Warm Winter Day Chili

I was very pleased with the aroma, the taste and the amount of Chili when I tried this for the first time. It’s not too hot, which I appreciate - you can add your own heat to this. A great lunch with tortilla chips, cheddar cheese and sour cream on top! Will buy again, and again, and again!

high quality good taste

Great tasting Patties that the whole family can enjoy!

The Meat to Eat!

I ordered this Prime Rib Roast and it did not disappoint. It was a great choice for the holiday season! I highly recommend this meat.

Excellent

We really enjoyed this pie. The blueberries are so tasty!

Perfect pie

This pie was so delicious! The crust was ideal and the filling was to die for. We brought it to a party and no one knew it was gluten free. Absolutely perfect!

BEST Wings Ever!

Heartstone Farm has the BEST Wings you will ever buy!!! The packages came just as described on their website...drumettes and wingettes in each pack, with about 18-20 wings per pack with LOTS of meat on each. Wings were so perfectly trimmed and ready for the grill! So much better quality than what I have been buying in grocery stores. Placing my next order right now.

winner dinner

Shaved steak was a delight. So tender and perfect to make cheese steaks. It’s a must have in your meat box!

taste the difference

The shaved steak you get from Heartstone is thinly sliced melt in your mouth. When cooking for my young boys they ask for this steak when I try other brands they reject it. Must buy!

I purchased several steaks as a gift,Fed ex lost them not once but twice, the folksier at Heartstone Farm went above and beyond to make sure I got my gift. They repacked a third order on a Thursday and re shipped using UPS and in less that 24 hours I had my steaks.I can’t be happier they look beautiful;I have purchased from Heartstone previously and the meat was fantastic so im sure the review from my folks who will be receiving these will be great. If you haven’t tried you should!!

delicious

The absolute best

tender and delicious!

I wish I would have taken a picture of these sfter I cooked them, but they were so delicious that we went through them quickly. I tried a new keto recipe using butter, garlic and parsley..outstanding! I will be ordering again as soon as I hit send on this review👍🏻😋 joan greenie Topsham me

Why did the chicken cross the road?

The chicken crossed the road because he knew the 'grass was greener' over at Heartstone Farm! These chicken drumsticks were plump and juicy and delicious. I have a great seasoning recipe and these drums went perfectly with it. I like that the chicken is raised humanely and can participate in normal bird activities and while also not being pumped full of unholy chemicals. I highly recommend this chicken and will be a repeat customer. No more mystery meat from the big chains for me anymore.

Best breakfast sausages on the planet

Me and my whole family, including my eight month old child and my three year-old son eat these twice a week

love it

Man, I wish it was in the box but this cut definitely worth purchasing

Perfect sweetness

I rarely make pies, so it was nice to have an easy and delicious one🥧 I was honestly surprised that the blueberries were fresh and plentiful. The balance of sweetness was perfect for my needs😆

new customer

I am a new customer and I was waiting until my second delivery to write a review. I just don’t hand out reviews unless they are truly deserved. I am totally impressed with the quality, the amount of meat in my subscription. Every meat selection I cooked was absolutely tender and, tasty . I have the subscription for 1-2 people and I get delivery every other month. I get constant emails from when I make the selections to when it’s delivered . The meat arrives frozen and super fast. Thank you Farmer Dan and company for excellent customer service, great prices and awesome flexibility to choose what I want and how often. Merry Christmas

good quality meat

Made a very good beef stew

Perfection once again!

I converted from supermarket meat to farm meat a few years for a few years now. My palate and digestive system are grateful. Heartstone Beef is my favorite for its depth of flavor, noticeable no matter how I prepare it. If you were only raised with supermarket meat get ready to taste the good life.

buy it again

Flavor of the Chichen leg quarter is the best, nothing compares like the ones from the supermarkets.

This ground pork makes wonderful meatballs and cabbage stews. Thats what I use it for and my family comes back for seconds every time. The meat has a freshness about it that I never tasted buying meat at the grocery store. The flavor is mild but delicious, and tje meat is tender and moist. I highly recommend the pork from Heartstone Farm

Skirt Steak

I enjoyed this cut. I look forward to my next order.

strip steak

Excellent steak .Everything from Heartstone Farm is great

Our first order

The order was delicious and delivered quickly. We weren’t expecting the hamburger to be so lean but that is our fault. However, the weight was less than stated. It said 1lb but came out to about 14.5 oz each. Is that normal? Please let us know. Thanks.

good meat

Good packaging.,it had a rich, earthy flavor and it cooked quickly.

