What a relief to find a gluten free bakery on line! I took a chance and it worked spectacularly. The best part was that both cakes were delivered on time (one in Los Angeles and one in Michigan) Both were fresh and tasty, which is difficult to do with gluten free bakery products. The icing was particularly good. I hope to order them again next year.

The cake consisted of nearly no cake at all. The cake consisted of 80% of the most absolute horrible icing and 20% sliver of cake. The cake looked good but but way to sweet to eat. It's a shame to have wasted so much money for my wife's birthday cake and she could not stand the massive amount Sugar

Hi Kathy Sorry to tell you but you put the wrong address in for the nursing home. You had 803 Park and it is 830. When I saw UPS exception I called to correct the address and they said they would try to get driver back. They could not and delivered on 9/2. Because it was not our fault, Please delete this review or change it. The cookies were sent as a birthday gift for my 91 year young mom. She has Alzheimer's and is in an assisted care facility where they can't have flowers, or else I would of sent them. She still loves cookies, cake, etc, so I thought the 800 Bakery would be a good choice. I paid for next day shipping, so the cookies should of been delicious. My brothers live near mom and were present when the cookies arrived. They said that the box the cookies came in would probably have tasted better. Very disappointed with 1-800 Bakery. No, I didn't call to complain, the birthday is done, and I have moved on.

yes it is a bit expensive, but when your son lives 2000 miles away - it is what it is, you pay! but he did said it was very good, only thing is box came damaged, only a little bit of damage to birthday cookie- figured it wouldnt get there without some damage! all & all it was well received!

Placed the order on Wednesday supposed to ship Thursday. On Friday it didn't arrive UPS says it never shipped the bakery says the UPS driver forgot to pick it up. Customer service only available eight hours a day Monday through Friday so I had to wait till Monday to contact them after being dumped to voice mail repeatedly and no one returning my calls finally got a real person who agreed to refund my money

I was lucky to go see the actual cake that was delivered. Much smaller than the way it looks on the website. I was embarrased with what I have sent. I know you get what you pay for, but not to the extent that the cake looks very very small that makes you think they ripped you off paying that much money. I could have bought it 1/6 the price (with ofcourse shipping that was 11 dollars in addition). AVOID using !
