My sisters and I got this for my mother as she has Dementia and is over 80 years old. She was also staring to fall a bit. We got her the necklace so she could wear it outside. However, she never used it nor did she ever wear the necklace. However, the few times I had to call the call center, everyone was always very nice and helpful.

one thing I feel should be changed is to have the pacemaker notice more visible as at very start of your presentation. Then one could call Dr. and see if alright before going any further. I'm still in the learning process that is the reason for 4 stars. IF I'm outside and accidental bump the button-their is no way T can hit reset on the monitor to cancel the call. So far I'm very pleased with the equipment. I love the range it gives me more freedom. Another BIG plus I'm in my own home.

I am extremely disappointed and quite honestly angry because the Alert devices I purchased were not operational at all. My father, 85 years young, fell at his residence on Thursday morning (7/16), and was not able to contact anyone. Fortunately, his visiting nurse walked in shortly after his fall and she contacted me right away. I called your customer service line, and with the help of your phone agent, we were able to sync up the devises so that they now work correctly. I was told initially when I purchased the devices that they were "ready to go" upon their delivery. Not true, and this is absolutely, positively and inexcusably unacceptable and wrong. This "error" could have been fatal for my father if his nurse had not arrived when she did. I expect a phone call from your management regarding this incident. Anyway, finally got it going and just as we did, I accidentally disconnected us without thanking him! I was running late for an appointment so I didn’t call back to thank him and then it just slipped my mind later. I’m not sure but I think his name was Fred. So far we have been very pleased, it’s going on 2 weeks now. We plan on testing the devices weekly and did the first one this week...it went well. It gives us peace of mind as my mom is 91 and has had 3 falls recently. I do think however that the customer service hours should be extended. We are on the west coast and there is a three hour difference.

Returned equipment was confirmed to have been received prior to required return date... but because one Medical Care Alert department did not communicate with another I was charged for one month. While the charge was immediate, I am still waiting on the charge to be returned ... 24 days later and counting!!

During the process of ordering my medical care alert, I made a mistake in my email address. When I could not figure out how to correct it myself, I contacted medical care alert via email. I was surprised that within 10 minutes I received a call and the representative was extremely friendly and helpful. She corrected my email as we were on the phone and when I hung up the change was already made. I have also contacted your company by phone and found a similar experience. I would say your customer service ranks at the top.
Medical Alert program provides a feeling that I can live alone and get help if I fall, have a heart attack or stroke or other medical problem.
I recently purchased a MCA Elite pendant for my mother. I was very, very impressed with the level of knowlege displayed by the sales rep, Debbie, and with her patience and willingness to answer all my questions thoroughly and thoughtfully. Unfortunately my mother went into the hospital within days of receiving her pendant and now she can not be left alone, so I can't speak to the quality of the pendant or the call service. Customer service helped me with the return and eventually MCA refunded most of the purchase price. That process seemed excessively slow. High marks for customer service though. The MCA reps are so efficient and helpful. Great people!

I needed a system right away and I was treated with respect and I felt the person I was talking to was trustworthy. Unfortunately, it hasn't arrived yet because of delays in shipping with USPS. But that can't be helped.
December 1 was supposed to delivery. Today is December 16th and still not delivered. USPS just tells me in transit

I have recommended MCA to several people. Though my mother is no longer in need of the device, I felt she was safer for wearing it. The fall protection is worth the piece of mind.
My experience with medical care alert has been wonderful during the past year and a half. I subscribed to it for a friend, who is deaf. She had several falls during the course of the past 18 months and her bracelet always resulted in getting the help needed, despite her inability to vocally ask for it. The alerts were always relayed to me and emergency responders dispatched immediately when needed. The medics transported her to the hospital where she got care until her passing. As a result, we no longer need the service, but will be forever thankful for the assistance received. Having the medical care alert bracelet allowed me to know that my friend had access to assistance day or night and that your response would be immediate. That gave us peace of mind and allowed Dorothy to remain living independently, which was her greatest desire. Thanks to all!

We purchased this system for my now 96 year old mother. She never wanted to wear the pendant & was annoyed by it. She liked previous system that had a wrist band for the alert. Over the past couple of years she has not been using it much. My brother is now living with her & she almost never gets out. I thought it wss a good system.