Ground Beef

I made a Cheesy Keto Ground Beef Casserole using Heartstone Farms ground beef. I forgot to take a picture 🙄 but it was delicious!! I get the ground beef every month!

Gift card review

I recently sent a gift card through Hearstone farm's website, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The process was simple and user-friendly. I was able to customize the card with a long, heartfelt message for my partner, which made it feel even more special. It was delivered exactly at the time I requested for Christmas, and my partner absolutely loved it! I also appreciated the confirmation that it had been sent, it gave me peace of mind knowing everything went smoothly. This company was recommended to me by a friend. Highly recommend!

obviously fresh!

Such a huge step up from grocery store drumsticks. Incredibly fresh.

best sausage ever!!

Perfect for Christmas Morning, I cut them open and brown the meat. Real versatile

Dynamite Thighs

My wife barbecued these chicken thighs on our inside grill. Wow! Were they ever delicious with corn on the cob! Their taste, quality and freshness were fantastic; juicy too. I would highly recommend Heartstone Farm chicken thighs. I'll be buying more, especially for Super Bowl Sunday.

you can tell the difference right away

you can tell the difference right away Simply based on the color

blueberry maple sausages

Great breakfast add for the kids. Family really enjoyed them.

Ox Tail Deliciousness

I ordered ox tails because I cannot find them anywhere in my area. You know how it is when you have a food craving that cannot be satisfied. These oxtails were large and meaty. I had three full servings of oxtail stew from one package and they were delicious. I will definitely be ordering these again

flavorful

Although I don’t really taste the blueberries this is one of the best tasting sausage!

Peace with your meat

We absolutely love your meat! The reason we titled this "Peace with your meat" is because we never knew what was really in the grocery store meat. Not trusting or knowing what we were eating created anxiety. We have peace of mind now with your products. The taste is so much better - there really is no comparison. We now fully enjoy our dinners. Thank you, Nancy and David

Ground Beef

This ground beef is nothing like any store bought. It is purely delightful! I could never buy any store boughten meat again. Also it is pure and good for you unlike store meat.

Nothings better than a perfect Butt

Made the best pulled pork of my entire life with this meat. Will definitely be purchasing this again.

Great Quality and Tasting Steaks

These strip steaks were delicious. The cuts were thicker and had a nice fat to meat ratio. They taste buttery and tender compared with store bought steak.

Delicious!

So tender and made for an amazing sub

great burgers!

Good size and taste

delicious!!

The whole house smelled great as I baked this delicious pie. It tasted great too. Served it with some vanilla ice cream for a dessert to remember.

easy & delicious

We love the convenience of having these delicious burgers at the ready for a quick dinner. Always a favorite.

Received my shipment today and though the beef tips and ox tails look amazing - very disappointed in the brisket that I received I would say that of the 4.5lb piece of meat I received over 2lbs is probably fat if not more. Considering the price I paid for it I would have expected a little more meat and less fat.

Heartstone Farm's grass fed beef tastes amazing and the price is great. They offer a lot of flexible options for annual purchase based on your consumption. I've purchased a quarter cow each of the last two years and plan to do so again this year. Dan himself delivers the beef to me down in NH. He packs them in boxes so they are easy to stow in the freezer. I highly recommend them!2021 UPDATE: Still going strong with Dan and Heartstone Farm 3 years in! The beef has continued to be delicious while maintaining competitive pricing, so I'll be sticking around. Despite what sounds like a growing customer base, they still remain very communicative regarding deliveries and in answering my questions. They are also conscious about the packaging material they use while ensuring the goods remain frozen solid! They've continued to be very gracious in securing special cuts for our family gatherings. Keep up the great work!

Fantastic Product

We love the nutrition packed and tastiest meat ever from Heartstone Farm. Juicy burgers, melt in your mouth pot roast and fajita meat are our favorites. Shopping local helps keep these farms alive. 💯 recommend them

Blueberry sausage links

Ever since I had these the first time, I crave them as if they were addictive. They have a perfect blend or savory and subtle blueberry that makes them delicious! I bake them so they carmeluze in the outside. Decadent.

These are the best quality burgers I have ever had. When I served them to family, they agreed the flavor was outstanding and the quality, excellent. Great burgers!

Excellent small pieces of beef. I had to cut some pieces smaller to fit my kabob sticks. But the meat was so delicious and tender after cooking.

REaL Maine blueberries!

