We have received 2 orders from heartstone and have been completely impressed with the quality! We enjoyed it so much that we just subscribed for a monthly delivery package! The sirloin steak was fabulous! We cooked it on the grill and it was tender and juicy! Can’t wait for our next order to arrive!

Excellent Turkey Tenderloins

I am so happy to have found Hearthstone Farm! Due to health issues I needed to go on a grain-free, grass pastured meat diet, and this has made all the difference. As with all the meats I have had the opportunity to try their Turkey Tenderloins are delicious! I just put a little avocado oil, sprinkled on some poultry rub seasoning, and baked for about thirty-five minutes at 425. I was very pleased with the flavor, moistness and tenderness.

Super hit and a little miss!

Fantastic service through out the entire process from order to door step delivery. The process was super easy, while emails kept you up to date until food arrived. Was very happy with taste and flavor!! Nothing beats well grown cattle!! Appreciate the time and hard work that goes in to an industry, that is getting harder and harder due to regulations😠. Only thing that kept me from a 5 star review was the weight of some quality cuts that were ordered. Cuts said 10 ounces or more and were only 6 ounces. Hoping that changes on the next box that will arrive in a couple of weeks.

Makes a real difference

We started with Hearthstone because my doctor suggested eating organic, locally-grown meats. What a pleasant surprise when we discovered that meats we had formerly covered with sauces we now eat with just light seasonings because we don’t want to cover the delicious natural flavor of the meats. My wife is a bacon connoisseur, and she says theirs is the best. In addition, it just feels good to buy from a local family-owned business. We are now regular customers. We just ordered our first blueberry pie, and I can't wait to taste it!

The best i’ve ever had!

I cooked these up this morning..they are by far the best breakfast sausage I’ve ever had! Sweet and tasty, phenomenal! And the ingredients..pork, spices, salt, sugar. It doesn’t get any better!!!

Made the Heartstone beef liver for dinner tonight. Of course you need sautéed onions in bacon grease. I removed the outer membrane and marinated in whole milk for 6 hours. Lightly floured them and cooked to medium rare. OMG I have not had liver so tender and flavorful! If you enjoy a meal of liver I will highly recommend this product you will NOT be disappointed, you will just sit back with a big satisfied smile from having an outstanding meal!

Received my first order, consisting of the hamburger, and turkey loins. When I opened the, what came immediately to mind is the professional packaging. Very first bite of each product also had me feeling that I was consuming the best of both of these products as best in class. The burger in particular is quite arguably the best I’ve ever had! Better than Thanksgiving

It may not be Thanksgiving time, but we paired our beloved marshmallows and sweet potato with the bone in chicken thighs and it was delicious! They are smaller thighs than you usually see at the grocery store, but that’s to be expected when the animal quality is so high. We love Heartstone!

High-Quality, Humane Meat

I'm part way through my first order and very happy with the meat so far. I am not actually a meat lover, sensitive to any and all off flavors. But this meat tastes very pure, including a very simply seasoned and seared ribeye steak. The fajita meat was also delicious and tender, and the burger was the best I've ever had. Ordering is easy and having it delivered even better. Previously, I would drive different places trying to find humanely-raised meat sometimes of dubious origin or quality. I'm glad to not have to do that anymore! I highly recommend Heartstone Farm!

My husband loved the flavor but not the way it was cut. We are used to round and thick filets, The filets we received were long and thin.

I used to live near a friend’s private farm where they would give us meat, and I haven't tasted anything as fresh since I moved to America 16 years ago. That is, until I received my package from Heartstone Farm where the liver was absolutely delicious, just as I remember it being back home. The bacon from hearthstone farm is high quality. We love that it's nitrate free. It's also nice and thick-cut. Our favorite way to cook it is in the oven at 450° for 12 minutes

Excellent Flavor!

So far, we have ordered this product twice. They are full of flavor and superb to serve as a breakfast side with eggs, toast, etc. or include them in a main meal pasta sauce. The only con is there are have been a few bone chips which may be a production issue and hopefully will be corrected by the time I place my next order. Otherwise, I would have rated this tasty product 5 stars.

I love the shaved steak. It makes the best cheesesteak sandwich. We have ours with peppers and onions and of course cheese.

I’ve never seen or tasted beef like this. We pan seared then basted in butter , garlic and rosemary, then transferred pan to 400 oven for 5 minutes.i think it’s the best steak we’ve ever had !

ground turkey & meats

Family is loving my recent order from this company!i was spending quite a lot at the grocery store, and not only is it inconvenient, I just don’t like my food smelling like the chemical perfumes. They pumped to the air at the local groceries/corporations. I much prefer a mom and pop style like this. The ground turkey was amazing. My husband used his birthday machine to make sliced turkey meat children loved it, the filet mignon was amazing as well. I really enjoyed the mixed meats with the ground beef, the children didn’t even notice. ! Will be ordering more!

Small & too many flats

I have loved everything I have eaten so far from Heartstone Farm, but I am a little disappointed in the chicken wings. Out of 31 pieces, there were 10 drums total. The chicken itself was tasty, but I feel you should get an equal amount of drums and flats unless there is a choice of preference.

Grass Fed Ribeye!!

After my first shipment from Heartstone Farm, I was excited to try some of the items immediately. Heartstone Farm provided a very helpful packet with information on how best to prepare and cook their meats. First up was the Grass Fed Ribeye, cooked to their pan searing instructions. Turkey Sausage was a Delight!

I added the new turkey sausage to my monthly box as soon as I saw it was available and it did not disappoint! The flavor was great, and I love feeling good about the food I am feeding my two young children.

So glad I found Heartstone Farm meats. I had been looking for a new supplier for organic meats, especially chicken for some time. I received my order of chicken breasts, drumsticks and tenders in a very timely manner, they were packed extremely well in an organic packing and dry ice which kept them solidly frozen. The chicken truly is tender, and the delicious taste reminds me of the days we raised our own flock of meat birds at home. You will never find chicken of this quality in your grocery store. The fact that they are free ranged and humanely raised in the United States is a huge plus for me. I will be back for more and intend to try the beef and pork also. Highly recommend.

Glad I made the switch

I was a long time Butcher Box customer only because I wanted to be able to choose my own cuts of meat. And, then I found Heartstone Farm. I was glad to make the switch because I prefer to support our farmers here in the USA. I think the meat tastes 100 times better than the other companies I have tried. What I love most is that I can choose my cuts of meat and that it is high quality and that portions are conveniently packaged. I would like to see roasts (top round, sirloin, etc) added to the selection of cuts to choose from, especially beef roasts.

After receiving my first order of ground turkey breast and mild turkey sausage I immediately bought 12 more pounds so we never have to go without. I've never had ground turkey this flavorful and delicious. We eat a high protein diet AND care about animals and the Earth. I don't think we be successful without Farmer Dan.

The most delicious GF liver!

You can taste the freshness of this liver and it has a sweet mild flavor. I don’t even bother soaking it in milk. In fact, I never did previously but the liver had a stronger flavor which I don’t mind, but this is even better! I sauté it with onions, fresh thyme, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce and a little broth with salt and pepper and it turns out super flavorful without overpowering the delicate flavor. The shipment box was perfectly packaged, the liver was still frozen. Thank you!!

Best Short Ribs I've Ever

The difference in taste between Heartstone Farm short ribs and the ones from the grocery store is gigantic. So much more juicy and flavorful. Even just to look at them I could see a difference, the color and thickness of the Heartstone ones were much better. I'll never go back to store-bought!
