Zesty Italian Sausage

I just cooked a pasta dish using this last night, and it came out beautifully! The sausage was full of flavor and fresh even with the frozen packaging! Much better than any store bought meat I’ve had. Would use this every time I need sausage.

I ordered this corn beef just before St. Patrick's Day, I have never had gray corn beef. By far this is the best corn beef I have ever had, I slow-cooked it in my crockpot for maybe 8 hours, It was so tender it literally melted in your mouth. I sure hope they keep these in stock all year round because this will be my go to corn beef.

5 stars for Heartstone’s Country Smoked Bacon, it is delicious! We had the bacon and sausage links for our Easter brunch with family and everyone loved it! It gave me so much peace of mind knowing the healthy practices in place at Heartstone Farm. I love this chili

I’m a bit picky about my chili and prefer to make my own rather than purchase something premade. However, I thought I’d just give it one try. The first bite, I immediately realized it had a good full balanced flavor but, that point, I just thought it’s another chili overall; then I tasted another spoonful and another. I really started to enjoy it especially when I realize it has that little kick of heat at the end which I didn’t initially notice. I immediately wanted to place an order for a month’s supply!! I typically like my chili over rice; I did not do it this time to get the full taste, experience of the chili, but next time I will definitely have some rice to go along with this wonderful chili , a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, grated, and some saltine crackers. That’s the way I grew up eating chili. I highly recommend!

Short Ribs - delicious!!

We’ve never done short ribs before, decided to try for giggles. So happy we did!! I couldn’t believe how many we received (5 lbs - not sure why I thought any less but basically 5 packages). Thawed out over 2 nights then we went w the crockpot for 8 hrs. To say they were delicious is an understatement!! Fresh, flavorful and fairly easy to prepare - all things considered. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

I’m very careful about where I buy my meat. I want someone who uses practices that are the best for my health, the animals health, and the health of the environment. Heartstone is that place. They take pride in their practices and they show why Americans should be supporting their local farms. Phenomenal place with phenomenal service and care!

Delicious! I love that I don’t have to do anything but thaw it. This tastes like my favorite homemade chili.

The chicken breast tenders were excellent quality; it’s apparent that the chickens are natural and better quality than what you get at the grocery store (size, color, etc). They tasted amazing, as well!

Wonderful meat

I originally came to Heartstone Farm meats because I wanted to get away from commercially raised meat with all its additives, and knowing how animals are looked on as just products. I have been so impressed with the quality of the Heartstone products, and their ethical approach to raising their animals. I value what I am eating so much more now, and the ancestral blend in particular is delicious and I feel nourished when I eat it. I think it's a very reasonably priced product.

Turkey Burger Nom Nom

Seasoned Ground Turkey Breast added a little Bread Crumb to make a yummy alternative to the Almighty Beef Hamburger. I plan to add more to my freezer next order. It works in the Pan, Grill, or Smoker.

Kids and husband approved! Beef Cheesesteaks! Very tasty, tender meat! Just sauté, I added a southwest seasoning, melted cheddar and Gruyère cheese, serve on rolls! Delish! Highly recommend the shaved beef!

Excellent Ham

Had the ham for Easter. It was excellent. Basted it with maple syrup and brown sugar glaze every 30 minutes. It was very moist and tender. Everyone loved it. Thanks Farmer Dan.

St Louis Ribs

These ribs were easy to prepare. Slow cooked at 275F for about 3 hours. Just basted a few times and added salt. They turned out juicy, tender and tasty. Highly recommend!

We loved all the beef cuts we received and I really like the box formula where we can choose from different options. The ribeye were awesome on the grill. I highly recommend.

Buy these tenderloins, you will not be disappointed. I prepared mine with a very simple herb rub and they came out so delicious. St Patrick’s Day Feast

Ordered grey corned beef from Heartstone Farm and it was the most delicious I have had in years. The beef arrived as scheduled, packed in recyckable materials. Recipes were included for cooking. I used the slow cooker recipe and it came out perfect. I did cook the beef longer than suggested as my low setting on the cooker was too low. Highly recommend purchasing from Heartstone Farm.

Finally a place to get good honest meats humanly raised a butchered. Having been a meat cutter and manager for over 40+ years I haven’t seen this quality of meat in many years. Vegan is not the way to live for me I need meat in my diet to remain healthy. I’ve only been a member for a short time and found the hamburger and bacon to be excellent. Looking forward to try a Sous Vide steak.

We purchase the fajita meat with every subscription, it's already sliced up for you so it makes it an easy prep. We don't just use it for fajitas, we will often implement it in different styles of stir fry recipes as well. It's a great portion, great quality and delicious!

I ordered a wild blueberry pie to give it a try and my goodness, it was super good. The filling has so much flavor and isn't overly sweet like a lot of pies. The crust was delicious as well and is made with real butter. So good, highly recommended!

Turkey tenderloins

I decided to use our oven air fryer to make these tonight. I lightly used olive oil and seasoned them with salt, pepper, and poultry seasoning. I dredged them in panko. Air fried for about 22 min at 350 degrees. They came out fantastic!

Big box review

The box is a good size for a month, the steaks are cut a thin for my liking and I don't see anyway to change that. I feel like there should be more steaks available as I'm not a big sirloin fan. Overall it's good the meat is great, the poultry I can Def tell a huge difference compared to supermarket. 5 stars if I can get thicker steaks even if I had to pay a little more.

Shortrib Heaven

First time cooking beef shortribs ~ and they did not disappoint! Chose to make a stew, using an Ina Garten recipe. Rather than degrease, I refrigerated overnite to remove more of the fat. Before serving, I cleaned up the meat and cut it into sizable pieces (see photo) It didn't end there, though. Stew fed 4 and I made a delicious beef pot pie and a beef and mushroom bolognese

Perfect ratios!

Boneless Breasts review

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package of boneless chicken breast. I was impressed with how well it had been trimmed, I just rinsed it off and made dinner. This was our first order from Heartstone Farm. We were previously getting our meat/chicken/seafood from another home delivery service called Butcher Box. One of the reasons that we cancelled our membership was the condition of the chicken when it arrived. For example, the boneless breasts were not trimmed, lots of fat and cartilage had to be trimmed away, leaving me with a much smaller piece of chicken, and the wings were always bruised and had broken bones! We are very happy and satisfied with all of the products that we received from Heartstone Farm. Thank you Farmer Dan

It may just be me, but I seem to be able to "taste the difference" when eating fresh, farm raised hormone free chicken or meat! Definitely worth the cost.

Great Quality Meats & Serv

My package arrived frozen solid and ready for the freezer. The contents were fresh and well packaged. When thawed and prepared the taste of the chicken I purchased was above and beyond. This is not supermarket meat. Also Heartstones customer service is excellent. My package was going to be delayed and they kept in touch with me from placement to delivery. They spend a lot of time making sure the customer is happy and satisfied with their products. I am beyond happy with them and the quality of their products. I know you will be too!

Tender and flavorful

We love the heart stone farm chili. We actually cooked up a pound of their Ancestral blend hamburger and added it to the chili to feed more people. What a meal! Not too spicy but and a great flavor profile. I threw the leftovers on scrambled eggs the next day!

Subscriber special short ribs were a last minute add on to my subscription order. I don't typically buy short ribs, but decided to give them a try and I'm glad I did. They were very tasty and something that I would order again! I highly recommend Heartstone Farm!

Ground Turkey

The ground turkey was delicious! I made turkey burgers with it. The texture of the grind was great for shaping into patties. The texture is firm as opposed to mushy texture of store bought ground turkey. The mix of white and dark meat makes for greater flavor. I will definitely purchase more in the future.
