Grass Fed Sirloin tip Steak

Great tasting steak as always. Never disappointed with the quality of the grass fed and finished beef.

Before trying the Maine box, I would have said that I do not like porterhouse steaks but these were tasty, juicy, & most importantly tender...BIG fan. I found the sirloin tip steak chewy but that may be the way I cooked it. Still tasty. Only hit dogs I've ever eaten that haven't repeated on me...maybe because their real beef and not rubber. I highly recommend this as a precursor to sample different cuts and discover your new favorites 😍

The rtwo racks of ribs were hug - we had to cut them in half to get them in the crockpot. They were tender and reheat really well in the oven. Very high quality meat.

Chickent thighs were a hit!

We don't order a lot of chicken, but we may start now! The chicken thighs from Farmer Dan's new supplier were delicious! We were very happy with the flavor and the trim! Many times (at the grocery store) they leave A LOT of extra skin on the thighs. From Farmer Dan there was just enough skin to add crunch from the grill! We are anxiously awaiting our next order!

We have been ordering from Heartstone Farm since 2020, and we are always so happy with the quality of meat we get. In fact, this year, we didn't place our big summer order early enough and had to "fill in some gaps" with meat from the grocery story for a couple of weeks. Eating that meat was such a reminder of why we stick with Hearthstone Farm. They are the best, and we are grateful to have them offering high-quality beef in our area. When we got the 1/4 share I realized I had to broaden my cooking repertoire. Short ribs are new for me so I followed the recipe on the Hearthstone Farms website. Cranberry short ribs. I used the crock pot. They were excellent and I am encouraged to do more. The “Butt” is next.

Farmhouse Chili

Excellent product; just heat on stove or in the microwave. Just enough in one serving for a meal or an amazing side dish! The best part of this recipe are the larger pieces of really good ground beef. I would definitely recommend Hearthstone Farms and especially their Farmhouse CHILI!!!

Well Packaged

We received our quarter of a cow meat with marrow bones and beef liver. The meats were still chilled when they arrived neatly packed, so we put them directly into the freezer. We ate one pound of ground beef in a taco casserole and then had to strip steaks another night. The steaks were flavorful -- one steak was tender but my steak was tough and chewy. Looking forward to eating the other purchases.

Steak is delicious!

I loved the Sirloin Tip Steak I ordered, delicious. I am very happy with Heartstone Farms and their service. The only issues I have have been: one order got caught in the mail and arrived late (out of Heartstone Farm's control), the meat was no longer good. Hearstone Farms send a replacement order the following week. Also, in the past, some of the steaks' sealing in the bags have allowed some air and freezer burn in. I must say that this has improved in my more recent orders though. I will continue to order from Heartstone Farms.

If you have not tried this Flat Iron you really must! I marinated for a couple of hours in Olive oil, soy and garlic. the seared on the grille, just outstanding! Remember slice against the grain!

Flat Iron Joy!!

The flat iron steak has been one of my favorites for many years. Your flat iron steak is outstanding. Tender, flavorful and easy to prepare whether it be on a grill or skillet. I'm quite partial to cooking with a cast iron skillet, and it and your flat iron steak are a perfect match! A little salt and pepper are all that's needed. Although I do like putting a pat of real butter on the meat for the last couple minutes of cooking. Rare is how I like it, and your flat iron steak makes for the perfect entree.
