My family and I use a ton of ground beef, whether my son is craving tacos or my wife wants a juicy smash burger, it’s a go to basically every week. We were finding the quality of beef we were getting from the grocery store was inconsistent and typically awful, to the point we started to grind our own on a regular basis. Now that we have had a regular supply of the heartstone farm beef we don’t need to anymore! Always consistent quality, texture and taste! We are always impressed by their meat and this ground beef has been a life saver for us!

Enjoying The Meat

We received our first order. The meat was well packaged. We've enjoyed the chuck steaks and chicken legs so far. Both defrosted fast and cooked quickly. They were tender and juicy. We still have the hamburger, steaks, and bacon to try, which I am looking forward to. I like that we can choose the box we want and make exchanges.

Excellent Italian Sausage

I cooked the Zesty Italian Sausage on the grill with green peppers and onions. It was absolutely delicious. They were not too spicy and really hit the spot for dinner. Along with a roll, that was all we ate and were left with no hunger. I will purchase them again with my next Meat Box. I plan to give some to our son and daughter. I would have to say that they are the best Italian Sausages that we have ever had. Thank you Farmer Dan for putting them in your product offerings.

Worth a try

We have purchased this sausage a couple of times and it never disappoints. It is juicy and flavorful without being overly spicy. Definitely, much better than anything at the grocery store.

Everyone Loved It!!!

This skirt steak is just incredible! I marinated in asian spices and soy sauce for a few hours, then brought to our beach bbq. Two minutes a side on a smoking hot grille, rest for 3-4 minutes, slice across the grain. They couldn't get enough, this was my second Skirt from Dan!!

Real Beef

You taste the real beef from Heartstone Farms. The burgers are delicious , lean and fresh. Thank you for the turkey tenderloins and the fresh chicken from your new farm supplier. A great choice eating local food here in New England.

ground pork - delectable

Ground pork is one a fan favorite to cook with in our household. We sprinkle some in with eggs, make meatballs, or flavor up a sauce with it. We have used Heartstone Farm’s for all three and the clean plate results spoke for themselves. It is absolutely delectable, I suggest buying two packs!!

Recently ordered a few pork and beef items from you guys, and my family has enjoyed everything so far. The sweet Italian sauage I take out of the casing and cook in balls or ground up. We all love it even my picky 10yr old son.

we made a simple marinade and left in refrigerator overnight. Next day baked in oven for 30 minutes and then finished on the grill - delicious - succulent!

I eat a lot of chicken and these chicken breasts are by far the best! They are so fresh! When I’ve had to buy some chicken breasts at the grocery store I could not believe the difference in color and taste compared to Heartstone Farm chicken breasts. Try them I know you’ll agree!

I have tried the ground beef and the sausage so far .the sausage is the best I have ever tasted .It actually taste like sausage. Not fennel. I stopped eating sausage until now . Amazing . The ground beef was so fresh . Cooked faster than the fatty store brand.

Great chops!

The pork chops have turned into one of our favorite items in our box from Heartstone. We usually just salt and pepper them, then grill until internal temp reads 145. Tender, delicious, and juicy. Such a stark contrast to the dry tasteless chops of our youth. A truly great addition to the Heartstone box!

Yummy Fajita Meat !

Farmer Dan's Fajita Meat was surprisingly tender and great flavor, cooked with peppers and onions makes for a delicious fajita meal, ha with NO leftovers!

Crisp, Juicy and Delicious

We sauteed these sausages with onions and peppers, for one meal, chopped them for ingredients in a sausage, cheese and onion omelette, and ate them plain with a side of sauerkraut. All were amazing. The sausages cook beautifully either in a skillet or air fryer, turning a lovely golden brown, with a slightly crispy skin and juicy meat.

Turkey Tenders

I was asked to review the turkey tenders. I cannot speak to the turkey tenders that we ordered. We got chicken tenders. With that being said, I was happy that the package was larger than what I normally get at the store and they were good. I would order them again if they were available as they were not when I ordered the turkey tenders.

Hot Wings

I love Chicken Wings. But there's a HUGE difference between Heartstone and Store bought.!! You're Wings don't have that "Turkey neck) hunk of fat hanging off or the unsightly looks of a lollipop Wing with fat hanging out of the top. My goodness are these tastee !!!

Wings my kids love!

My kids love these wings. I quickly toss them in sauce and air fry them and have a quick, healthy meal. We get multiple packs in each order because they go so quick. Thanks Farmer Dan for bringing pasture raised chicken to our table.

Good for stir frys

I used this to make Pad Thai instead of fajitas. Since the meat is in thicker strips, I had to cut it up, but it cooked up great and definitely had a much nicer, richer, flavor than the "stir fry" meat strips I used to buy at the grocery market. I would def. order this again.

As someone who makes tomato sauce often for pasta, I always add italian sausage to it. These sausages were so good when added to my red sauce. They were such a hit in my family I bought the zesty ones in my next order. These will continue to be in my monthly orders going forward. Tasty Ground Pork

Lightly seasoned with just a little salt and pepper and sauteed in olive oil, this ground pork was the perfect addition to a tomato based ragu. The pork contributed flavor and mellowed the acidity of the tomato sauce as well as filling the kitchen with a wonderful aroma.

Chicken Leg Quarters

After placing orders over the past year I finally decided to subscribe to Heartstone to get my meat orders on a regular basis. This was the first time ordering the Chicken Leg Quarters. Simply roasted and undeniably delicious. Juicy, flavorful what chicken should be along with the piece of mind knowing where my food is coming from. Will be making this a regular addition to my future orders.

Couldn’t Be Happier

Our second ever order was for bacon (2nd time), filet and sausage. We couldn’t be happier with the filet. It was beautiful fresh meaty taste and the portion perfect. Bacon is as bacon should be, large slices and a clean with a natural, unadulterated pork flavor that crisps up nicely. Haven’t experienced the sausage just yet. We couldn’t be happier with Heartstone Farm products.

Excellent chicken

We cooked the chicken breast for the first time this week. The meat is beautiful and no need to pull off chunks of fat like supermarket chicken. We cooked it at 375 for 30 minutes with teriyaki sauce on it and it was absolutely perfect and tasted great!

Steak Salt

Love Love Love the balance of the ingredients. Unlike a lot of other/store bought spice rubs and blends this was not overly salty. The products I have used it on is Steak, hamburgers, Chicken all from Heartstone Farm. I have also added it to grilled veggies and scrambled eggs. If I had to change something it would be the grinder bottle. I would have the grinder adjustable so a courser grind could be used if desired. Over all this is a 5 star product and would buy again and recommend it.

Good for all meats!

Great to use on anything, adds more flavor than saltiness so if you like a lot of salt, may want to add a pinch to whatever your cooking post cook.

We ordered a variety of meat from Heartstone Farm all of them being absolutely delicious. The drumsticks in Particular were a family favorite. The meat was extremely flavorful and tender. They were also packaged extremely well upon delivery. The box had to sit outside for a couple of hours in the sun until I returned home and everything was frozen rock solid ready for our freezer in the garage. Looking forward to placing many more orders in the future!!
