overall, the customer service was fantastic and the process was pretty quick. however, i was told that i would receive a certain interest rate if i paid down my current auto loan, which i did. i then was given an interest rate 1% higher, which was disappointing since they didn't honor what i was told. get everything in writing!

They said I was approved but I have not got any paper work and very little correspondence I would really like to know more about what's going on

Re-finance process took less than 2 weeks, could've been less, but I was apprehensive @ 1st; seemed too good to be true. Friendly, knowledgeable loan specialist, Adonte' , made the process a breeze via phone, email, texts, pic texts, internet & USPS mail. They saved me $104 per month with a 630 credit score & 4 collections on my report + 45 days before 1st payment due & I got a $200 check in the mail today!

honestly, the process was pretty simple. A few phone calls and emails and it was all set. What they failed to mention was my loan was not financed from them, it went through a third-party called regional acceptance corporation, which doesn't sound like a very good company to finance a car through. I tried calling them on two occasions and neither time could I get to a representative. I wish I would've stayed with Honda financial it was more money but I think it would've been worth it

In order to get the information needed to be efficient you need to have access to a computer.

Though the process seemed easy enough, there was not enough information as to what and when things were going to happen. I did not even know who was carrying the new loan until I received a statement

I worked with an agent named Ashley Wilson I feel sorry for her because I was not easy being a first time re-finance customer. She had to deal with my old company who was less than desirable to work with and I appreciate everything that she did. I was never left out I was informed of everything that was going on and she even went out of her way to help me with old issues with prior Lending company. if everyone at open road lending is like her I look forward to staying with them.

The process was easy and was all done online except for mailing in one notarized document. My Agent Stephanie was courteous and answered any questions or concerns I had almost immediately. I applied online in the evening and by the time I woke up in the morning I saw an email saying that I had been approved. The process and the documents that they wanted were very easy to gather and upload. Compare this with a disappointment a week earlier when I contacted my bank saying I wanted to refinance my car loan.

I doubt a little and I just decide to trust. I did it and I'm happy now.

Process stared off great but it took more then three days to get the final e-Mail saying we were all set I was contacted by our new lender before that final e-mail

Refinanced my vehicle by openRoad Lending and was financed on 10/17/16 the original loan was paid off on 10/28/16. Why ? Is interest being charged on this loan from 10/17/16 to 10/28/16. It's ok for the original loan to charge interest for this period. The new loan should start charging interest on the day of the payoff 10/28/16. I don't believe that interest can be charged on a check that is in the mail. Let the check be cashed first. Now i am paying two separate interest rates ?? C.s.r said that the bank servicing the new account would make adjustments. I am still waiting for an adjustment summary. Application id# 1343067

I applied with Open Road Lending because of a letter that I received from them stating that according to the information in the credit bureau, they could refinance my car at a much lower rate and substantially reduce the payment. I had very good credit but through no fault of my own, I was laid off causing an avalanche of issues ruining my credit. I have been trying very hard to repair my damaged credit and reduce high payments due to high interest rates. Although my credit rating had actually improved from the time I first received their offer, I was told that the finance rate they would offer now was substantially less and the payment would be higher. I decided to go with the loan only because they had hit my credit with so many inquiries that the only way I would get rid of them now without hurting my credit rating further, was to go ahead and refinance the loan. I feel that this was a form of bait and switch and a very dishonest business practice.

The entire process was completed in an extremely fast and professional manner, I specially appreciated being able to fully communicate through email since my work schedule permits little phone time. Quick and easy and friendly, in my experience the lag time between final check and actually receiving the loan was confusing since I was receiving rejection letters before receiving final approval. But all is good now.
