Our son gave us our first order for Christmas, since then we have placed three orders and we are working on putting together another one. I’m very grateful that he opened our eyes to better products with such a different surprising flavor.

We just received our first delivery, that included a whole chicken and popped it in the air fryer this morning and took it out and ate the wing before I realized I should’ve taken a picture with the wing ON but oh well this chicken is delicious as you can see. So far very happy with all the cuts of meat. Great customer service here too thank you!

So far the beef stew meat is very good. Nice and tender. I also like the ground Turkey. I was disappointed in the chicken breasts. Texture on one end of the breast was tender. The end of the breast was stringy.

The only meat we eat

Farmer Dan is the only one we trust with our meat, and his ground turkey is no exception. Fresh, tasty and wholesome, we feel great when we eat it and it's 1000x better than anything we can get from our nearby grocery store. If you're on the fence about trying it-- just do it.

Taste great / To thin for me

Instead of 3 patties, I would prefer 2 patties at the same weight. The patties would be thicker which is a style I prefer.

Exceeded Expectations

I ordered a variety of different items just to sample the products; chicken wings and breasts, steak, chopped beef and pork, some sausages...everything arrived on time and frozen, thawed well and tasted amazing. I'm so glad that we found a great resource for responsibly raised food. I'm excited to sample more of what Heartstone Farm has to offer :)

Family favorite

I cook a “Sunday Chicken” every weekend and have tried many different farms and sellers. Heartstone Farm chicken was delicious and tender. Not only that, I was able to make a lovely rich stock after our Sunday dinner. I would definitely add this to my monthly subscription box!

Absolutely Wonderful

I was initially skeptical as a single person about joining and using the subscription service. One pound packages of meat how would I manage that since I don't eat one pound of meat at a meal. Well it has worked out just fine. The pork chops are packaged individually ( I will review them separately) so no issues there. The fajita meat is absolutely wonderful. I can cook it all at once and use part for stir fry then in a day or two use it to top a chef salad, or in a stir fry (just fry your other ingredients for me that's green onions, matchstick carrots, peppers add your sauce then gently reheat that flavorful beef in the sauce). Of course it also works for fajitas too and butter basted steak pieces need I go on. This product is wonderful. So wonderful I actually doubled the number in my subscription box.

My family of five all liked the chicken legs. I roasted them in a lemon and olive oil marinade and they were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside.

We have started feeding our dog raw food and had a difficult time finding organ meats that we trusted. I love the packaging and the quality of this beef kidney. Wrinkles (our Shar Pei) is loving the taste.

High quality brisket

I made corned beef for the first time ever the other day, and I bought a brisket cut from Heartstone. Although I AM an amazing cook, I have to also assume that this meal would not have come out as delish as it did without the super high quality beef I was using.

I wouldn't be able to eat organ meats if it weren't for this blend! You cannot even taste them, yet now we can get the nutrition without the 'yuck' factor! I would still like to order the organs and bones separately, along with suet, for other uses. But to eat, this blend is perfect! Great for pets too!

The Heartsone Farm corned beef was fantastic. The cooking directions were perfect. It was the first time we did a corned beef in the oven and will never go back to boiling. FANTASTIC!!!!!!

Best grass fed beef I have ordered so far. Have ordered from 10 plus different states and farms. This meat is tender and not to gamey flavored as some grass fed is. Perfect for the grill, cast iron pan or regular sauté pan. 100 percent would recommend a prescription box to be delivered!!

Loved the corned beef, but…

I followed the included instructions assuming they were for the size (in lbs) that I purchased. After about 3hrs I checked and the meat was at 200degrees! I quickly took it out and started my veggies, then ran to the store and bought pickling spices(was not thinking I needed to add these) and then simmered everything for 15-20mins. In the end the corned beef was still tasty although a tad dry, but I can only imagine how good it would have been if I had only gotten the meat to 145. I think for seasoned cooks the recipe would have been fine but since there was no per lb instructions, this was not beginner friendly. Afterwards I found the boiling instructions on your site and wished I had gone that route. Overall we still ended up with a good meal so I can’t complain.

