with my son who’s almost 2. But I won’t and can’t just eat any cuts. I can always taste the difference between quality and well raised cattle. My husband second dinner with our products he looked at me and said we can’t ever buy meat from the grocery store again. I agreed as we enjoyed every cut from our shipment and look forward to the next!

The shaved steak is a wonderful option for a hot summer dinner. I warmed up a cast iron skillet on the grill, seasoned the steak, threw it in the pan, and seared quickly. The meat stayed juicy and the taste was out of this world!

Great pie

We received the Apple pie from Farmer Dan with our box order. So the following Sunday, we were going to have the chicken breasts we got, in a cream and mushroom sauce. My wife said, let's do the apple pie for dessert. It said you could put it in the oven frozen, which I didn't notice on the label. We actually put it in the fridge the day before. Well, I don't know how it could have been any better. It was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too tart. The crust was flaky and buttery. It really did remind me of Grandma's pies from 50 years ago. Good Job Dan.

Turkey tenders, chicken breasts and thighs, ground beef and ancestral beef, all the ingredients for an awesome family barbecue. Excellent Wings!

These wings are ready to cook- already split apart, no wing tips and no stray pin feathers. They cooked up beautifully, and the flavor was excellent. So tender! I will be getting these in my subscription on a regular basis.

I have tried several different meat subscription boxes and Farmer Dan’s Heartstone is truly the best. My favorite it the ground beef and the strip steaks. Always so flavorful. I also appreciate that I can change my choices with each upcoming subscription and can get add ons at a reduced price as a subscriber.

I live in a area where it is hard to find premium foods like this. My husband and I have been trying to eat better in general and we eat very simple meat based meals This company is a Godsend and we're ready to do anything to make it fit in our budget You can taste the quality and they offer enough options for different proteins The cherry on top for me is trying their pies since I have a massive sweet tooth The only reason I'm not rating it 5 stars is because I'm being too picky about a couple details that in no way shape or form diminish the value of the best find of the year to me. The packaging is a bit hard to open, maybe the could add one of those corner tabs in the future? Also, of course, the price is high but I'd rather save on other things in my life than compromise on health and nutrition. So overall I couldn't be happier with doing business with this company. I recently subscribed to Heartstone Farm Farmer Dan's Meat Box and boy am I very pleased with the quality, and freshness! I thoroughly enjoyed the tasty strip steak as you can see in the picture! I've also had the Zesty sausages, so delicious and flavorful. The ground beef was great for tacos. I'm looking forward to trying the turkey tenderloins, mild sausage and hot dogs. I'm sure they'll be as good as the rest!

Delicious Pies

We have had the Strawberry Rhubarb, Apple and Blueberry pies and they are DELICIOUS! Just keep in the freezer to you need and then throw in the oven. Nothing beats a homemade pie with natural ingredients. Try it and see for yourself, you won't be sorry.

The burgers come frozen solid, in a pack of 3's. I find it can cook from frozen or.thawed. they are juicy, tender and flavorful. I highly recommended the burgers.YUM

Awesome flavor!

I have been loving the dry aged by default aspect of the sirloin steak. You can taste the flavor pretty easily. Quality like this comes at a much bigger mark up from the supermarket.

Purchased 5 lbs of ground beef from Heartstone. Quality beef…you can taste the difference. Worth every penny. Also, the bone in pork chops are the best we ever had..juicy and delicious. Will continue to buy our meat from Heartstone.

The steaks are delicious, tender juicy, the ground beef cooks well not to much fat but definitely not dry. The fahaita meat was tender and lean with a great taste. So far it’s all been good, I love the idea that I can select my meat and not get auto shipped product that I don’t want.

I usually get the regular ground beef but thought I would try the ancestral blend for its nutrients. It doesn’t taste like organ meat and cooks just like regular ground beef! I will order more in the future.

my first order!

Well my sister talked me into trying Heartstone farms because she uses them. I ordered the ten piece package because it’s just myself and my husband. Well, the first thing we tried was the bacon. My husband loves it one down then I made burgers on the grill. My husband said it was the best burger he had then I used the boneless chicken breast. It didn’t smell. I like the way it fell and it wasn’t all shredding like you get sometimes at the store. Perfect. I also tried the sandwich steaks which were great nice and lean cooked up nice and I use the leftovers on top of a pizza the next night next month I switched it up a little so I could try different things makes it very easy to do. Would definitely recommend can’t wait for next month.

Best burgers I've ever had!!!

I tried this ground beef blend as an experiment. I have never had beef heart and the few times I've tried liver I haven't liked it. I kept it pretty simple. I made 1/3 lb. patties, rubbed in some worcestershire, and sprinkled kosher salt and black pepper on top. I grilled them to medium, with melted cheese on a toasted bun with mayo and ketchup. The flavor was beyond amazing! This blend hands down made the best burgers I've ever had, no other ground beef compares to it.
