I originally bought this from the refurbished sale in fall 2019. So far, I've had to adjust the wheels because they didn't turn smoothly. The brakes fell off the front part, so I had to replace the front brakes. Third, even in a minor accident (someone ran into the back of the bike instead of not watching out if someone is in the bike lane) was enough to pop the derauilers out and it got caught in the bike spoke, so I had to take it out and put it back in the correct position. This happened AGAIN during a rainstorm after I fell over on the bike because I went into the sidewalk on a steep angle, falling on my left side, not even the derauiler side. In addition some of the paint has already come off and in the 1st accident above the back fender got bent and the light reflector holder+end of the fender edge came off as well.
Also, the bike doesn't close up properly! I always have to readjust the handlebar and all to get the magnetic parts to touch. I don't touch the handlebar height since I'm a short person so I'm wondering if that's the last time I need to try out, but it seems like the bar is preventing the bike to close all the way.
For now this is ok because I'm only using this bike for commuting to the subway and from work to subway, but I'm considering other brands that have different folding and a lighter weight. This bike is 27lb but it sometimes feels clunky and I am only 5ft but I have an active job+walk my dog+15k steps a day every day kind of fitness level. I just don't think within 2 months this bike shouldn't be falling apart this much. It does feel speedy and takes rocky roads and various surfaces with ease, I just have a gut feeling this bike isn't for me, but this is my fault for not trying out bikes in a shop - but I needed this bike asap since I switched jobs quickly and didn't have a paycheck yet to buy my bike.
