Excellent steaks!

We grilled these filets with some Montreal Steak Seasoning sprinkled on them and they really didn't need anything else, they were delicious as is. I highly recommend these steaks!

I'm impressed and I am from NY. First the handwritten note card is a very nice touch. Now let's begin with the liver. No metallic flavor, tender when cooked and sweet. The rib eye... that was next - not gamey tasting and although frozen it was delicious! I just ordered more liver and now bones. I'm on a carnivore diet so I need my meat to be top notch. The butcher in manhattan is much more money and frankly I'm just impressed. I don't trust the supermarket meat because although it says grass fed is it grass finished? And where is it from??!

Our order of chicken and large quantity of beef was delivered on time, in great condition still frozen solid. We have prepared the chicken and stew meat so far both fantastic meals. I typically purchase a 1/2 cow for my family throughout the year. When it comes to quality I will be ordering from heartstone farms in the future!

New to the sirloin tip cut, so looked up recipes on how to properly tenderize. Used both a marinade and thin-slice method to make fajita-style meat for tacos. Beef flavor was delicious and the steak made for a fast and satisfying dinner.

Tip steak

A tip steak is not my favorite cut, I tend to leave it for last when I receive a big shipment. Yet every time I eat the tip I am pleasantly surprised at the high quality and flavor. So good I Amy eat it first next time.

This pie was delicious! The instructions just suggested I brush milk across the top, and sprinkle with sugar and then bake it! It was a perfect dessert that we had with our guests! I would absolutely buy it again.

Blueberry Sausage-full of flavor

I gave the sausage to my son and his family as they love a nice breakfast. The kids (5,3) claimed the sausage was “too spicy”, but my daughter in law said it was perfect, full of flavor. She said it was very lean and asked for more!

I used the Osso Bucomeat in veggie soup I made recently along with stew meat. The Bone added depth to the broth. Soup tasted super. Will buy again.

We recently received our first order of beef and chicken and couldn't be more pleased. The beef is high quality, beautifully red and marbled with a phenomenal taste. Haven't tried the chicken yet, but it looks good, no tendons or grizzled pieces.

We made burgers with the ground beef as soon as we got our shipment from Farmer Dan. Which, by the way, was packed with so much care and everything was still frozen solid. Blueberry pie

I wanted to reach out and let you know how delicious the blueberry pie was in my last order. Being that you are primarily a meat company I really didn't know what to expect with this purchase… I was really surprised, this blueberry pie was fantastic, copious amounts of blueberries, that were not overly sweet, I find most pies I purchase are in fact way to sweet with much too much sugar added, this was not the case at all. Additionally… I do not have any problems with gluten, and did not know what to expect with the "gluten-free" crust. This crust was delicious and flaky, did not have the artificial taste that some gluten-free products have. I used the instructions provided, and the pie heated up easily and was delicious, all in my family really enjoyed it, was very close to my mom's homemade blueberry pie… That's about as good as it gets. Bone In Pork Chops Review

The best pork chops I have ever purchased. They were very thick and fresh. I pan friend them in a cast iron pan and they came out so delicious that I wished I had more. I will continue purchasing them through Heartstone Farm. It is amazing the difference between grocery store meats to farm fresh. I will never go back.

Chicken Drumsticks

I am a new customer to the Heartstone Farm Family and I was confronted by my very skeptical girlfriend who jokingly referred to my wonderfully pristine Heartstone Chicken Drumsticks as “Catholic School Chickens” and the factory farmed chickens as “public school chickens” because of the Heartstone Chickens being raised in a healthy organic environment, as opposed to the factory farmed chickens. So, I challenged her to a blind taste test conducted in three phases. (1) side by side cooked drumsticks🍗; (2) side by side with the meat already having been cut from the bone; and (3) side by side in a chicken sandwich 🥪. I am happy to report that my girlfriend selected the Heartstone Chicken Drumstick meat (“Catholic School chicken” meat 🐓) in all three phases of this test vindicating my purchase from Heartstone Farm! However, the name “Catholic School Chicken” kinda stuck and we continue to affectionately refer to Heartstone Farm products as “Catholic School Chickens” 😂 Keep up the good work Heartstone Farm!

This is my first order from Heartstone Farm and the turkey sampler is outstanding! I am so happy with the quality of the products and the flavor of the turkey and will admit the mild sausage may be my favorite! No doubt the best steak I ever had. Of course grilling it the right way is the key to any steak. The flavor is unreal and blows away any store bought "steak" usually full of hormones. The only problem is once you have farm fresh grass fed beef you get kinda spoiled and other beef just can't satisfy. Farmer Dan is also a really cool guy and makes sure his customers are satisfied. I really should give 5-stars but the prices are just too high for me. I guess it's not the place to shop for us po' boys. But it's a nice treat when I can afford it. In fact, if I had the money I'd probably eat this beef practically every day. Yep, it's that good. But I just need to factor in price in my review. So I'm stuck with buying store bought steak until I can afford the good stuff.

Oh my my, that Wild Blueberry Pie!

We can't say enough good things about this Maine wild blueberry pie that we enjoyed so much!! The crust was flakey, it wasn't paper thin and was scrumptious. The filling was the perfect balance of sweet and tart and was packed full of fresh Maine wild blueberries.

Great fajitas!

This fajita meat was fabulous!!! Definitely will be repurchasing for the future. We served on some nice tortillas with sauteed onions and some siete fajita seasoning.

We ALL love it

We've been ordering from Heartstone Farm for a couple years now, and we love their beef shares. We make burgers for our church's summer BBQ with the ground beef every year and people always rave and ask where I got the meat. The liver we get especially for our dogs, to add to their meals a few times a week, and while they love all liver, the Heartstone Farm liver gets eaten the quickest by far!

The bone in Pork chops were moist and flavorful. Eating locally sourced meat is has the advantages of supporting the local farmers and also knowing that I am not putting unknown chemicals that are likely in the potk coming from mass producers. I highly recommend buying this meat.
