Received a letter in the mail from this company stating that they could refinance my car for a lower interest rate. I tend to shy away from these types of advertisements but I was curious. I’ve never refinanced a vehicle before so I didn’t have high expectations especially considering my modest credit score. I took a glance at the reviews from various websites and 24-48 hours after submitting an application online and I received a call from one of their reps. I really just wanted to see what they could offer; even if it meant a few points knocked off my credit score without a contract commitment. The first offer was 1.55 points lower than my current interest rate, but I honestly wasn’t impressed. I honestly thought I was done with negotiations with OpenRoad lending after I declined the offer until I received a text from the rep the next day with another .5 points knocked off. I immediately snagged the deal. Submitted the documents via text, email scan, and mail. The entire process took about 2 weeks. Before the month’s end, the payoff check was sent, and my new account was opened with Kinecta FCU. I advise people to consider their own credit score before creating high expectations. Also KNOW WHY YOU ARE REFINANCING! Be realistic with yourself. And consider that refinancing also means getting new GAP insurance. Read your new contract before you sign!! Ask questions about the new lien holder. This was my first refinance, and despite my skepticism, this was a pleasant experience. The rep was willing to answer any questions and worked extra hard to persuade me on a refinance deal. This is MY experience and no this isn’t fake. These folks are verified. If you must know, you pay a membership fee (which is absorbed in your loan)....so that’s how I guess they make their “commission”. Would I recommend these guys? Yes....to anyone with a decent credit score.

I'm very happy that we found openroadlending. Their re-financing options for our vehicle was great. The entire process is very easy and simple.

I've seen some bad reviews, but I can only go off my own experience. I didn't save the exact amount noted on my pre-qualified letter, but not only was it damn close, there's an asterisk by it, meaning there's more to it at the bottom. Essentially, you could save up to that amount depending on your credit. I knew that before I looked at the bottom. It's very common on pre-qualifications. I still needed to see if I could save on monthly payments for financial reasons and I did. I dropped 4% in interest, which is a decent drop when nobody else would refinance me. The process was smooth and the young lady I worked with was awesome. Professional and very responsive. Now.... paying on time is up to me. If my car gets repossessed for late payments, that's nobody's fault but my own..maybe my employment cicumstances change and I can't pay...they can't simply allow me to keep the car if I'm not paying even if they sympathize with my situation. I just hope that don't happen. But I won't write a bad review because my car was repossessed. I'll be too busy trying to figure out what to do about transportation and a job. ????

Much of this refi was handled via email. Everything went well and I handled it in my time without appointments. The amount of paper work was frustrating but needed. I would deal with them again.

I would have to give my experience a 5 because openroad leading made it super easy for me to refinance my car loan. I worked on my credit and then went on their website and applied, I got approved really fast then started with a loan specialist and I was able to email all my documents to them with the exception of two. It literally took just a few days for me to apply, send over my information, and start saving money. I was paying almost $400 a month and openroad lending got my payments down to $218 a month!!! I’m very happy with the help I got and I would recommend anyone to them.

i have been working on re building my credit and received a offer from openroad thought it was a scam or something of that nature but looked more into it and found out it was legit they refinanced my loan and i went from a 24.99 to a 13.99 % savings, happy with the service i received and cutomer care
