Good Replacement
Verified Buyer
I installed the replacement for the previous control panel that would not allow me to change the Wifi Password. I must admit that I would think there should have been a software upgrade or a complete swap out, instead of a purchase to continue access my weather station. The new panel works well and it was reasonable easy to install.

Ambient Weather WS-3000-C Console with Logging, Graphing, Alarming, Radio Controlled Clock, CONSOLE ONLY
Good to have a display for my sensors in the house again. Previous unit died after 3 years but this one may be better. I like having an alert for when the pump house is freezing or it's too hot in the house for the pets. Also enjoy the graph function for the mode where 5 sensors are displayed at a time. Would love to see a keyboard for labeling sensors, but the pick list is rather complete and "close enough" works well.

Ambient Weather WS-5000 Ultrasonic Professional Smart Weather Station & Thermo Hygrometer
The mechanical setup of the WS-5000 was straightforward. The console manual is voluminous with many photos of the face and its selection and input buttons. Some of the pictures were useful. With help from the Ambient Facebook group, I was able to better understand the text in the manual. My unit had trouble reporting a correct barometric pressure. Using data points of Ambient units in my area, and the NWS, I re-calibrated only to be presented with a single whole number digit for the pressure. Ultimately, I did a hard re-boot and the unit seems to have settled. All other measurements seem to be reporting correctly. Had the manual been less confusing and had the barometric readings been correct I could easily have given a five star review.

Ambient Weather WS-2902-WC Replacement Wind Cups, WS-1900, WS-2000 and WS-2902 Wireless Weather Station
The replacement wind cups work well. The one that came with the unit was not made correctly and would not fit on the spindle securely at all. miss drilled or something.