There is a difference, you know , between Maine blueberries, and other blueberries. Maine blueberries are the best! This pie was simply delicious and the crust is substantial. I’m going to order a dozen and give them to everybody at home

Wonderful Chicken Soup

This chicken provided wonderful flavor for the broth while the meat was very tender. The added benefit of the chicken soup is its flexibility and versatility. It’s great on the day of cooking and be be saved for later often tasting better as all the flavors blend.

Great pie!

If I had to choose one word to describe this pie? Delectable! Super happy I ordered more than one!

amazing flavor!

The blueberry maple sausage was the best, most fresh, and flavorful breakfast sausage we have tried. We doubled our order for next time because we loved it so much!

breakfast sausages

I really enjoyed the breakfast sausage. It cooked up perfectly and tasted better than any store-bought sausage. I am so happy I found Heartstone Farm. Love having fresh meats.

the steak lovers box

I just cooked the first of two Porterhouse steaks from Heartstone Farm. Also my first try at a smaller farm. WOW. When I first unpacked the frozen steaks they don’t look that impressive. But I tell ya, I defrosted it in the fridge over night Leave it out at room temperature for 30 or so minutes. I’m embarrassed to say I over cooked it a bit, was shooting for MR. That steak was still so juicy, and delicious. I’ll definitely be back after I get my new freezer Great job And a better story Many thanks

blueberry breakfast sausage 😋

The best breakfast sausage I’ve ever had.

My order arrived yesterday. This beef looks amazing. Cannot wait to try some! Thank you, Heartstone Farm!

What an absolutely amazing family business :-) We moved from California to Portland last winter and I discovered Farmer Dan and his wonderful crew while seeking for humanely treated animals from which to eat small quantities of meat; something we've been trying to give up. While in a perfect world I'd be a vegetarian, I lack the discipline to do that and finding this magnificent farm with the most extraordinary meat I've ever tasted has done much to preserve our family's conscience. Any questions are immediately answered, everyone who works there is kind, respectful, and delightful to deal with. I am spreading the word to all of my friends and family that there is no better place to purchase meat than one where the animals are treated with love and kindness and raised in a truly beautiful environment. We absolutely love Heartstone Farm

New Customer. Revie

I have just received my second order from Heartstone Farms for a meat order for two. We had mostly stopped eating much meat due to the quality and taste. From supermarket meats. As we were consuming less, felt that increasing quality was a good trade off. The meat we received has come totally frozen, delivered at our convenience, and of high quality. I use up the breakfast sausage as soon as it arrives, just the right amount of spice to let you know it’s sausage without attacking the tongue. We will be continuing our subscription.

Fantastic !

"The ribeye was fantastic. Grilled it medium-rare — the flavor was incredible. It was juicy, tender, and full of flavor. Highly recommend!"

I used the Fajita Beef to make beef and broccoli and it was a huge hit! We will be making this recipe on a regular basis with the wonderful beef from Heartstone Farm!

Outstanding Value

After a long and exhausting search of Grass fed AND Grass FINISHED meats I found Heartstone Farm. I went with the 20 piece box and we are thrilled. The meat come completely frozen and vacuumed packed, clearly labeled and easy to store in the freezer. The taste has been amazing. Our favorite so far is the beef fajita meat. We cooked it in the iron skillet and then added it to a stir-fry. It was tender and delicious. Looking forward to our next box!! (We were missing the Chicken breast tenders but customer service quickly responded and assured me it would have double in the next box) FIVE STARS for sure! You are what you eat, so eat the best!

fabulous turkey

I followed your directions and the oranges and sage in the cavity. The turkey was moist and delicious. I put the heart and liver in the dressing, everyone loved it. I made soup and bone broth. I truly appreciate being able to use all the parts of the turkey with confidence, knowing that it’s clean food.

Great sausage!

Great sausage links! Cooked some up with pancakes and they were delicious. Good quality even when I removed the casing to make some sausage gravy and biscuits. Good meaty flavor without being heavy handed with the sage. Definitely the go-to breakfast sausage in our house from here on out!

I was very pleased with the quality of the product, Timely delivery will recommend to all my friends.

We’ve had a few deliveries from Heartstone Farm so far and have been happy with everything. The ordering is easy, the deliveries shipped well and in perfect frozen condition, and the meats have been great quality. I had to message customer service over Thanksgiving to delay an order and they were prompt and courteous with their response and very nice to deal with. I’ve used recipes from their site and they come out delicious. I used another recipe for the short ribs and everyone enjoyed their meal. They were fall apart, no knife needed, tasty! I would recommend Heartstone meats to anyone.
