Dillion was very patient informative and made the procedure seem very smooth. previously I was looking to invest in fixed bonds but didn't feel and like the way it was being dealt with. a total opposite experience with VCL Vintiners

The process to purchase is easy (selling hopefully too, in time). The concept of taking a share of profits made means VCL is incentivised to get the best price when the time comes to sell.

This was my first dip into the world of cask investment. I’m a risk averse person by nature, but speaking to Ben on a number of occasions, he patiently went through the numbers and statistics (as well as potential risks). Importantly, I didn’t feel pressured in to making a decision about a particular product or even rushed to make a decision of whether or not I would even invest. I found Ben to be knowledgeable and always available to respond to my queries (even on weekends!). This is of course only my first impressions in what I hope to be a long lasting relationship with VCL. But it is all too common to see companies put in a lot of effort to get the new customers and less interest in keeping existing customers. However, from what I have heard VCL do have quite a few things lined up for existing customers. Time will tell. All in all ... great start to the new world for me.

Ben was professional and not pushy at all. He was really good at selecting some barrels for me within my budget, which had the most potential for a decent return and then left me as long as I needed to make the decision to buy. I'm looking forward to seeing how they perform over the next decade and if I'm already considering investing more as soon as I'm able.

I have been quietly impressed with VCL. The discussions with Ben Lancaster were open and honest. I felt the flexibility of the investment plan suited my circumstances perfectly. As I am new to whisky investment, I carried out my own research prior to contacting VCL Vintners. I spoke to Ben who was very knowledgeable about the product & investment opportunity. I wanted to buy whisky purely as a good investment. The no fee until eventual sale was a very positive indicator to me that VCL will work hard to fulfil their projections especially when it's 10% of profit, not the invested amount. Also I was reassured that I hold title to the whisky casks,( for which title documents were sent very promptly after purchase), allaying my fears should VCL cease trading. As I was made aware of which distillery my investment would be placed, I was able to check directly on the distillers own website that the investment projections were/are reasonable. A very positive experience and I look forward to seeing if the industry continues to provide very good returns. VCL (Ben) has been professional throughout and I would not hesitate to recommend VCL Vintners.