The most delicious corned beef

This was my first order from Heartstone Farm and I loved the fact that their corned beef had no nitrates. I loosely followed their cooking instructions...substituting 16 oz. American made dry stout beer and added enough water to cover 90% of the brisket, so it was more of a braising in the oven. I took the brisket out after it reached their recommended temperature and put the cabbage and potatoes into the same pot and cooked them on the stove top. The brisket was melt in your mouth tender and juicy and so very flavorful. I bought a large enough brisket to have lefovers to make corned beef hash. I can not go back to grocery store corned beef!!!!

We made the chicken legs for dinner one night in our air fryer...the smell was so wonderful as it was cooking, and the teast was out of this world! There is no comparing this chicken to store bought chicken, at all. I never want to go back to store bought meats! Thank you, Farmer Dan!

This bacon is by far the best I've tasted. It added so much to the bacon wrapped scallops and bacon wrapped filet mignon (Heartstone of course!). My only complaint is that it was a little hard to work with. The strips tended to fall apart at the ends where I needed to fasten with toothpicks and some of the strips broke apart altogether. I used the smaller pieces to patch things up so the filets especially didn't look as pretty as I had hoped for my partner's birthday dinner. Not sure why this happened but both dishes were so tasty, it didn't matter.

Turkey tenderloins

These are delicious! The package had (4) well proportioned tenderloins. I coated them with olive oil and my favorite spices, and cooked them in the air fryer for 12-15 minutes. They were so tender and juicy.

Packaged well and quality meat. I cooked it in a skillet with onions, green peppers, salt, pepper, garlic and some Italian spices. Paired it with sweet potatoes and broccoli, so delicious!

Disappointing, really

I carefully cooked this on the stove top, and I do know how to cook beef. Our particular cut of Flat Iron Steak was a bit fibrous and chewy, but it's possible that we didn't cut against the grain which we didn't think about at the time. The flavor was good and everything else we've ordered has been outstanding.

I recently ordered from Heartstone Farm for the first time. I liked the fact that their meat is not only grass-fed, but also grass finished. I’ve been buying grass-fed beef for some time, but this was the best. I followed the suggested cooking directions on Heartstone’s website, and it was perfection. I’ll be placing another order and ribeye steaks will definitely be on the list!

Nelson loves Ancestral Blend!

The Ancestral Blend was a big hit with our snuggle bug. Neither of care for organ meat---to put it mildly--- but we felt really good about spoiling Nelson with it. As you can see in the video, he couldn't eat it fast enough! Unfortunately, he now has to be on a special restricted diet but it was great while it lasted!

Holy cannoli!! If you've not had the beef brisket from Heartstone Farm, you are missing out! This incredible cut of beef was cooked in the slow cooker and was unbelievably tender and juicy! Highly recommend this cut for the perfect "set it and forget it" supper!

Best Pork Ever

It is so hard to find flavorful pork chops in the grocery store these days. It is too lean. These pork chops are the best I've ever eaten. I was so impressed that I tripled the amount from my initial order so now I'll enjoy more of them in my subscription box. Tender, juicy, making my mouth water just typing this review.

Best Tasting Meat Ever!

We switched to grass fed years ago and have purchased in stores mostly. Our daughter has purchased grass fed from local farms wherever they are located with the military. She usually buys the entire half cow and farm raised pig. She has purchased from several farms and we have shared her meats. We ordered the hamburger and the bacon and both were the best we have ever tasted. My daughter was visiting and she said she thought her meats were excellent but Heartstione Farm beef and bacon blew hers out of the water! Purchased a medium sized corned beef brisket for St Patrick’s day and was not disappointed. Watched their video and downloaded the recipe - which I followed - for a wonderful meal. I recommend grass fed beef from small business operators. It is so much better than the grocery store meat.
